Background / History

Douluo Planet manifested during Leon's martial soul awakening as an enormous azure sphere connected to the actual world outside. Leon immediately recognized its appearance from depictions of Douluo Planet itself; the awakening destroyed the Spirit Pagoda's Awakening Stone. 1

Its power is initially constrained by Tang Hao, identified by Leon as the current Plane Master. Leon believes that attempting to access the planet's true core power would awaken Tang Hao and provoke an immediate attack, forcing him to cultivate and develop the Martial Soul discreetly. 2 19

After Leon merges with the Geo Archon Rex Lapis Template, the template begins reshaping the Martial Soul—and, through it, the actual planet—toward a stronger state. 5 The remodeling formally accelerates during Leon's secondary awakening, when Rock Element energy begins entering the azure planet and changing its nature. 115

The secondary awakening culminates in the planet's transformation into a dark-golden form. Leon perceives the boundary between himself and the planet as nearly gone: Douluo Planet becomes an extension of his body rather than merely his Martial Soul. 120
