Even the most perfect Necron creations cannot withstand the erosion of time. Perhaps this tomb once possessed flawless defensive facilities, but now, most of these silent installations are unable to resist the excavations of scavengers.

The Necron soldiers before them were dragged out one by one and hacked to pieces, their precious Living Metal harvested into airtight containers. A single unit of Living Metal could be traded for a Leman Russ tank on a Mars Forge World.

On the path to searching the tomb, the Blackwatch shattered seven waves of Necron encirclements. The corridors they traversed were littered with broken metal and shell casings. Hogg cared little for the research value of the Necron tomb, opting instead to clear the way with heavy plasma and melta fire, punching through walls to head straight for the tomb's core.

The closer they moved toward the core, the greater the resistance they encountered, and casualties began to appear within the ranks. Soldiers who were severely wounded and unable to continue fighting were carried back to the surface for treatment by the Auxilia using carts.

More and more human soldiers entered the tomb world. Each Blackwatch squad was equipped with a platoon of Auxilia clad in individual armor to conduct mopping-up operations in the areas already secured.

Just as Hogg was enjoying the carnage, the firepower ahead suddenly surged, and a massive space capable of accommodating the takeoff and landing of warships appeared before them.

Obelisks mounted with death rays stood densely all around. On the central high platform, the Stasis Sarcophagus had already been opened. A tall, ornate Necron Lord, standing five meters high, had awakened, with numerous Lychguard standing watch before him.

Hogg, looking toward the Necron Lord, was also discovered. In the Lord's eyes, streams of information began to convert and analyze; the residual Psionic Energy fluctuations on Hogg left it feeling puzzled, as this was a form of energy it had never encountered before.

As it continued to receive more data, the team behind arrived at Hogg's side. Seeing the Eldar mixed among the Space Marines, the Necron Lord, who had slumbered for years, began to rage, its deep voice booming through the space:

"So, the lapdogs of the Old Ones. My warriors, annihilate them!"

In an instant, sickly green rays illuminated the entire space. Hogg, having just poked his head out, was hit by the concentrated fire of the death ray weapons and slammed into the wall.

The Blackwatch nearby, seeing their father under attack, fell into a frenzy, howling as they returned fire. Plasma and bolters began to roar, Striking Scorpions began to maneuver, and the late-arriving Dreadnoughts provided fire support from the corridors.

But the Necron firepower was too dense; without heavy weaponry, the Blackwatch were suppressed back into the corridors.

Hogg's newly crafted Raider armor was destroyed instantly. Stunned, he pried himself out of the wall. His damaged front armor was venting blue smoke, clearly in need of a factory overhaul. Furious, Hogg used his mechanical tentacles to rip off the unusable parts.

"Damn you, that was my new Power Armor! I'm going to tear you into pieces! Waaaagh..." Enraged, Hogg ceased maintaining his human form and began to reveal his true essence.

The flesh beneath Hogg's damaged armor began to boil and expand. His 2.2-meter frame surged and swelled; crimson flesh tissue fused with the armor, and several tentacles sprouted from his back, growing plasma weapons and bolters at their tips. He expanded to seven meters, his exterior wrapped in thick, chitinous plating, revealing only hideous spikes.

Having completely unleashed his nature and transformed into a monster, Hogg roared and leaped toward the Lord in the center.

The Blackwatch, seeing their father become so massive, felt their hearts swell with pride. Dark red electricity crackled across their bodies as if they had entered a blood-crazed state.

Ginny, her eyes glowing red, performed a jumping slash that shattered a firing Obelisk, letting out a war cry: "This must be Father's great power! Crush them!" The berserk Blackwatch, changing their suppressed status, charged at the Necrons ahead.

Transformed, Hogg felt invincible. Violent power surged through his limbs; he felt as if he could kill Emperor with a single punch. His massive claws tore apart a Lychguard that tried to retaliate. The weak decomposition beams could only damage the outer chitin, but it would regenerate in an instant.

But the ancient overlord who once dominated the galaxy was no mere name. Looking at the giant before him, the Lord felt no fear. It raised the scepter in its hand, and a massive gravitational force descended, pinning Hogg's body. The scepter transformed into a spear, radiating intense heat. The extreme temperature distorted space, and the Lord, unfazed by the Primarch's aura, thrust the war spear at the monster.

Bearing the gravity that could crush a Titan, Hogg did not dodge, taking the hit head-on with his massive frame. The scorching energy, unlike the decomposition rays used by the grunts, incinerated a large chunk of his flesh. But the distance between them had closed, and his claws, imbued with Psionic Energy, swept across, tearing open the Lord's shield.

"You little brat, daring to melee with me? Have you gone senile from sleeping too much?" While spouting trash talk, Hogg began to skirmish with the Lord.

The seemingly spindly Lord was vicious in combat. Relying on superior footwork, it fought like a hunter, tearing and burning a large chunk of the monster's flesh with every strike. Although it could be repaired quickly, the high temperature caused Hogg's body temperature to rise rapidly, and scorching gas vented from the trachea generated on his back. Just as the Necron thought it could finish off the monster, The flesh tissue torn from his body had, unbeknownst to them, spread across the entire battlefield. Dark red electricity erupted, and the surrounding Necron structures began to spark.

"Oh no!"

No longer suppressed by gravity, Hogg's speed skyrocketed. His two palms clamped directly onto the Necron Lord's body; even the Necron's Living Metal frame could not withstand this savage strength.

Riiip! A teeth-gritting sound echoed as the Necron Lord was torn in two. The scorching war spear, lacking its master's control, fell to the ground.

"You cannot kill me. This is merely one of my vessels. After this vessel perishes, a more powerful version of me shall return." The bisected Necron mocked the futility of Hogg's efforts.

"Can't kill you? Old thing, the times have changed."

Ignoring the noisy Necron, Hogg used action to shut its mouth.

The seven-meter monster sliced open his own abdomen, and twisted tentacles reached out from within. The ethereal tentacles broke the veil of reality, and accompanied by the sound of wriggling flesh, the Necron's remains were dragged into Hogg's stomach.

Feeling satisfied, Hogg punched his glowing red belly, physically suppressing the Necron's resistance within, and rejoined the battlefield.

The massive beast rampaged through the Necron soldiers, using his frenzied tentacles to uproot Obelisks and use them as weapons, granting the Necrons a true death.

Soon, under Hogg's ravaging, there were no intact Necrons left on the scene, only scattered Canoptek Constructs crawling on the ground, which were finished off one by one by the arriving Blackwatch.

Looking at the giant beast, Ginny stepped forward to inquire about Hogg's state.

"Father, have you eliminated that terrifying xenos?"

Lowering his head to look at the Blackwatch at his feet, Hogg simply let out a burp and patted his stomach, indicating it would take some time.

Although Hogg could not find the other vessels hidden by the Necron Lord, he could use his own infectious nature to construct a cage of flesh to seal and cover it with corruption. As long as this vessel was corrupted, even if the other Necron vessels activated, they would never obtain the intelligence from this location.

Hogg, currently digesting, suddenly felt a vague fluctuation, as if something were summoning him.
