"Shizuka, this Vision is yours."
After finishing their meal, Uchiha Arashi crafted a third Vision and handed it over to Uchiha Shizuka.
Among the younger siblings, Uchiha Shizuka was on the younger side, yet her progress was the most significant. Despite being at an age where she should only be in her second year at the Ninja Academy, she had already barely met Izumi's graduation standards.
Of course, compared to students who had officially graduated from the Ninja Academy, Shizuka still had some gaps, primarily due to her physical development and a lower total chakra reserve. However, she had mastered ninja theory exceptionally well and had already learned several ninjutsu.
This learning ability completely eclipsed the other siblings, making her the second person to receive a Vision.
"Yay!"
Shizuka cheered, ran up to Uchiha Arashi, and reached out to take the Vision.
Almost the very second she touched it, the crystal in the center of the Vision began to glow, and a pattern never seen before appeared within it.
"Arashi, my eyes... they feel a bit itchy."
However, Shizuka's attention was not on the Vision. She blinked repeatedly as tears began to stream from the corners of her eyes.
Perhaps because it was truly unbearable, she instinctively raised her hands, wanting to rub them.
Uchiha Arashi immediately reached out to stop her.
"Don't move, just endure it for now."
Uchiha Arashi was also surprised. He crouched down slightly and stared intently at Shizuka's eyes, not forgetting to activate his Mangekyo.
Under his gaze, he could see a distinct anomaly in Shizuka's eyes. Her pupils were rapidly flickering, repeatedly contracting and dilating, while a massive amount of chakra surged from the depths of her brain, pouring continuously into her eyes.
Clearly, her eyes were undergoing some kind of miraculous transformation.
Shizuka was about to awaken her Sharingan!
Uchiha Arashi made an immediate judgment, and a wave of bitterness couldn't help but rise in his heart. Look at this little girl, awakening her eyes at such a young age, and then look at himself—how old was he now? His own eyes hadn't shown the slightest movement, and he still had to rely on someone else's Sharingan to fight.
Without a doubt, Shizuka was one of the top geniuses of the next generation of the Uchiha clan.
It was just a pity that in the original story, she died on the night of the clan massacre, and her talent never had the chance to be realized.
But not in this life. He would protect her, help her grow, and allow her to fully unleash her potential.
The transformation continued. Everyone else held their breath, watching Shizuka's back nervously.
About a few minutes later, Shizuka's eyes finally stopped tearing up. She blinked, and her pupils remained pitch black.
She had failed to awaken her eyes.
Or rather, to be precise, Uchiha Shizuka had likely completed the entire process of awakening, but because her physical "hardware" was not yet up to standard, her body had proactively prevented the eyes from evolving further as a form of self-protection.
"How is Shizuka?"
Izumi asked from the side.
Uchiha Arashi explained his assessment.
"Arashi, are you saying I failed to awaken them?"
Setting aside the reactions of the others, after hearing Uchiha Arashi's explanation, Uchiha Shizuka's little face was filled with disappointment.
"No, you succeeded. It's just that your body is limiting you. Don't worry, you're still so young; you'll keep growing. Once your physical fitness reaches the threshold, your eyes will awaken automatically."
Just like Sasuke.
There was no need to elaborate on Sasuke's talent. He was a descendant of Indra, and his talent was no less than Madara Uchiha's. He had also been stimulated to awaken his eyes on the night of the massacre, yet for the next several years, he never displayed the Sharingan. Even Sasuke himself didn't know the fact that he had already awakened them.
It wasn't until the Land of Waves mission, when he thought Naruto had died, that his intense emotions finally brought the Sharingan back into the light.
Shizuka was similar to Sasuke, only half a year older than him. Even if her talent could match his, she wouldn't have truly awakened her eyes this early.
But he couldn't say all that. He had to break it down and explain his reasoning, as well as the relationship between her eyes and her body, carefully to the little girl.
Upon realizing she hadn't actually failed, the little girl finally broke into a happy smile.
"Let me see your Vision."
Uchiha Arashi took the Vision back from Shizuka.
The crystal in the center of the Vision was now a dark purple, with a tomoe-shaped icon in the middle.
"Yin Release Eye of God. An attribute I've never seen before. It seems it should be able to enhance Yin Release chakra, which will help with eye awakening and the subsequent use of ocular jutsu... if Shizuka can awaken the Mangekyo."
Originally, the attributes of the Visions were Wind, Fire, Water, Cryo, Electro, Dendro, and Geo, corresponding to the seven elements of the seven archons in Teyvat. The Ninja World had no seven archons and no elemental energy, so besides helping the user master natural forces faster, the Visions automatically corresponded to seven chakra attributes: Water, Fire, Wind, Lightning, Earth, Yin, and Yang.
Uchiha Arashi had previously hypothesized this, but unfortunately, he had no proof at the time. The two Visions he had created before corresponded to Fire and Lightning, so he wasn't sure if his guess was correct.
Now, it seemed he had guessed perfectly.
A Yin-attribute Vision could strengthen Yin Release chakra and enhance spiritual power, making it suitable for Uchiha to use. A Yang-attribute Vision, unsurprisingly, would correspond to Yang Release chakra, which was also very suitable for Uchiha, especially those who possessed the Mangekyo.
It was just a pity that this Vision belonged to Shizuka and was already soul-bound to her; it would be useless even if someone else wore it.
"Put it on. Remember to keep it safe. Don't lose it, and definitely don't break it..."
Uchiha Arashi gave his usual instructions.
He had said the same things when Ayatsuki received her Vision.
In truth, there was no need to worry too much about it being lost or destroyed.
As for the former, if one were to simply lose their Eye of God, the worst consequence would be the loss of its blessing; there would be no other repercussions.
The issue with the Vision Hunt Decree in Inazuma is that the Statue of the Omnipresent God contains the will of Ei. As a deity, she can naturally influence the Eyes of God beneath her. Therefore, that is no longer a simple loss, but a forced deprivation.
As for damage, there is even less need to worry about that. Up until the moment Uchiha Arashi transmigrated, he had never seen a single case of an Eye of God being destroyed. Master Diluc once attempted to destroy his father's (deceased) Eye of God, yet he still failed. This suggests that an Eye of God is not as simple as it appears on the surface; it is more like the manifestation of a concept, one that cannot be destroyed by ordinary means.
He said all this only so that Shizuka might cherish her Eye of God more.
However, Uchiha Arashi seemed to have worried in vain, for as soon as he finished speaking, Shizuka simply found a piece of string and hung the Eye of God around her neck, letting it dangle directly into her collar.
