"Thank you, Grandpa Fu. I won't stand on ceremony, then."
As Le Zhengyue spoke, he reached out and took the card. Having it would make his future cultivation much more convenient.
Watching him, Grandpa Fu smiled, then turned his gentle gaze toward the three of them.
"The old master said you were put through a lot today."
"He also said that the three of them have families of their own now and are already parents. There's no need for them to come to the old residence unless they have business here."
The old man paused. His meaning was clear: the three wouldn't be coming back to the old residence anymore—or, more precisely, they wouldn't show up unannounced without Le Zhengen's permission.
Hearing this, Le Zhengyue froze. He stared at Grandpa Fu in surprise, never expecting his grandfather to go this far for him.
No matter how you looked at it, his biological father was still Le Zhengen's son. Le Zhengyue himself had never imagined his grandfather would take things this far.
"Then please thank Grandpa for me."
"Ah, I'll be heading downstairs now. I won't keep you from your meal, young master Le Zhengyue."
The old man turned and gently closed the door.
Before long, his voice came from downstairs.
Hearing his words, Mother Le and Father Le were both surprised.
Mother Le in particular had already been dissatisfied with the old master. His words nearly made her explode with anger.
But they had come straight from the old master himself. Even she couldn't refuse or say anything against them.
Watching the three of them being sent away, Jiang Nannan looked excited, while Le Zhengyue's expression barely changed.
"We both need to focus on cultivation during this period. Once your Soul Ring reaches the three-ring level, I'll find a Soul Spirit that's right for you."
Le Zhengyue looked Jiang Nannan in the eye and spoke plainly.
By now, Jiang Nannan had learned what a Soul Spirit was.
Naturally, she longed for one. After all, it could increase the age of her Soul Rings.
Both her current Soul Rings were yellow, a configuration that was already quite good—and she had hunted them herself.
Still, it would be even better if she could raise their age to a thousand years, or even ten thousand.
Thinking of this, Jiang Nannan nodded.
Le Zhengyue waved a hand at her.
"Take Na'er downstairs to eat. Once she's full, take her back to her room to sleep."
"Tomorrow, I'll leave Na'er in your care again. Show her around and help her continue studying. I'll be going to the Spirit Pagoda."
As he spoke, Le Zhengyue pointed at Na'er.
Today's incident had been a wake-up call. If Jiang Nannan had been there, she could probably have brought Na'er straight upstairs.
But ordinary maids wouldn't dare offend Mother Le and Father Le, so they might end up getting in Na'er's way.
It would be safer to have Jiang Nannan look after her.
Hearing Le Zhengyue's words, Jiang Nannan hesitated for a moment, then nodded.
This would cut into some of her cultivation time, but she understood how important Na'er was to Le Zhengyue, so she didn't say anything more.
After the two left, Le Zhengyue sat silently and continued cultivating.
His Soul Power Level was rising quickly.
With the Nine-Colored Dragon Power activated, his perception of the surrounding energy far surpassed what ordinary Soul Power could achieve.
As energy from the surroundings continuously flowed into him, his Soul Power Level began to rise at an astonishing rate.
In just a few days, he had already reached level twenty-nine, just one step away from level thirty.
As he pondered, Le Zhengyue opened the Gu Raising System.
Looking at its interface, he saw that Huo Yuhao was still in Heaven Dou City and was most likely preparing to head for Shrek Academy.
At this point, Huo Yuhao should have been waiting for Beibei and Tang Ya. Le Zhengyue didn't know whether they had left yet, but he assumed the three had already met up.
Le Zhengyue had thoroughly monitored Tang Wulin, but he had no way to do the same with Huo Yuhao and Tang San.
There was no internet on the Second Continent. The only way to communicate was to send letters by Voyage Giant Ship.
A round trip alone took around two to four months.
So far, no firsthand information from his side had made it there. In this situation, all he could do was use the system to track Huo Yuyao's location.
He couldn't keep track of Huo Yuhao's current situation.
Tang San's location, however, had changed again. This time, he wasn't in Heaven Dou City but had gone straight to the Clear Sky Sect.
Perhaps because he had his memories, Tang San and Xiao Wu had returned to the Clear Sky Sect with Tang Hao.
Le Zhengyue didn't know the specifics; it was only his guess.
After all, at this stage, nowhere else could hold off Spirit Hall.
Even if the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect and the Blue Lightning Tyrant Dragon Clan joined forces, they would struggle to stop Spirit Hall's invasion.
Only the Clear Sky Sect, the true number one reclusive sect, could step in and barely halt Spirit Hall's advance.
With his memories restored, even if Tang Xiao hadn't regained his own, Tang San's displayed talent might still attract him.
Compared to those two, Tang Wulin's whereabouts were much easier to track.
He had been in Aolai City the whole time, perhaps still studying at Red Mountain Academy. He might not even have reached Eastsea City yet.
Of course, Le Zhengyue wasn't too concerned about these details. He intended to wait for information and see how things developed.
He could monitor Tang Wulin with complete certainty. His plan wasn't to go straight to Shrek Academy, but to find a way to visit Eastsea Academy and see whether he could travel with them.
His arrival might seem a little abrupt, but getting inside early would be a good thing. At the very least, it would make stabbing Tang Wulin in the back later a lot easier.
Thinking this over, Le Zhengyue sat quietly and continued cultivating.
The morning sun spilled down. After a quick breakfast, Le Zhengyue returned to the Spirit Pagoda.
The same Spirit Pagoda Master received him, though this time the man was even more courteous.
"Young master, Senior Le has arranged a cultivation room for you. It connects directly to the Spirit Ascension Platform, with no supervision and no monitoring."
"The Le family elders came and confirmed this yesterday."
The middle-aged man smiled as he spoke.
Though Le Zhengyue was a branch member of the Qiangu Family, he remained as warm and polite as ever toward the man.
After exchanging a few pleasantries, Le Zhengyue went up to the higher floors and entered the room prepared especially for him.
The room was simply furnished.
But Le Zhengyue didn't care about the furnishings. His cultivation was what mattered most to him.
He looked around, then went straight to the bed and selected the Primary Spirit Ascension Platform.
As it activated, a drowsy feeling swept through Le Zhengyue's consciousness. This was the Spirit Pagoda's hibernation mechanism.
But this level of mental pressure meant nothing to him. He remained fully conscious as he watched his awareness begin to sink.
If he hadn't agreed, the Spirit Ascension Platform wouldn't even have been able to draw his consciousness inside.
Once he gave his consent, his consciousness entered the Spirit Ascension Platform, arriving in this entirely new virtual world.
