The Demonic Devourer of Another World, the Seal of Reincarnation, and the Resolve to Protect

The monsters pouring out of the rift in space looked like dried bones, their bodies covered in dark purple scales. Black mist that could dissolve chakra spewed from their mouths. The monster at their head was three times the size of its kind, with three scarlet eyes growing from its skull. As it roared, dozens of black beams shot toward the Konoha Ninja.

"Spread out!" Su Ye roared. His Rinne Sharingan spun rapidly, and a pale purple Shinra Tensei burst open before him, deflecting the black beams. But the shockwaves still swept over several ninja. Their arms were instantly corroded by the black mist, and their chakra drained away like a breached floodgate.

Itachi and Sasuke immediately formed a combined Susanoo. The deep-blue giant wielded a long sword and slashed at the monsters. Its blade flashed, cutting more than a dozen of them in half, but their severed bodies turned into black mist and re-formed as new monsters. "These monsters can regenerate from the black mist!" Sasuke cried, staring intently at their three eyes with his Mangekyō Sharingan. "Attack their eyes! That's their weakness!"

Naruto entered his Nine-Tails' complete form, a golden Tailed Beast Bomb gathering in his mouth as he took aim at the lead monster's head. "Tailed Beast Bomb!" The golden sphere of energy hurtled toward the monster, but it took the blast head-on with its scales. The monster roared and swiped at Naruto with its giant claw. Naruto dodged, but its claws gouged five deep grooves into his Tailed Beast Cloak.

Kakashi's Sharingan spun at high speed as he analyzed the monsters' attack patterns. "Their scales absorb chakra, so ordinary ninjutsu won't work. Su Ye, can your Rinne Sharingan seal them?"

Su Ye nodded and formed Hand Seals. "Samsara: Sealing Technique!" Pale purple chakra turned into chains that coiled toward a monster. The instant they wrapped around it, the monster let out a shrill scream, its body gradually being sealed inside the chains. It works! Su Ye was elated, but at that moment, the lead monster suddenly spewed out a huge cloud of black mist. Countless smaller monsters surged out of it and attacked him.

"Su Ye, I'll help you!" Guy opened the Seventh Gate of the Eight Inner Gates, steam swirling around him as he kicked at the black mist. But the smaller monsters clung to him like burrs, beginning to eat away at his chakra. Guy's expression changed drastically. He could only surge his chakra to shake them off.

Seeing this, Itachi formed a flaming arrow with the bow of their combined Susanoo. "Sasuke, infuse it with your Blaze Release!" Sasuke understood at once. His black Blaze Release: Kagutsuchi flowed into the arrow. Itachi drew the bowstring taut and fired at the lead monster's three eyes.

The arrow pierced the black mist and struck the monster's left eye with pinpoint accuracy. The monster let out a roar that shook the heavens, black blood pouring from its eye. "Now!" Seizing the opportunity, Su Ye unleashed the full power of his Rinne Sharingan. Pale purple chakra formed a massive sealing array that engulfed the lead monster.

Countless chains wrapped around the monster inside the array as it struggled madly, the scales on its body beginning to fall away. "No—!" it roared, trying to turn into black mist and escape, but the sealing array trapped the mist like a cage. Blood trickled from the corner of Su Ye's mouth as he poured all his chakra into the array. "Samsara Final Seal!"

The sealing array blazed with light, and the lead monster was gradually sealed inside it. Seeing their leader sealed, the other monsters fled in a frenzy, trying to retreat through the rift in space. Naruto immediately chased after them, firing Tailed Beast Bombs one after another and blasting the fleeing monsters apart.

Just then, the rift in space suddenly widened, and an even more enormous figure crawled out. The monster had six arms, each gripping a black greatsword. Its three eyes glowed scarlet, and the black mist swirling around it was powerful enough to warp the space nearby.

"This is...the leader of the Demon Eaters!" Su Ye's pupils contracted. His Rinne Sharingan sensed that this monster's power far surpassed that of all their previous enemies.

