"Whoosh!"
A streak of light blazed across the sky.
Vegeta descended from above, carrying two Dragon Balls, and landed atop Cloud Mountain Peak, where the Grand Elder lived.
After landing, Vegeta didn't even bother with the Grand Elder or Neil. He went straight into the Grand Elder's room to look for the Dragon Ball.
Lu Fan had told him that if he really angered the Namekians, they might make the Dragon Balls disappear. That would be a problem.
He'd better make his wish first.
Just as Vegeta started toward the Grand Elder's room,
"Stop!" Neil called out.
"Oh?" Vegeta turned to look at Neil and slowly came to a halt.
"No one is allowed to enter the Grand Elder's room without his permission!" Neil shouted.
"Are you talking to me?" Vegeta laughed.
Not one of these people had come looking for trouble with him.
He'd been getting bored.
He hadn't expected to find such a big opportunity here.
"What? Is there anyone else here besides you?" Neil said coldly.
"Isn't that one lying over there a person?" Vegeta pointed at the Grand Elder.
The Grand Elder: "..."
Why drag me into this?
Neil wiped away his sweat.
"Cut the nonsense. What are you doing here?" Neil shouted.
"What do you think? Aren't the two Dragon Balls in my hands obvious enough?" Vegeta snorted.
"So you're here to collect the Dragon Balls? Go back! We'll never give them to someone as evil as you," Neil said coldly.
"Looks like you won't be satisfied until I teach you a lesson." Vegeta smiled and casually set the two Dragon Balls down on the ground.
Then Vegeta pressed the Scouter he wore over his eye.
"Let's see what your battle power is." Vegeta glanced at the battle-power reading on the Scouter. "Oh? Not bad. Your battle power has reached 5,000. You really do have the grounds to talk big to me."
Neil watched Vegeta calmly without saying a word.
"Do you know what my battle power is?" Vegeta snorted, the corners of his mouth curling into a faint smile.
"How much?" Neil asked.
"15,000!" Vegeta pointed his thumb at his own nose.
"Is that so?" Neil nodded, unsurprised.
"My battle power is a full three times yours." Vegeta snorted. "Now, let me teach you a proper lesson."
"Whoosh!"
As he spoke, Vegeta charged straight at Neil at top speed.
Then Vegeta kicked at him.
"Smack!"
Neil leaned slightly to one side and dodged the kick.
The next moment, Neil grabbed Vegeta by the ankle and slammed a kick into his abdomen.
"Argh..."
Vegeta let out a piercing cry of pain. His body traced an arc through the air before he plunged headfirst into a distant lake.
"Hmph. The Saiyan prince isn't all that impressive after all," Neil snorted.
"Neil, be careful. He can turn into a Great Ape," the Grand Elder warned. "A Saiyan's power increases at least tenfold after transforming into a Great Ape, doesn't it?"
"What? Tenfold?" Neil's expression changed. He looked up at the sky, saw no full moon, and relaxed slightly before replying, "Didn't the Grand Elder say there are no full moons on Namek? Then he can't turn into a Great Ape, right?"
"I've also heard that some Saiyans can create their own full moon," the Grand Elder speculated. "Of course, we'll need further confirmation to know if that's true."
"We should've asked Lu Fan just now," Neil sighed.
"Whoosh!"
Vegeta shot out of the lake and soared into the green sky, looking down at Neil from above.
Vegeta had been caught off guard.
How could this Namekian be so strong?
Vegeta pressed the Scouter over his eye again.
That's strange!
This guy's battle power is still 5,000.
My battle power is clearly 15,000.
How did he beat me so badly?
"That's impossible!" Vegeta shouted.
Then Vegeta dived from the sky and hurtled toward Neil.
"Bam!"
Neil threw an uppercut, hitting Vegeta squarely in the chest.
"Ugh..."
Vegeta spat out a mouthful of blood and staggered to the ground, feeling utterly miserable.
"Go back. You're no match for me," Neil snorted.
Vegeta swayed as he stood up, fury written all over his face.
"This, this..." Vegeta felt like he'd been utterly screwed over.
This made no sense.
This guy's battle power was still 5,000.
My battle power had clearly reached 15,000.
My battle power is three times his!
Why can't I beat him?
"Galick Gun!"
Vegeta shouted, and a powerful energy blast suddenly appeared in his hand.
The blast surged toward Neil.
Neil remained exceptionally calm as he watched it speed toward him.
"Bam!"
Neil immediately swatted at it with one hand.
The energy blast shot straight up into the sky.
"Boom!"
It exploded in midair, bursting into brilliant colors.
Vegeta was completely stunned.
Are you kidding me?
He just swatted away the energy blast I'd gathered?
Is this guy really a Namekian?
When did Namekians get so strong?
"Want to keep fighting?" Neil snorted.
"Y-you..." Vegeta was on the verge of tears. His young heart had taken a serious beating.
Vegeta just couldn't understand it. He was still hung up on the battle-power readings.
"That's impossible! Absolutely impossible!" Vegeta shouted.
"Can that thing you're wearing detect my battle power?" Neil asked with a smile.
Vegeta didn't reply.
"Then take a good look at my battle power with that thing." Neil smiled, clenched his fists, and gradually let his energy erupt.
"Beep! Beep!"
The reading on the Scouter over Vegeta's eye kept climbing.
"What? Battle power 6,000, 7,000, 8,000... It's still rising?" Vegeta exclaimed in shock.
Then Vegeta watched as the reading on the Scouter continued to climb rapidly.
"15,000, 16,000, 17,000, 18,000, 19,000..." The shock in Vegeta's eyes was unmistakable.
"Bam!"
The next moment, Vegeta's Scouter exploded on the spot.
Vegeta was so shocked he nearly lost his soul.
Are you kidding me?
This guy's battle power is already over 20,000?
Before you continue
