A tremendous boom rang out across the world. The disturbance was so great that even the Burning Legion demons who had long since retreated beyond the world were struck with terror. Accompanying the explosion, a visible black tide spread across Nilan. Even from within the Astral Realm, seeing that sweeping tide and sensing the dreadful power contained within it, the Burning Legion demons fortunate enough to survive their battle with the Titans still felt afraid.

Yes, these scoundrels who burned, killed, looted, and committed every evil imaginable had been scared out of their wits this time.

The black tide gradually spread, then gradually subsided, leaving behind a region clearly distinct from everywhere else. From the Astral Realm, that land looked like an abyss, and the many demons, curious yet fearful, dared not look directly at it after merely glancing its way.

"What was that?" Driven by their race's innate curiosity, a Gan'arg demon engineer, normally timid by nature, unexpectedly took another look. With that furtive glance, he saw something seem to burst from that region and vanish into the Astral Realm. It moved incredibly fast; though its light was dim, that swift streak was firmly etched into the demon's mind.

"Do your job, lower demon!" A Felguard heard the Gan'arg engineer's cry and glared viciously at the little fellow, giving him a standard demonic warning. Under the gaze of such a powerful superior, the Gan'arg engineer's timid nature seemed to return in full force. He hurriedly shrank back and meekly answered his commander's warning:

"Yes, yes, sir. I'll return to my post right away..."

"Get moving!" The Felguard unceremoniously kicked the diminutive demon engineer away, then instinctively glanced at that region again. This time, he too seemed to see something.

"What the hell is that?" the demon blurted out
