Madara sneered and formed a black chakra spear in his other hand, thrusting it straight at Sasuke's heart.
At the last moment, Nagato suddenly leapt up from his hospital bed, chains from the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path coiling around him as he threw himself in front of Sasuke. The chakra spear pierced the chains and ran through Nagato's body, but he clung to the spear with all his strength. His Rinnegan shone brilliantly. "Su Ye, use what I taught you... Six Paths: Sealing Jutsu!"
Resolve flashed in Su Ye's eyes. He formed Hand Seals, and black-and-white chakra poured from his Rinne Sharingan, resonating with Nagato's Rinnegan. "Itachi, Sasuke, pour your chakra into Susanoo!" Su Ye roared. The black-and-white chakra became a vast barrier that trapped Madara inside.

Itachi understood at once. He drew the bowstring taut, and the blazing arrow shot toward Madara with power enough to destroy the world. Madara's pupils contracted. He tried to dodge, but Nagato's chains from the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path had him bound fast. "No!" Madara roared, beating his Six Paths wings furiously, but the arrow still pierced his chest.
Black flames ravaged Madara from within, and his Six Paths Form began to collapse. Clutching his chest, Madara looked up in despair. "I actually... lost to a bunch of brats!" Just then, his body began to turn intangible. A black figure emerged from within him—it was Black Zetsu, who had long been suppressed by Madara.
"Madara, in the end, you were nothing but my pawn." Black Zetsu sneered, turning into a shadow and flying toward Nagato's Rinnegan. Su Ye's pupils contracted. He tried to stop him, only to find that his chakra was already spent. Just as Black Zetsu was about to touch Nagato, Sasuke suddenly used the Body Flicker Technique and pierced him with the Kusanagi Sword.
