Lana Joins the Fun

"Hey, if you don't show me your real skills, you're really going to get killed by me!" Sun Yu flexed his wrists, then stood quietly in mid-air, looking down at Ace on the ground.

As Sun Yu had expected, Ace struggled to his feet, but his eyes were now blood-red, like a bloodthirsty beast that had lost its mind. His thick wolf claws dug deep into the ground, and his body began to swell right before everyone's eyes.

"Roar!"

A thunderous roar shook the heavens and the earth. The fangs of the wolf-man Ace, which should have long since atrophied, grew back. His body expanded at a speed visible to the naked eye, bursting through his clothes to reveal powerful limbs, looking just like a savage wolf from the jungle.

In the Dragon Ball world, the fangs and claws of beast-men had atrophied thousands of years ago, leaving them as true humanoids. But the person before him... no, he could no longer be called a person; he should be called a wolf. Clearly, Ace was in a state of atavism, reverted to a beast form, and not a shred of rational consciousness could be seen in his eyes.

"This makes no sense. Beast-men on Earth shouldn't be able to transform into a beast form!" Sun Yu felt his eyelids twitch and immediately shouted to the crowd standing dazed on the ground: "He's dangerous, run!"

Following Sun Yu's shout, the dazed crowd finally snapped out of their trance.

Run, that beast will eat people!

This was the first thought in many people's minds, and so the entire crowd immediately began to flee in terror, screaming, calling for help, and searching for loved ones. These sounds stimulated the nerves of the wolf-form Ace, who locked onto a lone young girl and pounced with a fierce glint in his eyes.

"Look out!"

A red light flashed in Sun Yu's eyes as he instantly activated his Double Tomoe Sharingan. In his desperation, he stared fixedly at Ace and unleashed Time Stasis.

If Sun Yu had tried to use Time Stasis to seal the time of the entire area as he had before, it would have had little effect on the incredibly powerful Ace. However, perhaps because Sun Yu's Sharingan had evolved into a Double Tomoe Sharingan, his control over Time Stasis was far superior to before, and the effect was focused intentionally or unintentionally solely on Ace.

Immediately, Ace, who had been as fast as lightning, felt as if he had plunged into a quagmire and could not move.

Sun Yu felt a surge of joy and immediately flew over to whisk the lone girl away, then watched coldly as Ace, in his beast form, broke free from the Time Stasis.

"Woooo..." A threatening low growl emanated from Ace's throat. He glared at Sun Yu with his blood-red wolf eyes, watching him vigilantly. Sun Yu intentionally left an opening, and sure enough, Ace bent his front paws and lunged forward like a bolt of lightning.

Although Ace's lunge was as fast as lightning, it was seen through by Sun Yu's Double Tomoe Sharingan. Twisting his body to dodge the pounce, Sun Yu reached out with his left hand to grip Ace's wolf head tightly, while his right hand formed a fist and smashed down fiercely.

With a few dull thuds, Ace's wolf head was left bleeding profusely. In pain, Ace twisted his body, and his iron tail, as thick as a bowl, whipped toward Sun Yu.

As Sun Yu dodged, Ace broke free from his restraint and quickly raised his massive wolf claws to strike at Sun Yu.

Although the Sharingan had captured Ace's attack, Sun Yu had reached his speed limit after dodging the iron tail and could only watch helplessly as the massive wolf claws slammed into his chest.

"Boom..."

Sun Yu was smashed into the cracked earth by Ace's claw. He had just struggled out of the ground when he was blocked by the suddenly appearing Lana.

"Red card, you're off. Kael, I'm subbing in, you go take a rest!"

Lana's sudden appearance startled Sun Yu, and the beast-form Ace also assumed a defensive posture, watching the two people in front of him vigilantly.

Sun Yu's eyes returned to normal, and he said somewhat reluctantly: "Hey, Sister Lana, I haven't lost yet, why are you subbing in! And where did you leave Bulma?"

Lana flexed her wrists, pointed to the roof of the East City Grand Department Store, and said: "Bulma is on the roof. I've been itching for a fight after watching you for so long. If you don't want to get beaten up by me, get out of here!"

Fine, fine, you're my sister, you're the boss. Sun Yu shrugged helplessly, gave a "be careful" warning, and then flew to the roof of the East City Grand Department Store to find Bulma.

Seeing Sun Yu fly away, Lana looked at the vigilant Ace on the side, smiled slightly, and said: "Little wolf, you'd better be careful. I won't be soft-hearted like that idiot, that blockhead Kael!"

Feeling the powerful pressure radiating from Lana, the beast-form Ace decided to strike first, lunging forward and swiping a claw at Lana.

Lana looked at the pouncing Ace, a mocking sneer appearing at the corner of her mouth, and then swung a heavy punch at Ace's head. The sound of the punch was thunderous; upon impact, Ace's massive body seemed to hit a wall of solid bronze and was sent rebounding back. The moment he landed, Ace ignored the pain in his head and repeated his old trick, twisting his body to sweep his iron tail at Lana.

However, Lana seemed not to have noticed Ace at all, remaining standing in place, motionless.

"Sister Lana, dodge!" Sun Yu, watching this scene from the roof, felt his heart skip a beat. If that tail hit her head-on, even a Saiyan's physique wouldn't be able to take it.

Bulma, in Sun Yu's arms, couldn't help but cover her eyes; she couldn't bear to see her favorite Sister Lana get hurt.

Just as Ace's iron tail was about to sweep into Lana, she lifted her hand to block it nonchalantly. The iron tail, which had been moving with the force of a rainbow, stopped abruptly in Lana's hand as if someone had cast a binding spell—she had caught the iron tail barehanded!

"Heh, a tail? This Concubine has one too!" Lana had completely entered an excited state. She pivoted sharply on her right foot and swung the tail that had been wrapped around her waist.

"Snap!"

A crisp sound echoed throughout the commercial district. Lana's tail, like a steel whip, lashed across Ace's wolf face. A bloody mark immediately appeared on his face, and for the first time, a feeling called fear appeared in those wolf eyes filled with the desire to kill.

"Hiss..." Sun Yu watched from afar and couldn't help but gasp. Honestly, never provoke Lana; this girl's strikes are way too ruthless!

Although Ace's body was already trembling slightly, Lana clearly had no intention of letting him off. Having finally found a wolf-meat punching bag, wouldn't it be a waste not to have a good time beating him up today?

"Haaaa..."

Lana suddenly began to erupt with her own aura. A terrifying power, like a collapsing mountain or a reversing river, swept over the area. Lana's combat power of 120,000 seemed to form a hurricane, sweeping through the empty commercial street.

"Flame Fist!" A high-pitched voice rang out. Energy gathered around Lana, forming scorching heat waves; at a glance, it felt as if one were standing in a sea of fire.

"Is this Flame Fist a technique Lana developed herself?" Sun Yu muttered in shock.
