In Dottore's final battle, the Traveler targeted the Moon Marrow sustaining Dottore's authority. Empowered by Columbina's Crescent Moon Imprint, he shattered Dottore's defenses and used Geo power to manifest a stone pillar that impaled him, creating the opening for Columbina to destroy him. 349 353

Afterward, he sought the truth about Lumine and his own past. Columbina led him to his hidden spaceship on the Frost Moon, where flight logs revealed that he and Lumine had visited Teyvat far earlier than he believed. The ship had later crash-landed in Nod-Krai after millennia had passed. 360 362 363

The revelation led him to reconsider what “home” meant. Though Lumine remains his foremost priority, he ultimately acknowledged Teyvat as his home. Columbina subsequently lifted some of the restrictions placed on him by the world, improving his command of elemental power. 363 364 381

During the later Irminsul crisis, the Traveler mastered phlogiston, causing the Pyro Gnosis to disappear into his body. With Mavuika's assistance, he crossed the barrier into Sumeru without obstruction and was recognized by her as Dumani. 445

He subsequently returned to Irminsul with Scaramouche to confront Dottore's remaining data and pollution. Although Dottore initially held the advantage within Irminsul, Nahida aided the pair, allowing the Traveler to embed her prepared item into a data-formed mountain and weaken Dottore's power source. 458 460 After Dottore caused Irminsul to collapse, the Traveler and Scaramouche helped Nahida escape the falling structure as she used the Pyro Gnosis's highest authorization to purge Irminsul and finally destroy Dottore's remaining presence. 461

While exploring ancient lunar ruins with Paimon, the Traveler received Ancient Moon Power from a figure appearing to be Columbina. He later discovered that this figure was in fact a black Moon Spirit mimicking Columbina's form. 478 479

The black Moon Spirit led the Traveler and Paimon through a Dragon Sovereign Clan lunar facility and into a moon landing spaceship after its defenses activated a self-destruct sequence. After the craft malfunctioned and its escape pods landed on the Moon, the Traveler used Ancient Moon Power to lift the rubble trapping him and reunite with Paimon. 480 483

With Paimon and Ningning, the Traveler activated Energy Generation Stations, repaired a signal locator, and activated the Eye of Ibinibolong. The group then used an Ancient Moon Power-driven high-speed transit passage to reach the Ujien Circle. 487

He continued exploring the lunar facilities with Paimon and Ningning, investigating the Ujien Circle and Stellar Creature Capture Station. He fought Pioneer Secret Source Command Arrays while protecting his companions during repairs to the power facility, then navigated its spinning turbines as the restored Ancient Moon Power brought the installation back online. 490 491 492

The Traveler later investigated Lusharim's laboratory with Paimon and Ningning for clues about Columbina's disappearance and the Moon's secrets. The group bypassed its security systems and recovered the “Imprint of the Moonwatcher,” a warning sent by a distant civilization facing destruction by the Black Destruction. 504

Together with Columbina, the Traveler traversed the path to the Lunar Heart and passed through the launch shaft of an ancient Dragon Sovereign Clan Orbital Weapon. After the weapon activated accidentally, the pair reached and destroyed its core, permanently disabling it. 506

The Traveler received a message from Lumine confirming that the Moonwatchers' interstellar transmission had been received and answered. He and Columbina subsequently discussed other civilizations and the possibility of one day returning to and restoring his original homeland. 511

In Snezhnaya, Rhonavar's attempt to reclaim Paimon provoked the Traveler into attacking the Archon of Death. He used Electro, Cryo, Geo, Pyro, and Anemo in their clash, ultimately managing to wound Rhonavar's shoulder before she withdrew. 512 513

He is compassionate but not naïve. He repeatedly prioritizes civilians, seeks solutions to crises, and earns the loyalty of people across opposing factions; however, he remains wary when circumstances appear suspicious. 303 406
