Background / History

Naruto arrives with Sakura and Jiraiya during Su Ye's confrontation with Obito over Gaara. He quickly develops camaraderie with Su Ye and later accepts Su Ye's guidance in learning to communicate with Kurama rather than treating the Nine-Tails as a source of uncontrollable power 14 16.

As the Akatsuki pursue the jinchūriki, Naruto fights alongside Su Ye and Kakashi to protect Roshi and Han. He supports the joint defense plan for the Tailed Beasts and repeatedly confronts Obito's forces, the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, Kisame, and Madara 17 18 19 24 25.
