Meeting Canceled
The day of negotiation with Jaina came soon. Sanra asked Eitrigg to handle the affairs in Orgrimmar, and asked Saurfang to lead the manpower in Orgrimmar. He took Bain Holler, as well as the female orc Bered, the tauren Ruta, the troll Radakin and others as guards to go to the meeting. ♟☹ ❻9 🍮🎈
Thrall and Jaina's meeting was a secret affair, not announced to the outside world. Even the location was kept secret, not chosen as a safe place, but a mysterious spot on the coast of the the Barrens. All indications suggest that Thrall entrusted the matter to her with a profound purpose.
Zul'ra temporarily took over the matter. In accordance with Thrall's agreement, she did not notify the Roaring Camp in the the Barrens, but instead led her men to set off quietly, arriving at the agreed location a day early to wait.
Just as expected, after Zul'ra arrived at the location, she and her men quietly hid to the side. Before they even saw Jaina, they spotted a group of Orcs and Trolls lying in ambush near the agreed-upon location. It goes without saying who they were ambushing.
Zul'ra showed no mercy to the Orcs and Trolls who had been lying in ambush. She transformed herself into a human and stepped forward, ordering Banehollow to capture the leading Orcs, and then sent Ruta to block the Orcs and Trolls.
"Tell me your name, and why are you here?" Zul'ra asked, looking down at the Orcs being trampled on the ground like a chicken by Banehollow.
"Boks, I am the centurion of the Roaring Camp. I am loyal to the Horde and have come here to carry out a mission concerning the future of the Horde," the green Orcs replied swiftly, baring his fangs.
"So, what's the mission?" Zul'ra looked at the Trolls and Orcs being watched by Ruta and the others. Those guys were completely bewildered by the sudden appearance of their Horde companions and clearly didn't know what was going on.
"For the future of the Horde, we have been ordered to come here to kill a human, Jaina Proudmoore." Boks barely managed to look up at Zul'ra.
"Why kill that human? Was it the Warchief's order?" Zul'ra then asked.
"This is for the future of the Horde," Boks argued.
"So, this isn't the Warchief's order, but rather your unique insight into the Horde's future!" Zul'ra opened her arms wide.
"A true Horde must serve the Burning Legion if it wants to rise to power." Boks wasn't exactly bright, but he bluntly stated his opinion. The Orcs and Trolls he brought with him showed no change in expression, clearly having grown accustomed to such pronouncements.
"Very well, I heard you. Now, you are suspected of assassinating the Warchief, Radakin. Take him into custody." Sanra beckoned to Radakin, the Darkspear troll druid, and then looked at the trolls and orcs brought by Box.
"Beiruid, you'll be in charge of Boks's men for the time being."
"Alright, I'll take care of this now. You all listen to me. Anyone who's unhappy can come up and talk to my axe. I welcome Mak'gora." Beiruid stepped forward, axe in hand, and sized up the Orcs and Trolls in front of her. She spoke in a gruff voice, but no one dared to confront her directly.
After Sanra finished dealing with the matter, he prepared to wait for Jaina, but instead of Jaina, he was met by his trusted warrior, Major Lorena, who told Sanra that something had happened in Theramore: the Minister of the Interior, Christopher, was suspected of murdering the Queen of Theramore and had been captured.
"So Jaina didn't go to Ashenvale, did she?" Zul'ra was a little annoyed. He had Boks, who was trying to assassinate the Warchief, and Christoph, who was trying to assassinate the Queen, in Theramore. This was too much of a coincidence. Thrall wasn't making him come all this way for nothing, and then he and Jaina would secretly meet in Ashenvale!
"Ashenvale? No, Lady Jaina has some urgent business to attend to, so she won't arrive until tomorrow. Warchief hasn't come either, has he?" Lorena, a human woman with an extremely strong face, glanced around and indicated that Thrall hadn't arrived yet either.
"Unfortunately, the Warchief went to Ashenvale on important business, and I took over the negotiations here. However, we also encountered some treacherous individuals who attempted to assassinate the Warchief." Zul'ra breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing the female colonel's words. She was glad that her trip hadn't been in vain. If that brat Thrall had dared to trick her like that, she would have definitely made him pay.
"The Warchief isn't coming in person?" Lorena's expression hardened at Zul'ra's words. In her view, Thrall's failure to arrive beforehand was already impolite, and to break his promise to negotiate with Jaina was even more unforgivable. If someone else had come instead, it would have been even more difficult to forgive.
"Can't I do it?" Zul'ra looked at the female colonel in her armored helmet and battle robe embroidered with an anchor pattern. He could sense the reason for her displeasure, and his expression turned cold.
In terms of rank, Jaina is not the leader of the Alliance, while Thrall is the recognized Warchief of the Horde. The two are not equals. Zul'ra believes that he, as the King of the Amani, is equal to Jaina, as the Queen of Theramore, and there is nothing wrong with such a conversation.
"Who are you? Excuse me, Zul'ra Jin, I mean, your identity?" Lorena looked at the now indifferent Zul'ra, somewhat at a loss. She was a person of moderate importance, but she presented herself with the superior attitude of a human. She was equally arrogant towards the Trolls in front of her, and cautiously inquired about his identity.
"If you don't understand who you're talking to, you should ask the question first. Go back and ask your queen now, and see if I'm worthy to negotiate with her?" Zul'ra was not happy with Lorena's superior attitude as a human, and she was not optimistic about this negotiation. She used this as an excuse to get angry.
"You..." Lorena looked at the Trolls had suddenly become angry, feeling even more at a loss, aggrieved and indignant. You only told me your name before, saying that you were the representative of the Warchief, but who knew which one you were!
"Go back! Tell Jaina that I have to go back to Orgrimmar first and can't wait for her to come tomorrow. As for the peace talks between the Horde and Theramore, let's schedule another time to discuss them!" Zul'ra said without further ado, and also canceled the meeting with Jaina.
"I'm sorry, Zul'ra Jin, if anything happens to me..." Lorena's expression changed as she listened to Zul'ra's words. If her attitude led to malicious retaliation and manipulation, thereby destroying the peace between the Horde and Theramore, she would feel guilty for the rest of her life.
"There's nothing to apologize for. I'll head back now. Goodbye, Colonel Lorena. Please be sure to convey my words to Jaina." Zul'ra interrupted Lorena and left first. He wasn't optimistic about this meeting to begin with. At this stage, it wasn't advisable for the Horde to sever Goblins and make any agreements with Theramore on its own.
