Eating Soft Rice is Shameful, But It's So Good (New book seeking collection, seeking recommendation)
Yusuke dug into his wallet and tossed it to Nawaki.
"Hehe, brother-in-law is truly generous."
Nawaki caught it and vanished in a flash of speed.
"Um, that brat Nawaki is just spouting nonsense, you..."
After a moment of silence, Tsunade lowered her head, clenching her small hands as she took the initiative to break the awkward atmosphere.
"How long have I been unconscious?" Yusuke did not continue the topic, choosing to ask about other matters instead.
"Ah, oh, it's been six days." Tsunade let out a breath, finally putting that subject to rest.
"Six days already? How is your body holding up?" Yusuke asked with concern.
"Hehe, I'm perfectly fine now."
Tsunade swung her fist, returning to her usual bold and energetic self.
"Hanzo the Salamander's poison is truly formidable; I'm still searching for a way to neutralize it."
She pointed to the scroll on the bedside table.
However, noticing the drool mark on it, she coughed lightly and pretended nothing was amiss, blocking Yusuke's line of sight.
"By the way, thanks to your accurate intelligence this time, the Land of Iron was spared an attack from Amegakure. The Amegakure ninja forces have now been withdrawn by Hanzo the Salamander."
"Your contribution this time is significant; you should be able to exchange it for a decent ninjutsu at the ninjutsu storage room." Her voice was filled with excitement.
"Then... what about that father and daughter from Amegakure? Were they brought back to Konoha?"
Yusuke wasn't overly excited by his own achievements, asking about other matters instead.
Upon hearing this, Tsunade's excitement faded. She sighed and said, "Amegakure is under total martial law. I asked a newly infiltrated mole to look into it."
"Amegakure is conducting a massive purge of internal moles. Ninjas broke into that father and daughter's home, but they only found the corpse of Seiichi; they couldn't find Konan."
Yusuke leaned against the headboard, falling into silence.
I wonder if, under the interference of a transmigrator like me, Konan can still survive as she did in the original story.
And whether Hanzo the Salamander will declare war on the Five Great Shinobi Nations as he did in the original.
Yet, with the current turbulent times, I can't even guarantee I'll be alive in the next moment.
A sense of urgency suddenly welled up within him, a feeling stemming entirely from his own lack of strength.
Currently, only Incursio can help me increase my power. Only by wearing the Incursio armor for extended periods can I reach Kage-level strength.
So, what I need to do now is improve my physical fitness.
But Tsunade just said I could choose a ninjutsu from the storage room. There is something there that I am determined to obtain.
His eyes glinted as he calculated his next plan.
"Hey, what are you thinking about?" Tsunade walked over and touched Yusuke's forehead. "No adverse reactions here."
Yusuke reached out to hold Tsunade's hand. "I've been lying down for days; my body feels like it's rusting. Let's go for a walk outside."
Tsunade's face flushed slightly. "Mm... mm, okay."
In the hospital courtyard, two figures walked slowly along the path.
One was rugged and handsome, the other graceful and charming. They looked like a golden boy and jade girl, but they couldn't avoid the envious and jealous gazes of other male ninjas.
Their Konoha princess had been snatched up by an unknown civilian ninja without any warning.
A breeze blew, ruffling the bangs on Tsunade's forehead, and Yusuke gently tucked them back for her.
"Tsunade, can you do me a favor?" he asked softly.
"We aren't on a mission, why are you calling me that?" Tsunade's face turned red as she muttered under her breath, "Fine, what is it?"
"You mentioned I could choose a ninjutsu, but would it be possible to pick one from the Forbidden Scroll?"
Tsunade was slightly taken aback. Most of the ninjutsu in the Forbidden Scroll had high requirements for the user, and practicing them blindly could damage the body.
She asked suspiciously, "Which ninjutsu is it?"
"The Flying Thunder God, the space-time ninjutsu created by the Second Hokage." Yusuke answered very seriously.
"Grand-uncle's Flying Thunder God? It's possible, but this technique has extremely high requirements for the user; it demands incredible reflex speed."
"Furthermore, it requires a high level of spatial coordinate perception. Because of that, aside from Grand-uncle, no one has been able to master it to this day."
"This technique is too difficult to learn. You could choose other rare ninjutsu, or I could even help you get another one if you'd like."
Tsunade tried to persuade him, fearing that Yusuke was just wasting his chance because he had heard of the Flying Thunder God's uniqueness.
However, for a ninja like Yusuke who valued stability, a technique that allowed for combat, escape, and surprise attacks was simply too perfect.
He looked at Tsunade with firm eyes. "I'll stick with the Flying Thunder God. I really need it."
Tsunade held her forehead. "I give up. Fine, fine, I'll help you get the Flying Thunder God."
"If you find you can't master it, I'll help you find another suitable rare ninjutsu."
Yusuke, moved, hugged Tsunade and spun her around, once again drawing envious and jealous glares from the other male ninjas.
Living off a woman is shameful, but it sure is sweet.
The afternoon passed quickly; after finishing the meal Nawaki brought over, Yusuke began reading the scrolls Tsunade had provided.
It wasn't the Flying Thunder God technique recorded directly in a forbidden scroll; Tsunade had brought him Tobirama Senju's original research notes on the technique.
This luxurious treatment made Yusuke sigh once again about how sweet it is to live off a woman.
After reviewing the notes, Yusuke's superhuman comprehension allowed him to quickly grasp the essence of the Flying Thunder God.
Tobirama Senju truly lived up to his reputation as a genius, and the Flying Thunder God was an incredibly imaginative feat—he had created a space-time ninjutsu entirely based on the foundations of sealing and summoning techniques.
The first step of this technique is anchoring a spatial mark; this medium can be any object, and it serves as the cornerstone of the Flying Thunder God.
The next step is mark perception, which requires the ability to sense chakra in order to detect the spatial marks left on the medium.
The final step is activating the spatial mark, using it to perform a reverse-summoning transfer.
Each step interlocks with the next; one mistake leads to a cascade of failures, which is why it is so difficult to master.
The most difficult aspect, however, is that without superhuman neural reflexes, even if one mastered the three steps, it would be nothing more than a suicide mission.
This once again made Yusuke truly marvel at the genius of Tobirama Senju and the super-reflexes of Minato Namikaze.
Training in the Flying Thunder God would be a long and arduous journey, but fortunately, the first step—anchoring the spatial mark—did not require his body to be fully recovered.
He could train while continuing his recovery at the hospital.
Time flies like an arrow, and the days without being able to show off passed in a blur.
In the blink of an eye, over ten days had passed, and Yusuke's injuries had fully healed.
Following his memories, he returned home to find a layer of dust covering the tables, as no one had cleaned the place.
His original self's parents had died during the First Great Ninja War, and he had only inherited this three-bedroom apartment after coming of age in the orphanage.
Yusuke sighed softly and was just about to start cleaning when a figure appearing at the doorway made him instantly alert.
"Who are you?"
