Mirai Uchiha is currently at the level of a genin, ranking among the best of his peers. The other ninja is also a genin, though he is three years Mirai Uchiha's senior. It is hard to say who would win in a real fight, but Mirai Uchiha carries the name of the Uchiha Clan, granting him trump cards and advantages that the other genin lacks.

Seeing Mirai Uchiha strike his opponent down at the very start of the skirmish, Kushina jumped up in excitement. In contrast, the other three brats stared at Mirai Uchiha in disbelief. They could not fathom how a student like him could defeat a ninja.

"I'll kill you!" The genin caught his breath, and upon hearing Kushina's cheers, his face flushed a liver-colored purple. He felt belittled; Kushina's cheering sounded like mockery. Before he even stood up, he hurled three Kunai directly at Kushina.

"Bastard, you're courting death!"

Mirai Uchiha had intended to let it go, as they were only children and not worth the trouble. However, upon turning back, he saw the genin shamelessly launching a sneak attack on Kushina, who stood frozen in place, unable to react to the sudden assault.

To save Kushina, he had to knock them out of the air with his own Kunai. However, how could a One-Tomoe Sharingan predict the trajectories of three separate projectiles? Mirai Uchiha broke into a cold sweat. As the Kunai drew closer to Kushina, his pupils contracted sharply before rapidly dilating. The previously static One-Tomoe Sharingan began to spin violently.

"I see it!" In an instant, Mirai Uchiha felt the flight speed of the Kunai slow down, and he spotted their weak points. Without a second thought, he whipped out three Kunai and threw them.

Mirai Uchiha's Kunai struck the blades about to pierce Kushina. Although there were three, the sound was singular; all six Kunai collided at the same time, then grazed past Kushina's right cheek.

The Two-Tomoe Sharingan possesses an inherent genjutsu effect. The moment the genin's eyes met Mirai Uchiha's, his face went slack. His pupils rapidly dimmed, losing all luster, and reflected a pair of scarlet eyes with two eerie, swirling tomoe.

"Cruelty to an enemy is cruelty to oneself. I will not make that mistake a second time, so please, go die now." Mirai Uchiha drew a Kunai and walked slowly toward the genin.

The recent events reminded Mirai Uchiha of what kind of world this was, and recalled the words a woman had spoken to him before his death in his previous life, along with her heartless face. Mercy only invites an enemy to push further; it only causes pain to those you love and joy to your foes.

"All unfairness is caused by a lack of one's own strength. Your death is your own fault, and making me a murderer is also your fault. Take that mistake with you to hell!" Reaching the genin, Mirai Uchiha held the Kunai against his throat.

Sshhh!

A spray of blood erupted from the genin's carotid artery, splashing onto the white snow in a striking display. The excruciating pain of the severed artery snapped the ninja out of the genjutsu. He clutched his bleeding neck, pointed at Mirai Uchiha with a gurgle, and collapsed onto the snow, dying with eyes wide in terror. In his final moment, he realized how close humanity truly is to death.

The three children had been scared witless by the scene, standing frozen and trembling in place. At this moment, Mirai Uchiha turned to look at them, the blood-stained Kunai still gripped in his hand.

"He... he killed someone!"

Terrified, the three children scrambled away, wailing and screaming about the murder.

Mirai Uchiha ignored the fleeing children and looked at Kushina, who was also stunned, staring at him and unable to speak.
