Nilan, somewhere after its destruction by the Fel storm
The Pantheon Titans, who had held such an overwhelming advantage, vanished without a trace after Sargeras successfully used Aggramar's body to trigger a Fel flame storm that swept across this world.
Vanidak had previously stood like a victor, mocking the fallen Sargeras as though victory were already his. Now, after suffering one instinctive counterattack from Sargeras, he lay amid a pile of rubble, gasping heavily.
Looking at Vanidak sprawled miserably on the ground, Sargeras, having soothed the soul pain inflicted by his opponent's weapon, waved a hand and condensed a Flaming Longsword of Fel. His own weapon had long since been damaged in the previous Fel storm. In this Astral Realm, perhaps only a Titan like him, who drew power from pure Fel, could endure a wave of destruction of that magnitude—and even use its energy to recover most of his injuries.
The situation between the two Titans had now reversed. Vanidak, who had looked every inch the victor before, watched Sargeras approach step by step with his longsword in hand and struggled desperately to rise.
Sargeras slashed with all his strength. Vanidak instinctively raised an arm to block, but the force transmitted through the blade was far beyond what he could withstand in his current state. He staggered several steps backward before barely steadying himself, drawing a deep breath, and maintaining his fighting stance.
After delivering that strike, Sargeras saw Vanidak's reaction and instead lowered his hand. Looking at Vanidak's barely maintained stance, he asked in a hoarse voice:
"I'm curious. How exactly did you survive that flame storm? The others from the Pantheon should have been burned to ashes in the Fel flames I unleashed. Yet you—you were the first to be swallowed by the flames, and somehow you
