Geography

• The Ga River splits near Konoha’s wall into the Naka River and the Hokuga River. Their stretches within the village are each about five meters wide 41.
• The Naka River is one of three rivers described as running through Konoha; the wider Yi River forms the crosswise part of their roughly A-shaped layout 41.

Notable Events

• Danzō’s ambush: Danzō chose a spot beside the Naka River to lure Yakushi Nonō into an ambush. He considered the nearby waterfall and fast-flowing water useful for disposing of a body without drawing suspicion 199.
• Danzō’s final request: Before his death, Danzō asked Nonō to burn his body and scatter his ashes in the river so that he could remain with Konoha 201.
• Investigation record: A dossier given to Sarutobi Hiruzen documented the conversation and battle by the Naka River 202.
