At the sight of this face, all three Sovereigns froze for a moment. It felt incomparably familiar, as though they had seen it somewhere before.

"Yuanshi Tianzun?!" Vinnie was the first to recognize him. Obvious shock appeared on her cold, beautiful face.

The two giant demons also recalled the owner of that face. They had seen him in the files before—it was none other than Yuanshi Tianzun, who had returned to the Spirit Realm months ago.

Why was the dead Yuanshi Tianzun here?

Chromie Demon scrutinized him for several seconds with his scarlet demonic eyes, then said in a coarse, booming voice:

"Did you disguise yourself as Yuanshi Tianzun because it would be inconvenient to reveal your true identity before us? I'm very curious—who are you?"

"We'll find out if we try." The three-headed hellhound beside him opened its Inventory, pulled out a beautiful yet eerie horn-like mask, and placed it over the middle head.

This item corresponded to the abyssal banshee Siqila. By calling out a target's true name or Spirit Realm ID, she could cause them to mutate. One needed to reach level eight to control it.

The dog head wearing the mask looked at Zhang Yuanqing and issued an ethereal, distant call:

"Yuanshi Tianzun!"

Zhang Yuanqing's body, not far away, did not change at all.

Seeing this, Vinnie Berent withdrew her gaze, suppressing the astonishment in her heart. She seized the time to circulate the lightning spiritual power within her body, killing off the mutated cells and restraining the mutation spreading through her body.

She did not feel any joy at Yuanshi Tianzun's arrival. She believed he was most likely a high-ranking member of an orderly organization, here to seize the Eye of the Sky, which was why he had disguised himself as the dead Yuanshi Tianzun.
