Background / History

Zhang Yang is a transmigrator born into a Martial Soul Hall family in Heding City. At his martial soul awakening, he manifests the unfamiliar M14 Lord, but his Innate Soul Power is only Level 1. While his parents are devastated by the result, Zhang Yang comforts his mother after discovering that his martial soul awakening has also triggered a pale-blue system interface visible only to him. 1

The system allows Zhang Yang to enter combat maps, search containers, defeat opponents, extract loot, and convert his gains into real-world resources. His extraction rewards grant experience that advances his martial soul level far more efficiently than ordinary cultivation. He first confirms that warehouse items can be withdrawn into reality when he extracts a Copper Soul Coin. 6 13

After rapidly reaching Level 10, Zhang Yang obtains his first soul ring with the help of his parents in the Star Dou Forest. His rise from Level 1 Innate Soul Power to a Level 10 soul master in three months draws attention from Heaven Dou City and Martial Soul Hall Academy, which recruits him as a specially admitted student. 24 27 29

At Martial Soul Hall Academy, Zhang Yang's extreme advancement makes him a subject of observation for Pope Bibi Dong, who compares his potential to Tang San's.
