Yu Tianshuo, Dugu Bo, and Dugu Yuan stood within the training grounds, looking at one another in silence.

Finally, Dugu Yuan could no longer hold back; he looked at Dugu Bo and spoke first.

"Old man, I know you've become younger and might be looking to find me a new mother, but at this age..."

Before Dugu Yuan could finish, Dugu Bo kicked him flying.

Yet, Dugu Yuan returned quickly. Rubbing his aching stomach, he glanced at Yu Tianshuo, as if struck by a thought, then looked back at Dugu Bo, his eyes gleaming as he asked, "Could it be that you're looking for a child bride for our little junior brother..."

Before he could finish, Yu Tianshuo swept his leg, knocking his senior brother to the ground and covering his mouth, terrified of what other outrageous nonsense might spill out.

As for why Yu Tianshuo did this, it was because Na'er, who had been resting in her room, had emerged and was staring blankly at the three of them, her eyes devoid of any emotion.

The three of them watched her in silence, and she watched them back, until Na'er finally made the first move.

They watched as she, draped in oversized robes, walked step by step toward Yu Tianshuo, finally reaching him and wrapping her arms around him.

This gesture left all three of them completely bewildered.

It wasn't until a female voice echoed in Yu Tianshuo's mind that he understood why she had acted this way.

"Find a quiet place. We need to talk."

Upon hearing this, Yu Tianshuo's expression stiffened, though he suppressed it instantly, masking his discomfort with a smile.

After telling his master and senior brother that he would take care of Na'er, Yu Tianshuo hurriedly led her—still clutching his waist—into his room.

Dugu Bo and Dugu Yuan were left to stare at each other, though Dugu Bo clearly sensed something was amiss; he said nothing and vanished from Dugu Yuan's sight in the next instant.

Only Dugu Yuan remained, scratching his head in total confusion.

The moment the door closed, Yu Tianshuo's right hand transformed into a dragon claw, instantly lunging for Na'er's head.

Before he could follow through, Na'er's Silver Dragon Spear parried his claw, and she leaped backward to put distance between them.

Only then did an exasperated female voice ring out in Yu Tianshuo's mind.

"What exactly do you think you're doing!!?"

Gu Yue was stunned; she had let Na'er project her consciousness into Yu Tianshuo's body specifically for a proper conversation. Who would have thought this guy wouldn't play by the rules and would resort to violence instead of talking?

What Gu Yue didn't know was that Yu Tianshuo had already been blindsided by the Ice Dragon King within his sea of consciousness. Now that the dignified Silver Dragon King had entered his mind, how could he not be shocked and furious?

His preemptive strike was an attempt to seize a hostage—a hostage he could actually communicate with.

To Yu Tianshuo's surprise, however, Na'er voluntarily retracted the Silver Dragon Spear and walked toward him.

Then, in a move he couldn't comprehend, she took his dragon claw and placed it back upon her own head.

Only after doing this did Gu Yue's weak voice reach Yu Tianshuo's mind.

"Like this, will you be willing to talk properly now?"

She fell silent, waiting for his response.

After a moment of brainstorming, Yu Tianshuo entered his own sea of consciousness, deciding to have a proper chat with her.

But the moment he entered, he couldn't keep his composure.

Gu Yue sat cross-legged in the sea of consciousness, watching him with a ghostly gaze, while the Fire Dragon King acted like a wronged little wife, sobbing and sniffling as he complained to Gu Yue about something.

Finally, Gu Yue grew annoyed and flicked her hand, sending the Fire Dragon King flying away.

Yu Tianshuo had no desire to see that wretched thing either, so he casually swiped his hand, opening a rift in the path of the retreating Fire Dragon King.

As the Fire Dragon King's screams faded, the two began their first negotiation.

Yu Tianshuo took the initiative and asked directly.

"What is your purpose in coming here?"

Gu Yue didn't hesitate to answer.

As she spoke, she took another look at Yu Tianshuo and nodded once more.

"I believe you now, but."
