Sarutobi Asuma heard Qingcheng's words, and his face filled with agitation. He roared, "What did you do to Kurenai? Impossible! This is absolutely impossible! How could Kurenai like you?"
Qingcheng looked delighted as he laughed. "Why don't you take a piss and look at yourself? If your father weren't the Third Hokage, you'd be nothing but shit."
For Sarutobi Asuma to become the instructor of Ino-Shika-Cho, Hiruzen Sarutobi had definitely paved the way for him. It was so Asuma could forge bonds with Shikamaru and the others, ensuring that when he rose to power in the future, he would have the support of the new generation of Ino-Shika-Cho.
As for the three of Ino-Shika-Cho, all of them inherited their clans' secret techniques. In other words, even a dog could be their instructor, since there was not a single jutsu that needed teaching.

The Third Hokage solemnly said, "Shisui, go do it. I trust you. The village will be your support."
Then, with a wave of his hand, he signaled Danzo. Uchiha Shisui had awakened the Mangekyō Sharingan, and the ocular techniques in both his eyes were Kotoamatsukami. Go take them. That technique was too terrifying and had to be held by the village.
Then Uchiha Shisui was besieged and had one eye gouged out by Danzo. Uchiha Itachi, Shisui's attendant, not only failed to reclaim Shisui's eye, but after a round of threats from Danzo, directly wiped out the entire Uchiha Clan.
Qingcheng would remember this rotten debt forever. Let everyone taste the pain of clan extermination together.
Seeing Qingcheng's condescending expression, Sarutobi Asuma furiously shouted, "I'm seeing Kurenai right now! Get out of my way, you dead last!"
Qingcheng looked at the agitated Asuma and smiled. "This isn't your home. You think you can come in whenever you want? Do you really think you're the Hokage? Lord Danzo isn't dead yet."
Qingcheng sneered again. "Or wait until you become Hokage, then try trampling on other people at their own doorsteps."
Konoha would have to wait until Tsunade took office as the Fifth Hokage before it could truly welcome the light, because Tsunade completely suppressed Danzo.
Those Root members were like a single rat dropping in a pot of soup, able only to hide in the shadows. Shimura Danzō had even become the five-and-a-halfth Hokage after taking advantage of Pain's invasion, when Tsunade was injured and unconscious.
When Kakashi took office, Konoha would finally see true light. Like Minato Namikaze, Kakashi improved the treatment of civilian ninja and disbanded the Root ninja. The village no longer needed darkness, so everyone could embrace the sun.
If Hiruzen Sarutobi had stepped down after his first term, he would certainly have been a qualified Hokage. But when he took office for the second time, he became a useless Hokage—indecisive, fickle in his actions, and utterly lacking in courage or responsibility. All he needed was to maintain his image in the hearts of the people.
Uchiha Qingcheng was simply someone who cared about his family. If the clan prospered, he could lend Konoha a little help. But now that the clan had been exterminated, every one of those stained with Uchiha blood could forget about getting away.
Thus, Qingcheng looked at Asuma as though he were a clown who could never obtain love. He had no intention of killing him himself. Letting him become a Guardian Ninja in the Land of Fire would also ruin Hiruzen Sarutobi's reputation.
Seeing that Qingcheng remained unmoved and continued staring straight at him, Sarutobi Asuma angrily said, "If you won't let me in, I'll force my way through."
Qingcheng took out a pair of sunglasses and put them on, mocking him as he said, "I will defend the Uchiha Clan's territory with my life."
Behind the sunglasses, Qingcheng activated his Sharingan. Three connected black tomoe appeared in his eye sockets, and the crimson Sharingan was completely concealed by the sunglasses, leaving no trace. Qingcheng continued to stare directly at Asuma.
When Sarutobi Asuma saw Qingcheng put on the sunglasses, his face filled with ridicule. "You think you have the Sharingan or something? You even put on sunglasses. Do you think that makes you mysterious?"
Qingcheng smiled. "You're trash. Compared with Kakashi and the others, you don't have any real strength. You rely entirely on your father being Hiruzen Sarutobi. If you weren't the Hokage's son, you probably wouldn't even qualify as a Special Jonin."
When Qingcheng awakened the Three-Tomoe Sharingan, he had felt that his Chakra reserves had already reached the level of a jonin. One more step, and he would be an Elite Jonin.
But that level of strength was still not enough to kill old dogs like Danzo. Blowing up their clan compounds, however, would definitely not be a problem.
Qingcheng had always played the part of an ordinary person. First, he feared persecution from Konoha's higher-ups. His strength was insufficient, and he did not want to flee the village and wander outside. Second, he wanted to strike these venomous snakes a fatal blow from the shadows.
Hearing this, Asuma's face filled with rage, and he shouted emotionally, "I want to see Kurenai! Otherwise, I won't leave!"
Seeing how agitated Asuma was, Qingcheng was overjoyed. He softly said, "Sharingan: Genjutsu Control."
The Three-Tomoe Sharingan beneath his sunglasses spun. In an instant, an invisible spiritual force surged forth like a tide toward Sarutobi Asuma.
Sarutobi Asuma suddenly sensed that something was wrong. An image flashed through his mind: he was being watched by a pair of enormous Three-Tomoe Sharingan. Asuma was horrified.
Before he could say anything, his eyes shut, and he nearly collapsed on the spot. Then his entire body became dazed.
Qingcheng said solemnly, "Get lost. Don't ever come to the Uchiha Clan again. Kurenai and I don't want to see you."
Sarutobi Asuma's eyes were dull as he said in a dispirited voice, "I understand. I won't ever come bother Kurenai again. I only wanted to tell you that I don't want to stay in Konoha. My father is a hypocrite."
After saying that, Asuma slowly got to his feet. Still looking utterly dejected, he walked toward the Sarutobi Clan's territory.
Qingcheng deactivated his Sharingan and smiled. "How could our great Third Hokage be a hypocrite? This spoiled brat is slandering Lord Hokage again."
The ninja on the rooftops had already begun recording everything, separately sending Sarutobi Asuma's actions and words to their respective masters.
The ANBU ninja reported to Hiruzen Sarutobi, while the Root ninja reported to Shimura Danzō.
Qingcheng looked at the six surveillance ninja on the rooftops. Three were Root ninja, and the other three were ANBU members.

The genjutsu Qingcheng had cast on Asuma amplified Asuma's rebellious nature, making him go home and clash with his father.
Hiruzen Sarutobi and Shimura Danzō were simply too idle. They were still desperately monitoring the two surviving Uchiha.
I need to find something for them to do, keep them as frantically busy as last time.
