Long Xiaoyao rescued the reincarnated Long Yaochen from a soul beast and, recognizing that the child was extraordinary, raised him with meticulous care for six years. He came to regard Yaochen as his own son. 1

After Yaochen's Radiant Sacred Dragon mutated into the near-divine Eternal Blazing Sun Holy Dragon, its overflowing divinity began erasing his memories and humanity. Long Xiaoyao repeatedly searched for a compatible flame to stabilize him; an earlier attempt involving Ye Xishui's Bright Phoenix fire nearly caused Yaochen's divinity to consume him. 1 6

When Yaochen's condition became critical, Long Xiaoyao forcibly suppressed the divine outbreak with his domain and identified Ma Xiaotao's Evil Fire Phoenix as the key to repairing Yaochen's Soul Core. 1 3

His aggression is tempered by exceptional care for Long Yaochen.
