Staying at Tsunade's House!

"Little guy, what's your name? Whose child are you? I'll take you home."

Tsunade crouched down, looked into Shen Ye's eyes, and spoke gently.

"My name is Shen Ye, but... I don't have a home. My mom and dad are missing." Shen Ye put on a pitiful expression.

"No home? This child looks so nice. How could he not have a home?"

"It's wartime now. Lots of people have been killed or injured, and there are many people without homes."

"Ah, poor child..."

The many kunoichi sighed one after another and looked at the little Shen Ye with pity.

As Tsunade watched Shen Ye, it felt as though a thorn had pierced the softest part of her heart!

Wasn't she homeless too?

Ever since her family, her beloved, and her younger brother had died, she had been left without a home.

"Then you can stay at my place. There's an empty room there."

Tsunade said suddenly.

She felt that this child was just like her younger brother. She had a duty to take him in!

"Huh? I can stay at your place?"

Shen Ye first looked thrilled, but then put on a sensible expression and said, "Wouldn't that be bad? I'd only be a bother to you. I'd better not."

"No! You have to stay with me!"

Tsunade said earnestly, "I'll also go explain your situation to Lord Hokage. After that, if you want to, you can go to the Ninja Academy."

"Really? I can go to school?"

"All right, Lady Tsunade! If you run into Lord Jiraiya, give him a good beating! We can't let this little guy suffer without getting justice!"

The pretty, adorable kunoichi clenched their fists and spoke righteously.

"Let's go."

Tsunade crouched down, scooped Shen Ye into her arms, and said, "Don't be scared, little guy. I'll take you down!"

"Mm! I'm not scared!"

Shen Ye was over the moon.

With Tsunade holding him like this, what did he have to be scared of?

Clinging to Tsunade's slender waist, Shen Ye silently activated his God Steal skill.

Tsunade was one of the Sannin. If he could steal one of her divine skills, that would be amazing!

Feeling Shen Ye pressed tightly against her, Tsunade's pretty face flushed slightly. But he was just a child, so she didn't think much of it.

Holding Shen Ye, she leaped down and landed steadily on the ground.

"Come on. Let's go see Lord Hokage first."

Tsunade took Shen Ye by the hand and went to see the Third Hokage, telling him she wanted to adopt Shen Ye.

The Third Hokage thought Shen Ye looked cute, and after examining him, confirmed that he was indeed an ordinary person—not some little spy sent by the Empire. So he agreed to Tsunade's request and also allowed Shen Ye to attend the Ninja Academy as a transfer student.

Afterward, Tsunade took Shen Ye home to sleep.

In the early morning, Shen Ye stretched, yawned, and woke up feeling wonderful.

"That was great!"

Rubbing his eyes, Shen Ye thought about how he had spent the whole night sleeping in Tsunade's arms. It had been warm, soft, and fragrant!

She was only a little girl now, and a head shorter than Shen Ye. The moment she saw him coming over, she panicked.

"Don't be scared, little girl. I just wanted to find a seat. I'm Shen Ye. What's your name?" Shen Ye grinned and looked at Mikoto with a smile.

Seeing how friendly Shen Ye was, Mikoto relaxed. She said softly, "My name is Uchiha Mikoto. Please take care of me."

"Mikoto? That's a really lovely name!"

Shen Ye's eyes shifted as he said with a smile, "I heard you're the class genius. I should be the one asking you to look after me. I don't know any jutsu yet. Could you teach me?"

Seeing the sincerity on Shen Ye's face, Mikoto felt too embarrassed to refuse and nodded.

Just as she was about to say something, a few boys walked over and glared at Shen Ye. "Hey, kid, get lost! You don't belong here!"
