"By the way, how did you get to Namek?" Elder Moori asked.

"Before this, I went to Earth. Earth's Shenron brought me here," Lu Fan replied with a smile.

"Earth? Are there Namekians on that planet too?" Elder Moori asked, taken aback.

"Yes." Lu Fan nodded.

"I understand everything about you now." Elder Moori gave a slight nod and quietly studied Lu Fan again. After a moment, he said, "If all you want is the ability to survive in the vacuum of space, I can ask Shenron to grant your wish... However, he..."

At this, Moori turned to look at Vegeta, who had collapsed on the ground unconscious.

"Uh, he wants to become a Super Saiyan. Just ask Shenron to tell him how to become one," Lu Fan said with a smile.

"What did you say? A Super Saiyan?" Elder Moori was slightly startled. "I've heard the Grand Elder mention them... They're said to be the most powerful warriors in the universe... There's something I'm not sure I should say."

"Just say it. Why be so polite?" Lu Fan replied.

Elder Moori: "..."

I don't even know how to respond to that.

"Your prince... has a very evil aura about him. If you really make him a Super Saiyan, I'm afraid he'll take control of the entire universe," Elder Moori said gravely. "When that happens, the whole universe could face a tremendous crisis."

"Don't worry. I'm absolutely confident that with my guidance, our prince will become a good person," Lu Fan said confidently.

Elder Moori: "..."

The villagers: "..."

The Namekians present were all at a loss for words.

Where did you get that confidence?

The evil aura inside this prince is so strong.

Can he really become a good person?

"Trust me," Lu Fan said. "Look at the sincerity in my eyes."

As he spoke, Lu Fan's eyes turned into little dots.

Elder Moori: "..."

The villagers: "..."

The Namekians all wiped sweat from their brows.

What was sincere about that look?

Your eyes are completely lifeless!

"I can agree to let you search for the Dragon Balls, but we won't help you look for them. If you manage to gather all seven and summon Shenron to grant your wishes, then it means you were destined to meet Namek's Shenron. We definitely won't interfere," Elder Moori said with a smile, having already made up his mind.

Go ahead and search!

Namek is enormous.

Search to your heart's content.

There's no way you'll find all seven Dragon Balls.

Oh?

That prince has a Scouter over his eye?

Can that thing detect the strength of our auras?

Maybe that device can find our village.

Elder Moori was tempted to destroy the Scouter with a wave of his hand.

But then he reconsidered and immediately dismissed the idea.

Even if they found the Dragon Balls, could they summon Shenron?

Summoning Shenron required speaking Namekian.

And granting the wishes required Namekian too.

"Okay, thank you." Lu Fan nodded and stepped forward to kick Vegeta.

Vegeta slowly regained consciousness, sprang to his feet, and threw a punch at Lu Fan.

"Smack!"

Lu Fan casually raised a hand and blocked Vegeta's punch.

"Your Highness, take it easy. Don't you still want to become a Super Saiyan?" Lu Fan hurriedly said.

"Hmph. I'll settle the score with you properly later!" Vegeta gritted his teeth and pulled back his fist.

Vegeta suddenly felt that something wasn't right about Lu Fan.

His battle power was supposed to be gone.

So why had it felt like his punch hadn't hurt Lu Fan at all?

Had the kid hidden his battle power?

Hmph, playing games with me, are you?

I, Vegeta, have never been afraid of tricks.

So what if you've hidden your battle power?

Let's find the Dragon Balls first.

Once we find them, I'll make my wish before he can.

"Your Highness, while you were unconscious, I reached an agreement with the Namekians. They've agreed to let us search for the Dragon Balls on this planet, but they won't help us," Lu Fan explained. "There's one condition: if you kill anyone here, they'll make the Dragon Balls disappear."

"What did you say? Make the Dragon Balls disappear?" Vegeta gritted his teeth.

"That's right. They made the Dragon Balls, so making them disappear should be easy, right, village chief?" Lu Fan flashed Elder Moori a grin.

Elder Moori: "..."

"Ahem, I'm Moori, the elder of this village..." Moori forced a smile.

"Isn't the boss of a village the village chief?" Lu Fan said, sounding entirely reasonable.

Elder Moori didn't want to say anything.

Three seconds of silence passed.

"That's right. Please don't kill anyone," Elder Moori said to Vegeta.

"Hmph." Vegeta gave a grunt, which counted as agreement.

I'm only here to find the Dragon Balls, anyway.

I can take over this planet later.

There's not much point in conquering it now.

"Your Highness, we're incredibly lucky. There happens to be a Dragon Ball in the village where we landed. That means there are six more Dragon Balls out there," Lu Fan said as he took out the Dragon Radar and pressed its button.

A golden dot appeared in the center of the radar's screen.

"It's in that room!" Vegeta immediately turned toward one of the rooms.

Then Vegeta strode forward.

After taking two steps, Vegeta suddenly came to his senses.

"Lu Fan, go get the Dragon Ball in that room," Vegeta ordered.

I'm a prince.

My underling should be doing this kind of thing.

Why should I go get the Dragon Ball myself?

"Mm-hmm." Lu Fan nodded, then stretched out a hand toward the room.

"Smack!"

Lu Fan gently curled his fingers back.

An invisible force instantly enveloped the Dragon Ball in the room.

"Whoosh!"

The next moment, the Dragon Ball shot out of the room and flew toward Lu Fan.

"Smack!"

The basketball-sized Dragon Ball landed in Lu Fan's hand.

"What? When did you learn this kind of special ability?" Vegeta asked in surprise.

Lu Fan smiled faintly and showed no sign of explaining.

"Have you been studying this sort of thing lately?" Vegeta seemed to have figured it out. "Hiding your battle power! Studying special abilities?"

"Didn't I tell you? I study destruction," Lu Fan said, shaking his head and answering honestly.
