Early Life and Academy Training

Dugu Yan belongs to a family whose combat tradition centers on poison. By the time Dugu Bo asks Xing Tian to watch over her, the Dugu family consists only of grandfather and granddaughter. Dugu Yan's family poison problem makes her fear that a future flare-up could kill her without warning.