The Demon Eater Leader roared and swung all six greatswords at once. Countless black blades of energy swept toward them. Their combined Susanoo immediately raised its sword to block, but the blades were far more powerful than expected. Cracks appeared in the Susanoo's sword from the impact. "We can't keep this up!" Itachi said gravely. "Su Ye, can you close the rift in space?"

Su Ye shook his head. "The energy in the rift is too powerful. My Rinne Sharingan can't close it directly. Unless...we have enough power to seal it."

"I have an idea." Nagato's voice suddenly rang out. Everyone turned around and saw the Rinnegan beside Nagato's corpse floating in the air, glowing faintly. "Su Ye, if you combine my Rinnegan with your Rinne Sharingan, you might be able to use 'Samsara: Spatial Sealing Technique' to close the rift for good."

Su Ye walked over to Nagato's corpse and looked at the floating Rinnegan, resolve filling his eyes. He reached out and made his Rinne Sharingan resonate with Nagato's Rinnegan. Pale purple and scarlet light intertwined, forming a massive beam that shot straight toward the rift in space.

The Demon Eater Leader saw this and roared as it charged toward the beam, trying to stop the rift from closing. Naruto, Guy, and Kakashi immediately stood in its way and engaged it in battle. Naruto entered his Nine-Tails' complete form and fired Tailed Beast Bombs one after another; Guy unleashed the full power of the Eight Inner Gates, his fists and kicks striking the Demon Eater Leader like a gale; Kakashi channeled immense power into his Chidori and thrust it toward the monster's arm.

The Demon Eater Leader was pinned down by the three, unable to approach the beam. Su Ye exchanged a glance with Itachi and Sasuke, and all three poured their chakra into it. The beam flared brighter, and the rift in space began to shrink slowly. Seeing this, the Demon Eater Leader's eyes flashed with madness. It suddenly broke free of the three and charged toward the beam.

"Not a chance!" Their combined Susanoo raised its long sword and slashed at the Demon Eater Leader's head. The blade pierced its skull, sending black blood gushing out. The Demon Eater Leader let out a shrill scream, its body beginning to dissipate.

Just as the Demon Eater Leader was about to disappear, it suddenly poured all its power into the rift in space, making it widen again. "No!" Su Ye's expression changed drastically. He released all his chakra, and both his Rinne Sharingan and Nagato's Rinnegan blazed with their full power.

"Samsara: Spatial Sealing Technique!"

The beam collided with the rift, and all of Konoha shook violently. The black mist inside the rift was gradually swallowed by the beam, and the rift began to shrink before their eyes. Finally, with a deafening boom, the rift in space closed completely, and the beam vanished with it.

Su Ye collapsed to the ground, utterly drained, the light in his Rinne Sharingan gradually dimming. Itachi and Sasuke hurried over and helped him up. Naruto, Guy, and Kakashi gathered around as well, their faces worn with exhaustion but bright with the joy of victory.

Nagato's Rinnegan slowly settled into Su Ye's hand, the light in its eyes fading away. Su Ye tightened his grip around it and looked toward Nagato's corpse, guilt filling his eyes. "Nagato, thank you."

The Konoha ninja gathered around them and bowed to Su Ye and the others. "Thank you, everyone, for protecting Konoha."

Su Ye rose to his feet. He looked at the ninja before him, then at Itachi, Sasuke, Naruto, Guy, and Kakashi. Resolve flashed in his eyes. "Konoha is our home, all of ours. As long as we're here, we'll never let anyone harm it."

Itachi nodded, and their combined Susanoo slowly faded away. "There may be new dangers in the future. But as long as we fight side by side, there's no hardship we can't overcome."

Sasuke looked at everyone, a faint smile appearing on his lips. He knew that from this day forward, he would no longer be alone. He had people to protect, and a home to defend.

The sun sank in the west, its golden rays spilling across Konoha's streets. Though the village was left in ruins after the brutal battle, it had begun to come alive again. Su Ye clenched the Rinnegan in his hand and silently vowed that no matter how many challenges the future brought, he would use his power to protect this land and the people by his side.

A new journey of protection had only just begun.
