Supreme Demon Sutra

At Konoha Hospital, in the eyes of others, Uzumaki Naruto had merely fainted. They were unaware that a massive transformation was occurring within his soul in the depths of his consciousness.

In that mental space, two cocoons of light—one sky-blue and one blood-red—were slowly merging, gradually forming a single purple cocoon.

After a long while, the cocoon shattered to reveal Naruto. His eyes were dazed as he whispered, "Am... am I Uzumaki Naruto?" As his gaze grew increasingly resolute, Naruto became more and more clear-headed.

His mind was flooded with a vast amount of memories. The soul that had merged with his was named Demon Owl, hailing from a place called Blue Star, a world of modern cultivation. Demon Owl had been the sect leader of a demonic faction; after plundering too many other sects, they had united to besiege him, forcing him to self-destruct. The explosion created a spatial rift, and a wisp of his remnant soul was sucked into it, arriving in the Naruto: Starting with Asura Chakra world and falling right into Naruto's consciousness.

Having plundered so many sects, Demon Owl had studied most of their cultivation techniques and martial arts, and now that the two souls had merged, these techniques were all imprinted in Naruto's mind.

Beyond these, Naruto also gained memories regarding the ninja world: why he was abused, his true identity, and the major events that would unfold over the next few decades.

"Huff, so I am the son of the Fourth Hokage? And these people abuse me just because of some rumors? Heh, hehehe."

"Grandpa Third? Heh, Hiruzen Sarutobi, Shimura Danzō."

With the fusion of the two souls—or rather, Naruto devouring that remnant soul—Naruto could no longer remain as naive as before. Recalling the life he had led, his eyes gradually turned increasingly cruel.

After a long while, suppressing the rage in his heart, Naruto examined the techniques in his mind. By comparing them, he discovered that chakra cultivation was essentially an overdraft of potential and vitality, which was why most ninjas did not live long. In contrast, cultivation techniques focused on absorbing spiritual energy (natural energy) to strengthen cells and meridians, forming a vortex within the body. Upon reaching a certain realm, one could form an inner core, achieving the goal of refining both body and life.

Having finished reviewing all the memories, he understood why Demon Owl had plundered those sects: he had been trying to create the strongest cultivation technique, using those sects' arts as references.

Before he was besieged, he had successfully created the technique, but he had only finished cultivating the first half; otherwise, he would not have been forced to self-destruct.

The technique he created was named Supreme Demon Sutra. It was a dual cultivation method for both spirit and body, divided into two parts: the upper part, Worldly Sorrows, and the lower part, Paradise. Worldly Sorrows had five levels; each level completed not only increased one's cultivation but also allowed for the summoning of a demon statue. Worldly Sorrows was divided into four layers, and upon completing Paradise, one could practice a technique called Despair Judgment. Additionally, there was a halberd technique designed to complement the Supreme Demon Sutra.

For some reason, even though these characters were different from those used in the ninja world, Naruto knew how to read them and understood their meanings perfectly.

After finishing, Naruto didn't rush to cultivate. Although he was in his mental space, he could clearly sense many people around him; now was not the time.

Opening his eyes, he saw Hiruzen Sarutobi standing nearby with a large group of people, including Anbu, as well as doctors and nurses from Konoha Hospital.

"Naruto, you're awake. How do you feel?" Seeing Naruto open his eyes, Hiruzen Sarutobi stepped forward and asked, patting Naruto's head.

"Grandpa Third, I'm fine, just a little dizzy."

Although he had seen those memories and knew his suffering was largely due to Hiruzen Sarutobi, and he desperately wanted his head to have an intimate encounter with his fist, he lacked the strength for now and could only answer obediently.

While patting Naruto's head, Hiruzen Sarutobi had probed the seal within Naruto's body. Seeing that it was intact, he finally felt at ease. (If a jinchūriki's life is threatened or they are provoked, they might inadvertently use the power of the tailed beast.)

"Then rest well in the hospital. Grandpa has things to do, so I must be going."

"Grandpa Third, I'm fine now. I don't want to stay in the hospital; I want to go home."

"Alright, make sure to rest well when you get back. Oh, by the way, Naruto, the Ninja Academy starts in a few days. Would you like to go to school?"

"Eh, can I go?"

"Of course you can. If you're willing, I'll have someone pick you up in a few days."

"Mm-hmm, okay, thank you, Grandpa Third."

Seeing Naruto agree, Hiruzen Sarutobi turned and left with the Anbu, and Naruto prepared to head home as well.

"Sigh, why hasn't this damned demon fox died yet?"

"Exactly. I don't know why the Hokage keeps him around. Someone like that should have died long ago."

Just as he reached the door, Naruto heard the venomous words of two nurses. He ignored them, though his eyes grew increasingly cruel.

Back home, Naruto lay on his bed and began his first session of cultivation. Since the cultivation involved absorbing natural energy, Naruto did not hide it. In the current ninja world, apart from the three great sage regions, the nine tailed beasts, and Jiraiya, no one else could perceive natural energy. Following the instructions in the technique, he absorbed spiritual energy into his body, circulating it through his eight extraordinary meridians. As the energy entered, he used a portion of it to temper his flesh from the outside in.

Slowly, Naruto became immersed in his cultivation. He did not notice that greyish substances were seeping out from his skin, gradually accumulating until his body was covered in a black shell.

At midnight, Naruto ended his cultivation. It wasn't because he had reached his limit, but because he had sensed a hidden energy within his mental space during the process. Opening his eyes and seeing the black shell on his skin, Naruto ignored it.

He attempted to draw this energy out, and as the Supreme Demon Sutra circulated, the energy was quickly pulled into his hand.

"Heh, this must be the chakra that Asura has been reincarnating with."

As he spoke, Naruto tried to devour this chakra. He found it surprisingly smooth, and soon the chakra was completely consumed, turning into nutrients to strengthen his body.

As the Asura Chakra was devoured, Naruto's physical body grew stronger. Because he had merged with that remnant soul, the range of his perception gradually expanded—one mile, two miles... until it stopped at thirty miles. Finally, sixteen purple chains extended from Naruto's back.

"Is this the Sage Body? God Moon Mind's Eye? Adamantine Sealing Chains? Have they all awakened?"

Noticing the changes in himself, Naruto quickly realized that by absorbing the Asura Chakra, the Uzumaki Clan bloodline within him had awakened.

"This so-called Sage Body is actually a spiritual body. This will make my future cultivation speed even faster."

Afterward, Naruto didn't continue cultivating but went to take a bath. Although the awakening of the Sage Body had shaken off that black shell, he felt strange if he didn't wash up.

After his bath, Naruto lay on the bed, clenching his fists to feel the change in his power while activating the God Moon Mind's Eye.

"Are those two outside the house the Anbu sent by Hiruzen Sarutobi to monitor me?" When the God Moon Mind's Eye awakened, Naruto sensed the two Anbu ninjas. He ignored them; they couldn't perceive spiritual energy, and even if they saw the Adamantine Sealing Chains and let Hiruzen Sarutobi know he had awakened them, it didn't matter.

Instead of cultivating, Naruto looked through the martial arts and techniques. He quickly selected a leg technique and a technique called the Soul Control Technique.

As he finished reading the contents of the Soul Control Technique, a plan began to form in Naruto's mind...
