"Waaahhh!"
Frost, in a fit of exasperated rage, bared his fangs and claws as he lunged toward the direction where Lu Fan stood.
"Time Skip!"
Hit moved in a blur, appearing instantly directly in front of Frost, and immediately activated his Time Skip.
"Bang!"
Just as Hit prepared to send Frost flying with a single punch.
A shoe flew in from the distance, slamming squarely into Frost's face.
With a dull thud, a clear shoe print appeared on Frost's face.
The next moment, Frost was sent flying backward, crashing headfirst into the ground and tumbling over a dozen times.
Frost's body scraped against the earth, leaving a long trail behind him.
Once Frost finally came to a stop, his body twitched a dozen times before his head lolled to the side, and he passed out cold.
Hit was stunned.
That guy's speed is incredible.
I had already used Time Skip, yet he still managed to throw his shoe and hit Frost before I could.
"Thanks," Lu Fan said to Hit.
Hit: "..."
Hit wiped away a bead of sweat.
What are you thanking me for?
I don't think I actually did anything.
"Thank you for your assistance," Lu Fan grinned, revealing a set of pearly white teeth.
"You're welcome..." Hit shook his head slightly.
"Mm-hmm," Lu Fan nodded.
Hit: "..."
Mm-hmm... what is that supposed to mean?
Champa was momentarily dazed.
"Hey, Vados, I just realized that this kid... his strength is remarkable," Champa whispered to Vados after being stunned for several seconds.
"Is that only just occurring to you now, Lord Champa?" Vados sighed.
"Who do you think is stronger, him or Hit?" Champa asked.
"Need you ask? Lu Fan is obviously stronger; after all, he is practically my half-disciple," Vados giggled.
"Should I have them spar?" Champa muttered, resting his chin in his hand, before ordering, "Lu Fan, Hit, the two of you, have a match."
"Understood!" Hit nodded.
"No, not interested," Lu Fan refused with a shake of his head.
Hit: "..."
"What did you say, brat? When I tell you to spar, you do it—you're too much trouble," Champa's face darkened.
"Don't you want to drink the new beverage?" Lu Fan asked.
"Forget it, let's go research the new drink first," Champa smacked his lips.
By comparison, Champa felt the new beverage was far more important.
"Very well," Lu Fan smiled faintly.
Hit, however, looked at Lu Fan with a solemn expression.
This guy is no simpleton.
He is definitely even more powerful than I imagined.
But why won't he spar with me?
Is he lacking confidence in himself?
No, I can tell from his expression that there isn't a hint of insecurity there.
This beverage blender is becoming more and more mysterious.
Lu Fan went off to research the new drink.
"Vados, when does the new universe register for the God of Destruction selection? What is the specific process?" Champa asked.
"It should be within the next two days. We will decide on the candidates first, then wait for the notification from the Grand Priest, who will teleport us there," Vados smiled.
"How is the selection held?" Champa inquired.
"It will likely be a martial arts tournament," Vados speculated. "After all, the role of a God of Destruction is primarily based on martial prowess."
Champa understood.
He fell silent for a moment.
"Is there a reward? If someone from our universe is elected as a God of Destruction..." Champa asked in a low voice.
"There is. The Super Dragon Ball, which can grant any wish," Vados said with a smile.
"The Super Dragon Ball? I have indeed heard of such things, but I didn't expect them to actually exist." Champa was stunned, then rested his chin on his hand in deep thought. "What should I wish for? If nothing else, I could wish for a Gourmet Planet like the one in Universe 7... that would save me the trouble of building one myself. You have to admit, those chicken wings we had last time were truly delicious."
"Lord Champa, you speak as if... our Mr. Hit has already been elected as a God of Destruction." Vados shook her head.
"Of course, Hit's strength speaks for itself." Champa grinned. "I originally wanted Lu Fan to be the God of Destruction, but it's fine if he doesn't want to. If he became the God of Destruction, who would make our drinks?"
"Ho ho, you are right." Vados nodded.
Universe 7.
Beerus's Planet.
Whis received the message from the Grand Priest immediately.
"Oh my, Lord Beerus is currently sleeping. What should I do?" Whis sighed.
"Whis, what happened?" The Oracle Fish flew over, looking at Whis with curiosity.
"The Grand Priest wants to select a human from each universe to succeed as the God of Destruction for a new universe," Whis said with a smile.
"Who from our universe would be suitable to go?" the Oracle Fish asked.
"I don't know." Whis shook his head. "Lord Beerus is still sleeping..."
"Wake him up quickly. It wouldn't be good to delay such an important matter, would it?" the Oracle Fish suggested.
"You are right." Whis nodded.
The man and the fish walked toward the castle.
"By the way, Whis, I have a premonition that in about 40 years or so, our universe will give birth to a few extremely powerful humans... but for now... I'm afraid there are no suitable candidates to compete for the God of Destruction position." The Oracle Fish sighed.
"Let Lord Beerus decide." Whis smiled.
"That works too." The Oracle Fish nodded.
"It will take another 40 years for our universe to produce powerful humans?" Whis looked out the window.
"Yes, that is my prophecy," the Oracle Fish replied.
"Your prophecies are often inaccurate," Whis added with a laugh.
Oracle Fish: "..."
The two entered the castle and walked to the bedroom where Beerus was sleeping.
Beerus was sprawled out on the bed, fast asleep.
"He really can sleep. Let's wake him up first; it would be a pity to miss this, and it wouldn't be good if the Grand Priest were to blame us." As he said this, Whis tapped his staff onto Beerus's head.
Instantly, a large bump swelled up on Beerus's head.
Beerus woke up in pain immediately.
"Whoosh!"
Beerus waved his hand, and a blast of Destruction energy whistled toward Whis.
"Snap!"
Whis gave a light wave of his staff, and the Destruction energy vanished instantly.
"Whis! What are you doing!" Beerus clutched the bump on his forehead and shouted angrily.
"Lord Beerus, I didn't want to disturb your sleep either, but the Grand Priest suddenly sent an important directive. If you don't want to participate, you can continue sleeping," Whis replied.
"What? The Grand Priest?" Beerus sobered up instantly and asked hurriedly, "What instructions does the Grand Priest have?"
