"She lives on the same planet as me, so you can rest assured," Champa replied.
"I'm so conflicted. I don't want to be a live-in son-in-law..." Lu Fan murmured.
Vados covered her face, unwilling to say anything.
Champa's face darkened.
What kind of nonsense was this?
What the hell was a live-in son-in-law!
"Then it's settled. Starting today, I'll live with Little Vados," Lu Fan said.
Champa was speechless.
Hadn't you just disagreed?
You changed your mind way too fast.
"So, what do we need to take back to make Cola?" Champa asked.
"We need to take all this equipment." Lu Fan pointed to the equipment for making Cola. "And it'd be best to take that tree over there, too."
Champa: "..."
You sure have a lot of demands.
But for the sake of drinking Cola, Champa didn't hesitate.
Champa went over, pulled the tree out by its roots, then reached out and grabbed the Cola-making equipment from a distance.
"All right, we can go," Champa said. "Go hold that tree, and I'll fly you there."
Lu Fan immediately stepped forward and hugged Vados.
Vados: "..."
"Don't hug me. Go hug the tree," Vados said, speechless.
"Hugging you feels better," Lu Fan replied.
Vados had nothing to say.
"Forget it. Let's go," Champa said, utterly exasperated.
This kid never did things the usual way.
They'd better get going.
Vados didn't object either, letting Lu Fan hold her like that.
"Tap!"
Vados lightly tapped the ground with the Staff in her hand.
Brilliant flames, as dazzling as stars, instantly spread over Lu Fan and Vados.
"Whoosh!"
Vados took Lu Fan with her as she plunged into the Void and entered outer space.
Champa, meanwhile, pulled the enormous Cola Tree and the Cola-making equipment along, purple-red flames flaring around him as he followed behind.
"Little Vados, you're amazing! You fly so fast," Lu Fan exclaimed.
Vados smiled faintly.
"Hmph, kid, there's a lot you don't know." Champa caught up and snorted.
"You're gods, aren't you?" Lu Fan suddenly asked.
Champa: "..."
"Looks like you're not completely clueless, then," Champa said with a faint smile.
"Are you very powerful?" Lu Fan asked with a smile, not particularly bothered.
"Of course. I'm the most powerful god in our universe." Champa nodded proudly.
"Is that so?" Lu Fan smiled faintly.
"What? You don't believe me, judging by that look on your face?" Champa rolled his eyes. "I'll show you just how powerful I am."
"Whoosh!"
As he spoke, Champa casually waved his hand, sending a purple-red orb of Destruction Energy flying.
The Destruction Energy hurtled toward a huge star in the distance.
"Crack!"
The purple-red energy struck the enormous star in an instant.
In the blink of an eye, the star shattered into pieces, reduced to dust, and vanished without a trace.
This region of space immediately grew dark.
"Clap, clap!"
Lu Fan applauded enthusiastically.
"Well, kid?" Champa asked smugly.
"Incredible! I've really seen something today." Lu Fan nodded vigorously. "If we converted it into our Saiyan battle power... the battle power value of that move you just used would be impossible to calculate."
"Battle power? What's that?" Champa turned to ask Vados.
Vados lifted her Staff and examined it closely.
"Battle power is a measurement of energy used by the Frieza Force in Universe 7. It can be measured with an advanced device," Vados explained. "However, this device can't measure divine power; it can only measure ordinary energy. Lu Fan is right. If that move of Destruction were converted into battle power, the result would probably be astronomical."
"Kid, what's your battle power?" Champa asked with a smile.
"I don't know," Lu Fan said, shaking his head.
"Never mind, it's not important. If you can make Cola that satisfies me, I can teach you a move or two in my spare time," Champa said with a smile.
"Thank you," Lu Fan said.
"Kid, you're pretty lucky. Training with me will make your progress twice as fast," Champa said with a faint smile.
"Um, Fat Cat... there's something I'd like to ask," Lu Fan said.
"Don't call me Fat Cat. Since you know I'm a god, you should call me Lord Champa!" Champa said, his face darkening.
"All right, Lord Champa." Lu Fan nodded.
"That's more like it." Champa replied with satisfaction, then asked, "Go ahead. Ask whatever you want."
"How big can you make that move you just used?" Lu Fan asked.
"What do you mean?" Champa was taken aback.
"I mean exactly what I said," Lu Fan explained, then added two words: "Its volume."
"Volume?" Champa was slightly stunned, unable to understand why Lu Fan was asking.
"Right, its volume," Lu Fan said, nodding.
"There's no point asking that. Destruction is about its destructive power. What does its volume have to do with anything?" Champa shook his head.
"Does a larger volume mean greater power?" Lu Fan asked again.
"In principle, yes, but that's not entirely true," Champa explained. "Take the Destruction you condense—as you'd call it, energy. You can condense it to a very large size, but if you only focus on its volume and neglect what's inside it, its power will be affected."
"I mean, if you don't neglect what's inside it, does a larger volume mean greater power?" Lu Fan asked.
"Of course," Champa said, nodding. "Isn't that obvious? Take two objects with the same density: the larger one will be more powerful. But if you compare the same volume of cotton and iron, there's no real comparison."
"So, how large a volume of Destruction can you condense right now?" Lu Fan asked.
Champa: "..."
After all that, you've just circled back to the same question...
Vados listened quietly beside them, then glanced at Lu Fan thoughtfully.
"Heh heh, Lord Champa can currently condense Destruction to a volume roughly the size of Planet Vegeta," Vados suddenly said.
"You can make it that big?" Lu Fan feigned surprise.
"Hmph, that's nothing," Champa snorted. "Destruction of that intensity could destroy an entire universe if I wanted it to."
"Really? That's amazing!" Lu Fan nodded vigorously.
"Kid, now you know how powerful I am, right?" Champa said with a smug snort. "You'd better show me some respect from now on. Wiping you out would be as easy as crushing an ant."
"Mm-hmm," Lu Fan replied.
Champa: "..."
Why did I feel like you weren't scared at all?
Had you drunk so much Cola that it had addled your brain?
Never mind. Why bother arguing with a human over this?
Before you continue
