While Zul'ra had Sabra train the Sunbearers, he also commissioned skilled coppersmiths to forge a batch of bronze mirrors, engraving inscriptions around their edges. These mirrors, after being placed on the altar to bask in the sunlight, were then given to the Sunbearers to wear as sacred symbols. Since they weren't Paladin, they naturally couldn't wear holy contracts. 🎅💘 ✌🐚

Just as Zul'ra was diligently training the Sunbearers in Zul'Aman, the weather turned bitterly cold. The twenty years since the Dark Portal were slowly coming to an end. In the final days of this harsh winter, Mount Hyjal in the north of Kalimdor in the west was shrouded in desolation and bleakness, for demons and the Undead had arrived.

Demons and Undead invaded the Kalimdor. At this critical juncture, all races—humans, Orcs, Night Elves, Tauren, Trolls, Dwarves, Gnomes, and others—set aside their old grudges and united to form an alliance to fight the invaders. However, they failed because the Burning Legion possessed a great demon that no mortal could rival: Archimonde the Defiler.

Archimonde possessed a massive body the size of a small mountain. He not only had immense strength but also extraordinary wisdom. He commanded his subordinates, Nathrezim, to use an evil magical artifact to corrupt a large number of Kalimdor's native inhabitants, turning those creatures into the Legion's followers in an attempt to destroy the Allied resistance.

After finalizing his battle plan, Archimonde headed towards his predetermined objective: the Twin Peaks of Mount Hyjal, where the World Tree Nordrassil resided—a name in the Kaldorei language that translates to "Crown of the Sky."

Nordrassil's seeds come from the ancient Mother Tree G'Hanir, a divine tree that bloomed with all kinds of flowers and bore all kinds of fruits. This divine tree withered during the Burning Legion's invasion ten thousand years ago, and Nordrassil was later planted to cover the second Well of Eternity.

During the War of the Ancients, the original Well of Eternity exploded as the continent crumbled, but a legendary Night Elves preserved several vials of its Waters of the Well of Eternity. Half of these Waters of the Well of Eternity were used to create a second Well of Eternity, and the Sunwell in Quel'Thalas was also made from one of those vials.

The completion of the second Well of Well of Eternity terrified the Kaldorei, who had narrowly escaped the catastrophe. The Burning Legion's invasion was due to the arrogance of Azshara, the last queen of the Kaldorei Empire. Her obsession with arcane Arcane attracted the Burning Legion, who then used the Well of Eternity to bring demons into the world.

Overwhelmed with fear, the Kaldorei summoned the Dragon Aspect, Alexstrasza, the Alexstrasza, who planted Nordrassil on the Well of Well of Eternity using acorns from her own treasured Mother Tree. Together with the other two dragon kings present, Nozdormu, the Bronze Dragon Aspect, and Ysera, the Green Dragonflight Queen, they bestowed blessings upon Nordrassil in recognition of the Kaldorei's bravery in the War of the Ancients.

Alexstrasza promised that as long as Nordrassil stood, the Kaldorei's bodies would never be plagued by disease. Nozdormu declared that as long as Nordrassil existed, the Kaldorei would never age. Ysera bridged her dream kingdom with Nordrassil and allowed the Druid to share the Emerald Dream, but they had to be responsible for healing the world's wounds within the dream.

Archimonde has now set foot on the Kalimdor, heading towards the Well of Well of Eternity beneath Nordrassil. However, his journey has not been as smooth as he had imagined, as not only has the combined forces of humans, Orcs, and Night Elves delayed his progress, but countless strange figures have also appeared to obstruct him.

Despite encountering obstacles, Archimonde used his intellect and strength to destroy those who stood in his way, crushing human sentries with his massive body and then leveling the Orcs camp. During this battle, he saw Thrall and mocked the Orcs ' weakness in Common.

Enraged by Archimonde's mockery, Thrall unleashed a Chain Lightning, but before he could see the result, Jaina, who had arrived, teleported him away. Archimonde arrived at the Twin Peaks, where the Night Elves had already erected a magical gate to protect the World Tree.

Archimonde cast a spell, easily crushing the magical gate, and then climbed Twin Peaks. He ascended along the towering trees that reached into the Twin Peaks, his body growing larger and larger with each step, until he reached the height of a mountain.

As Archimonde climbed the giant tree, he did not notice that from a cliff somewhere on Mount Hyjal, a long horn sounded. In the quiet forest of Mount Hyjal, countless firefly-like orbs of light flew out from the roots and ancient trees. Their bodies were like blue vapor, and within them were the hazy faces of Elves children, like little Elves.

The little Elves flew in droves to Archimonde's side. The great demon sensed the power World Tree World Tree and was preparing to forcibly destroy it to obtain the power of the Well of Eternity. He only awoke when he was enveloped by firefly-like blue Elves, but it was too late. His massive, mountain-like body was now covered by thousands of Elves, each Elves them beginning to glow.

As the light reached its peak, Archimonde was enveloped in a burst of pure light. If it were just this light, he would be fine. However, the self-destruction of the Elves triggered a chain reaction. Nordrassil's tree trunk suddenly split open, and a surge of immense energy burst forth.

The energy spread outward, forming a violent storm. Archimonde's flesh turned to ash and fell off in the energy storm. The forest within several miles of the Twin Peaks was completely scorched earth. The canopies of the trees that stretched high into the sky in Nordrassil were stripped bare, leaving only black branches.

In a scorched wasteland, the massive skeleton of a demon lay sprawled on the dark roots of Nordrassil. The energy emanating from it still scattered in all directions. Some of the demons that were fighting across the Kalimdor were caught in this energy flow and forcibly pulled out of the world by an invisible force, while the rest scattered in all directions.

The wind did not stop because of the demon's defeat; it carried the news of the demon's failure in all directions. When this wind blew over Zul'Aman, Zul'ra was standing on the Sacred Pool Peak, watching the Sunbearers train in the afterglow of the setting sun. The wind blew up his loose hair tied on his head.

"Did we win!" Zul'ra felt the wind blowing from the west, and the heavy feeling in his heart completely dissipated. At the same time, the Elemental Spirits and the spirits of nature gave him unparalleled joy, the joy of surviving a calamity.

The reactions of the Elemental Spirits and the spirits of nature, coupled with the current situation, all told him that the Holy War at Mount Hyjal had ended in victory for mortals. But what kind of turbulent undercurrents were hidden beneath this victory? Zul'ra was eager to go to Kalimdor and ask Thrall, who had personally participated in the battle, about what had happened!
