History

Conflict over Tang Wulin

Tang San’s divine consciousness remains within his son Tang Wulin, protecting the seals that contain the Golden Dragon King bloodline. When Leon extracts the first layer of that bloodline, Tang San’s consciousness attempts to interfere but cannot stop him. 42

Leon subsequently suppresses Old Tang and prevents Tang Wulin’s Clear Sky Hammer awakening from allowing Tang San’s consciousness to manifest freely. 43 Leon later breaks further seals, extracts more Golden Dragon King bloodline, and incorporates its genetic template into the Douluo Planet Martial Soul. 63

Tang Wutong’s Disappearance

Li Ang’s removal of Wang Dong’er—identified as Tang Wutong—from ten thousand years in the past causes Tang San’s memories of his daughter to erode. Tang San and Xiao Wu retain only fragments of those memories through their bloodline connection. 95

Old Tang later reconnects with Tang San and confirms Tang Wulin’s survival, allowing Tang San to identify Li Ang and Gu Yue as enemies. 97

Intervention in the Past

When Li Ang and Gu Yue attempt to recover the Emperor Auspicious Beast in the past, Tang San violates the God Realm’s prohibition against interfering in mortal affairs. He attacks Li Ang with the Asura Divine Sword, but Gu Yue escapes with Huo Yuhao and the Emperor Auspicious Beast. 107 108

Li Ang later takes the Asura Divine Sword back to his own era, leaving Tang San unable to retrieve it across the immense distance between their positions. 111

Final Battle with Li Ang and Gu Yue

Tang San emerges through Tang Wulin’s opened seals and attacks Gu Yue after sensing the Golden Dragon King bloodline within her. Li Ang blocks the strike but is severely wounded, forcing him to fuse with Douluo Planet and raise his Soul Ring count from six to eight. 137

When Tang Wulin’s seventeenth seal opens prematurely, Tang San regains more power but is torn between using it against Li Ang and Gu Yue or saving his son from collapse. 140 He continues fighting Gu Yue while Li Ang forcibly opens Tang Wulin’s eighteenth seal and purifies the remaining Golden Dragon King bloodline. 141

Li Ang eventually kills Tang San and absorbs his spiritual power, raising his own spiritual power to the quasi-first-class god level. 143

Death

After his consciousness is restored, Tang San joins the other God Kings in the black hole and plans to return to Douluo Planet. Li Ang appears before the assembled God Realms and kills Tang San and Xiao Wu with ease. 148
