Augusta is the Light Sovereign and a Law Ruler closely tied to the Augusta Family, whose current patriarch, Hanjin Augusta, is identified as his most successful and powerful son. The family is based on Ao Wei Island in the Light God Plane and competes with the Four Divine Beast Family across numerous planes. 80

He is also deeply connected to Destiny Sovereign Ofu. Though the two maintain separate personalities and normally do not interfere with each other’s thoughts, they are described as the same person; their deeper relationship is deliberately concealed from other Overgods. 146 174

After learning of Ailin and the Four Divine Beasts’ combined Innate Divine Ability, Augusta began involving himself in their dispute. False Mediation

Augusta entered the Heavenly Sacrifice Mountain Range claiming that he wanted to resolve Ailin’s dispute with the Four Divine Beasts for the sake of stability. The Four Divine Beasts rejected his intervention, recognizing his domineering nature and doubting his stated motives. 142

He later approached Ailin directly, promising support if the Four Divine Beasts acted against him. Augusta’s true purpose was to create an opportunity to involve himself in the conflict and eventually attack the Four Divine Beasts. 143

Alliance with Ailin

Augusta convinced Ailin to cooperate in a plan that would make the Four Divine Beasts the aggressors. He then secured Ofu’s commitment to block their combined Innate Divine Ability once, provided the Four Divine Beasts did not abandon their hostility toward Ailin. 149 153

Battle in Hell

Augusta arrived in Hell with Ailin and several Overgods from the Light God Plane, where the Four Divine Beasts and four elemental Rulers moved against them. Initially restrained by the elemental Rulers, Augusta ultimately revealed his hidden strength. 161 166

Loss of the Spoils

While Augusta was occupied, Beirut stole the Four Divine Beasts’ corpses and the Water Element Sovereign’s Sovereign Spark. Augusta discovered the disappearance of the bodies after the battle and became enraged, but Beirut had already taken the spoils into the Qingya Plane and refined the Wind Sovereign Spark. 167 168
