Many Ways to Make Them Take the Initiative
Magatha Grimtotem threw a very hot potato at them, and Zul'ra had to take it on and compromise with him. This was because the Horde's central authority could not function without Shu'halo's support, and the Goblins ' infringement on Mulgore's interests was tantamount to infringing on the Horde's interests as well.
After taking on the problem, Zul'ra didn't have time to meet with Gamon, who was on his way to Thunder Bluff. He could only take the airship back to Orgrimmar first to find Cairne Bloodhoof and the others to solve the problem together.
Magena was extremely annoyed that she had to take off again so soon after arriving at Thunder Bluff, because she had just wanted to sample the Shu'halo people's cuisine. Unfortunately, she couldn't stay in Thunder Bluff alone and had to leave with Zul'ra's airship.
"After we arrive in Orgrimmar, I will send someone to take you to Theramore. What do you think?" Zul'ra asked Magena across from her, slightly troubled as she pondered the matter.
"It doesn't matter anyway. You have too many worries right now, and you can't help me anyway," Magena replied indifferently, neither objecting nor supporting.
"Then it's settled!" Zul'ra didn't care about the female mage anymore. He had a lot on his plate, and it was best to get rid of this old man as soon as possible to avoid him causing trouble later.
After the zeppelin landed in Orgrimmar, Zul'ra immediately contacted Thrall, asking him to arrange for someone to take Magena to Theramore and, while she was at it, to deliver the news of the demons of Poison Mist Peak to Jaina, hoping to use this opportunity to promote a joint operation between the Horde and Theramore. Thrall readily agreed.
After informing Thrall and making arrangements for Magena, Zul'ra turned to discuss with Cairne Bloodhoof how to handle the Venture Company. Of course, he selectively concealed Magatha Grimtotem's unpleasant attitude, as it would be risky for him to speak of it alone, as this could incite conflict within the Horde.
"Those Goblins, like Magatha Grimtotem, are never peaceful. They're always digging things up everywhere, disrupting Earth Mother's natural harmony." Cairne Bloodhoof, unaware of the full situation, learned about the Goblins from Zul'ra, and his tone was somewhat resentful. This didn't mean he didn't value Thunder Bluff's interests; it simply meant he prioritized the Horde's interests.
"But you have to admit, they're very good at making money," Saurfang said sullenly. The Horde still owes the Goblins money!
"I've heard of Risk Trade Investment Company. They're not on the same side as Steamwheedle Cartel and Bilgewater Cartel. How are we going to handle this? Just sit by and watch them?" Lirath asked hesitantly, glancing at the other seven people as he spoke, not daring to express his opinion easily.
"We've already learned about Gazlowe's attitude from Magatha Grimtotem. Venture Capital Trading Company is an emerging force, and neither Steamwheedle Cartel nor Bilgewater Cartel likes them. Therefore, I think we can try to contain them, which is also what Magatha Grimtotem wants to do," Zul'ra said.
"How do we stop it? With our fists?" Saurfang asked, slightly tempted yet hesitant. Was this going to be a fight?
"It's best not to do that. We can handle these things peacefully," Hamuul Runetotem advised.
"After all, they are infringing on the Horde's interests by digging on the Horde's territory. Given the nature of Goblins, they won't let go of the profits they've already gained," Moira said coldly.
"Then let him take the initiative, but we can't give up on peaceful means. After all, conflict is bad for everyone. Let's notify them first and let them choose: either leave or pay up." Zul'ra followed up on Moira's words and offered his opinion. The Horde needs peaceful development now and can't completely break with the other side, but we also need to have some means.
"What if they don't agree?" Hamuul Runetotem glared at Zul'ra, sensing that Zul'ra seemed to have no intention of resolving the matter peacefully.
"If they won't do it, then use some means to notify Ratchet and Gadgetzan, and have them seize all of the Venture Company's supplies. I think they shouldn't mind. On the other hand, also tell Magatha Grimtotem to block all the passages through Mulgore under the pretext of preventing smuggling, preventing supplies from passing through, driving away the wild beasts in the area, and controlling the water source. If they don't take the initiative, then starve and thirst them until they do."
Zul'ra's words were cold and decisive. Faced with his words, the people around him couldn't help but exchange glances, their eyes filled with the same surprise: So this matter could be resolved in this way?
"I think this can be done." Saurfang was a little stunned, but after coming to his senses, he felt it was a good idea. He was an Orcs, Orcs was never afraid of fighting, but he was cautious about war and had made too many mistakes in the past.
"Agreed. Leave the tasks of controlling the wild beasts and securing the water source to me." Hamuul Runetotem followed, volunteering for the task.
"Should we handle things with the Goblins?" Lirath tentatively asked.
"That's without a doubt; isn't that what you do—diplomacy?" Cairne Bloodhoof said with a smile, patting Lirath on the shoulder with his large hand to comfort him; the Horde was his support.
"So this matter is resolved like this?" Haimuxi asked, somewhat uncertainly.
"It's just one method; it's too early to solve anything! I have something else to discuss. During my trip to Thunder Bluff, I received some unexpected news about the Forsaken." Zul'ra looked at Moira, drawing everyone's attention with a new topic.
"What I've heard is that the Forsaken are researching alchemy and developing related poisons and biological weapons."
"This is a decision made by the Dark Lady to combat the the Scourge." Faced with the question raised by Zul'ra and the attention of everyone around her, Moira immediately tried to defend the Forsaken.
"Be calm, Moira. I didn't bring this up in a critical tone, but I hope Lady Sylvanas will be cautious and not hand it over to others so easily. As far as I know, those things are extremely dangerous."
Zul'ra pressed his palm slightly against Moira's. When he was threatened by Magatha Grimtotem, his first thought was that this thing was inhumane and would easily attract public opinion. His second thought was that he remembered the Wrathgate incident that happened in the Alliance Horde Horde's Northrend the Scourge storyline. This was something that needed to be prevented as early as possible.
"We shouldn't want these things. True Warrior shouldn't use such methods in battle." Saurfang frowned, dissatisfied with the Forsaken's actions. Just as he was cautious about war, he also maintained a strong sense of honor in war and opposed such despicable means as poison.
"Indeed, if we do that, how are we any different from the Scourge?" Hamuul Runetotem's tone was equally displeased, using the Scourge as a comparison.
There was no more at night.
