The Situation
During his months in Silvermoon City, Zul'ra frequently interacted with M'uru and the Sin'dorei Archmage, learning from them how to use the Light and Arcane. He has now become quite proficient and can use teleportation independently. Due to the urgency of the upheaval in Lordaeron, he was the first to return to Zul'Aman alone.
Upon returning to Zul'Aman, Zul'ra immediately obtained real-time, specific information from Broken-Tooth, Lostro, and Maki. Amani, due to the chaos of the situation, could not keep track of the Scarlet Crusade's progress, but anyone who wasn't blind could see the changes in Lordaeron.
Due to the split within the Scarlet Crusade, the the Scourge forces are now on the rise. The actions are not only carried out by the the Scourge's Undead armies, but also by a large number of Scourge spies hidden among humans who have instigated the Scourge. Both the Scarlet Crusade and the Argent Dawn have suffered heavy losses as a result.
Lordaeron's already dwindling population plummeted, and the Scarlet Enclave of Tyr's Hand on the eastern coast was reduced to utter ruins.
Amani, along with fishermen and farmers, reported seeing enormous floating pyramid structures of the Undead, surrounded by Undead, at sea and in the wild.
If the upheavals in Lordaeron evoked a sense of schadenfreude, then the floating pyramids sent chills down one's spine. The Scourge now possessed flying fortresses, meaning they could land unexpectedly on top of any enemy.
After listening to Amani's series of timely intelligence reports, Zul'ra then shared the intelligence she had obtained from Silvermoon City and Northrend, which greatly surprised the trio. Broken-Tooth proposed to convene an Amani-Shuri meeting to discuss the matter, but this was directly opposed by Zul'ra.
"We'll discuss the matter ourselves, and then we can issue the order directly to the council. There's no need to consult with them. Consulting with them on everything is too much of a waste of time." Zul'ra wanted the council to facilitate the coordination of Amani, not for the council to teach him how to coordinate Amani.
"So what are your thoughts?" Lostro, Maki, and Broken-Tooth exchanged glances and then acquiesced. Sometimes they felt that those councilors took themselves too seriously.
"The coming period will be extremely challenging; we may face far more than just the threat of Scourge." Zul'ra's expression turned slightly grim.
"Alliance?" Maki's eyes drooped slightly. The flags of their faction had already been raised long ago; they all understood what they were about to face.
"Yes, although we don't know how likely it is, we must anticipate the enemy and make preparations to the greatest extent possible. We cannot rely on luck. In order to deal with the grim situation, I have agreed to Quel'Thalas's request for an alliance. They are already seeking to join the Horde, and the Forsaken have already joined the Horde will also be our allies." Zul'ra nodded.
"This is also necessary. Whether it's the Scourge or Alliance, we need as many allies as possible to cooperate," Lostro agreed.
"But ultimately we still have to rely on ourselves. Nobody knows how strong the the Scourge are, and the Alliance's strength is also unclear. The world situation is still far from over, but we must strengthen our intelligence operations," Zul'ra requested.
"I will do it." Broken-Tooth nodded quickly; she would take care of this matter.
"Because the situation is not very clear, there is one point I want to make particularly clear: the Scourge are our enemies, and the Alliance is our opponent. You understand what I mean!" Zul'ra said, Broken-Tooth, Lostro, and Maki nodded quickly.
"That's good. To combat the Scourge, we need as many allies as possible. Therefore, when people come to us for help, we need to think carefully and try to build a united front against the Scourge." Zul'ra was slightly satisfied when the three nodded.
"Zul'ra Jin, I need to make something clear: our reserves are running low." Broken-Tooth understood Zul'ra's meaning: to provide as much support as possible to neutral parties capable of combating the Scourge. However, the situation in Amani was far less clear.
"In which aspects?" Zul'ra wasn't surprised by Broken-Tooth's words, after all, Amani had been continuously contributing resources after the Dark Portal, and no matter how much wealth they had, it wouldn't be enough.
"Food, weapons, and other supplies are almost gone." Broken-Tooth looked slightly ashamed; as the coordinator for Amani, the lack of supplies made her feel ashamed.
"How long can this last? Can we replenish our supplies after the summer harvest? And can we handle the agreement with Quel'Thalas?" Zul'ra frowned slightly.
"We can manage to settle the agreement with Quel'Thalas after the summer harvest, but our lives are likely to become difficult."
"It seems like we're running out of supplies quickly. How many gold coins are left in the vault? Can we buy some supplies from the Goblins?" Zul'ra asked.
"We still have three million Arathor Gold Coin. If we buy them from the Goblins, it might cost us a considerable amount," Broken-Tooth, somewhat troubled.
"When you get back, check the accounts carefully. Don't be afraid of paying the price. Money is meant to be spent; you can only make money if you know how to spend it." Zul'ra raised her eyebrows slightly as she listened to Broken-Tooth's words. The amount of reserves in the vault seemed a bit off.
"Yes." Faced with Zul'ra's order, Broken-Tooth nodded, indicating that he would arrange to purchase supplies as soon as possible.
"In that case, our current problems shouldn't be too serious. After that, we will order martial law to be declared domestically and prepare to deal with the the Scourge," Lostro decided.
"We also need to pay attention to the agricultural harvest and planting; grain is the most important thing," Maki added, receiving nods from Lostro and Broken-Tooth. They couldn't let the Scourge the Scourge delay the farming season. Natural the Scourge weren't scary; what was scary was facing them on an empty stomach.
"Yes, everyone's in good shape. It seems we've already secured a 3-point victory against the the Scourge and the Alliance." Zul'ra looked at Lostro, Maki, and Broken-Tooth, who were working in an orderly manner, and couldn't help but smile as she spoke, making the three of them feel a little embarrassed.
"Speaking of which, we've won three points against the Alliance and the the Scourge, but what about the Dakkalai in Northrend?" Zul'ra asked, looking at the three embarrassed individuals. While things were chaotic in the Eastern Kingdoms, what about the Ice Trolls in Northrend?
"This is easy to solve. We can help them as much as we can. Because of the changing situation, the population of Hinterlands has decreased since we joined the Horde. There is also a lot of land in Arathi Highlands and Southern Highlands. We can bring those Ice Trolls who are willing to come and live here." Broken-Tooth's gaze slanted slightly.
"While we are powerless to combat the Scourge, we can provide the Dakkalai with some weapons and equipment, offer them sufficient advice, and help them protect Zuldrak," Maki nodded in agreement.
"In return for receiving their help, they can provide us with some free voluntary labor, or Northrend specialties, such as timber, ore, and fur..." Lostro scratched his nose.
"I feel that Amani's future is very bright, and our victory seems to be in sight." Zul'ra looked at Broken-Tooth, Maki, and Lostro and grinned. These three guys didn't need to say anything; they had their eyes on Zuldrak's population, land products, and labor force. They've matured, haven't they!
"..." Almost simultaneously, Broken-Tooth, Maki, and Lostro all revealed knowing smiles, and then the four of them left. Three of them were responsible for supervising the actions of the Aman'Shuli Council and Amani, while Zul'ra went to handle his own affairs.
