Authority and Administration

The Immortal Court governs the vast Immortal Realm through the Immortal Rank System. Sect masters, meritorious elders, city lords, meritorious officials, and select contributing rogue immortals may be entered into the Immortal Registry and receive Court stipends. Entry is assessed through moral conduct, social contributions, and interpersonal connections rather than cultivation alone. 13

Organization

The Imperial City at Immortal Court Headquarters spans ten thousand miles and houses several billion people. Its central Immortal Hall represents the three powers governing the Immortal Realm. 241

Regional Branches

• The Immortal Court establishes branches in major immortal sects and cities. 13
• The Colored Cloud Immortal Domain's branch was stationed in East Floating City, one thousand miles from the Bamboo Spring Sect. 13
• Cases unresolved by East Floating Immortal Court would normally be escalated to the Colored Cloud Immortal Court; Lu Ya and Liu Xuanye's case instead drew direct intervention from the higher Southern Province Immortal Court. 155
• The East Floating Immortal District was later abolished, and Li Wuxie was conscripted to Immortal Court Headquarters. 226

Immortal Class Assembly

The Immortal Court hosts the Immortal Class Assembly to encourage exchanges of immortal arts and techniques, review the achievements of sects and cities, and strengthen cohesion among immortal classes. Immortal Court officials cannot participate. 180

The Southern Court assembly was relocated to the Colored Cloud Immortal Domain after a headquarters divination predicted danger on Southern Court Continent—the first known venue change in Immortal Court history caused by divination. 180

The Caiyun Immortal Class Assembly included an Immortal Court Forum, an exhibition of new techniques and products, and a multi-day Contest of Strength with unusually generous Court-issued rewards. 181

Court-Guarding Grand Formation

The Immortal Court Continent is protected by the Seven-Pillar Court-Guarding Grand Formation, which draws on the Seven God Pillars, foundations of the Three Realms universe. 252

• The formation blocks spatial immortal arts and was considered impossible for ordinary gods to force through. 252
• Its seven ports conduct stringent spiritual inspections; outside attackers are subjected to the Reverse Spiral's spiritual-energy drain. 252
• The Seven God Pillars had been stolen by the Seven Underworld Gods during the War of Nether Extermination three thousand years earlier and had not been replaced. 252

Xingtian Axe

The Xingtian Axe is the Heavenly Judgment Court's final invincible deterrent after the loss of the Seven God Seals and the Holy Maiden's inability to safely invoke her tribulation. 252

• It is unleashed from the Heavenly Judgment Court within Xingtian Pavilion. 252
• Activation requires the full cooperation of all seven Holy Arbiters. 252
• Without Lord Snowfall's leadership, the remaining six Holy Arbiters could not activate it. 252

• Lu Ya received an Immortal Rank Jade Slip and became an Immortal Court elite, despite having failed to qualify for the ranks in the game due to excessive killing. 13 15
• Lu Ya openly confronted Court-affiliated forces, captured Xu Yinglong aboard an Immortal Court ship, and later demanded Li Wuxie's seven ships. 43 45
