Background

Yue Hanmu is Yue Zhengen's adopted son and the young master of the Sacred Angel Family. Yue Zhengen is both the family patriarch and commander of the Southern Army Group. Yue Hanmu's tofu Martial Soul disappointed observers expecting the family's Sacred Angel inheritance, but its pure light attribute and the Six-Winged Angel mark on his forehead drew considerable attention. 229 272

He retains memories and knowledge from several lives and parallel worlds. He identifies his earlier identities as Tang Chuan, Mu Hongchen, Huo Yuhao, and Mu Han; this knowledge lets him recognize people, bloodlines, and future events that others cannot anticipate. 232 234 273

Before the age of six, Yue Hanmu predicted the opening of a demon gate near Upper Mausoleum City. He used the Southern Army Group's authority to summon aid from the military, Federal Council, Shrek Academy, and Spirit Pagoda, reducing the Yuanen Family's casualties from the thirty-seven expected in the original outcome to fewer than ten. After Yehui's death and Yuanen Tiandang's collapse, Yue Hanmu took Yuan'en Yehui away from the family to protect her from ostracism. 232

Yue Hanmu remains composed under scrutiny. When his Martial Soul awakened as tofu rather than the Sacred Angel expected by the Yue Family, he understood the disappointment around him without losing his composure. 229

He manipulates Tang Wulin's awakening without alerting Tang San's protective mark, avoids direct exposure after provoking the Holy Spirit Cult, and spends two years hidden within the Sacred Angel Family rather than offering his enemies an opening. 234 259

His protectiveness is selective but genuine. He shelters Yuan'en Yehui, completes Xu Xiaoyan's awakening, saves Ye Xinglan, and treats Xu Xiaoyan as a key partner in his future plans. Yue Hanmu entered Eastsea Academy's Zero Class as its only Level 20 one-ring Soul Master, despite possessing combat strength beyond most two-ring Soul Grandmasters. He helped Xu Xiaoyan awaken her Star Wheel Ice Staff and used the Spirit Ascension Platform to advance to two rings. 238 240 242

After defeating the beginner Spirit Ascension Platform's Dark-Gold Terrorclaw Bear, he obtained its Dark Gold Terrorclaw Right Palm Bone but chose to give it to Qian Renxue instead of retaining it himself. 243

Blacksmith Prodigy and Holy Spirit Cult Target

At age nine, Yue Hanmu passed the fourth-level blacksmith assessment through Thousand Refinement in one strike. His later Creation Spirit Forging and Evil Spirit suppression established him as a major threat to evil Soul Masters and caused the Holy Spirit Cult to intensify its efforts to kill him. 239 259

Shrek Academy admitted Yue Hanmu directly because of his Soul Forging advancement. He later revealed that the Ice and Fire Yin-Yang Well had been reclaimed by the God Realm and publicly argued that Tang San's interference with destiny, the Spirit Pagoda, and the Tang Sect's well had contributed to the planet's ecological decline. 262 268 269
