Background / History

Sea God Pavilion is an integral part of the Golden Ancient Tree. Its facilities include secluded rooms beneath the tree, used for cultivation preparation and recovery. 7

When You Jie’s second soul ring attached to both of his martial souls, Mu En gathered the strength of the Pavilion elders and employed the Sea God’s Light, but they could not stop the unprecedented dual absorption. 2 After witnessing You Jie summon the Soul Douluo-level Stardust Dragon, Mu En declared that the Pavilion had a successor and ordered You Jie to cultivate there in peace. 3

The Pavilion later became a center for handling Shrek Academy’s escalating internal and external crises. Mu En concealed the details of You Jie’s battle with Huo Yuhao, used the Pavilion to supervise Huo Yuhao’s deep meditation, and discussed the institution’s shortage of high-level elders. 57

Following the capture of Holy Spirit Cult member Zhongli Tian, Mu En imprisoned him deep beneath Sea God Pavilion, broke the restriction seal on him, and convened an expanded emergency meeting of Shrek’s available Title Douluo-level experts. 115 Meetings became increasingly frequent as the Sun Moon Empire and Holy Spirit Cult’s hidden trump card threatened the Academy. 131

• Golden Ancient Tree chambers — The Pavilion contains warm rooms beneath the Golden Ancient Tree, including spaces used for You Jie’s body-tempering preparations. 7
• Mimicry cultivation rooms — It contains 108 mimicry cultivation rooms, used by Huo Yuhao during deep meditation. 57
• Library — The Pavilion library holds Shrek Academy records and grants controlled research access; Wang Yan may enter daily but cannot remove materials. 2 110

Sea God Pavilion Master

Mu En, the Dragon God Douluo, serves as Sea God Pavilion Master. His authority allows him to direct secrecy measures, approve cultivation plans, convene emergency councils, interrogate prisoners, and negotiate with outside powers. 4 21 99 115

Elders

The Pavilion elders oversee Academy matters alongside Mu En. They gathered to witness Stardust Dragon’s manifestation, participate in strategic deliberations, and respond to the Holy Spirit Cult and Sun Moon Empire threat. 3 115 131

• Xuan Zi — Present among the elders during You Jie’s Stardust Dragon demonstration; despite Mu En’s dissatisfaction with him, he remains a level 98 Super Douluo filling a gap in the Pavilion’s upper ranks. 3 57
• Yan Shaozhe — Participates in Pavilion affairs and is summoned to receive visitors such as the Body Sect. 99
