Background

Xiao Wu left the Star Dou Great Forest to enter human society, where a transformed soul beast could grow through exposure to human aura. Her purpose was to become strong enough to avenge her mother, who had been killed by human soul masters. At the forest’s edge, an unexplained voice warned her that Tang San’s father was a Titled Douluo and that Tang San might seek to make her into a soul ring; the warning left her terrified of Tang San and Tang Hao. 10

While living among humans, she initially encountered Tang San at Notting Academy but became increasingly resistant to him, fearing the danger associated with his father. By the time she reached Suotuo City, she was irritated by Tang San repeatedly involving her in his conflicts. 10 72
