Magnus's Magical Wonderland

When Magnus was still a child, the home planet he landed on, Prospero, had already developed psionic technology.

Magnus, who possessed immense Psionic Energy, was the cream of the crop among them; furthermore, he could hold psionic phone calls with Old Man Yellow and receive teachings from the Great Demon E.

It is common knowledge that bratty children are prone to courting death, let alone a Primarch who possesses extraordinary power.

Magnus did not heed the warnings of Emperor and used his Psionic Energy wantonly. He roamed the Warp without taking any precautions, searching for knowledge.

That was until he discovered a mysterious fairyland filled with friendly and wise elves—or at least, that is what Magnus believed.

But Hogg knew that all of this was fake. This fairyland was a trap Tzeentch had gone to great lengths to construct, specifically to create the illusion for Magnus that the Warp was a place of truth, goodness, and beauty.

Just like Tang Sanzang in the story of the Three Bone Demons, the proud Magnus, despite having world-shaking wisdom, lacked common sense. Everything he understood was an information cocoon set up by Tzeentch.

Looking at the vibrant fruit in his hand, Hogg felt a wave of nausea.

In Hogg's vision, the fruit in his hand had transformed into a rotting, oozing Nurgling with its limbs severed. There was no need to even mention what the garden grass had actually been. In short, he was truly impressed by Magnus, who was gorging himself on excrement.

In high spirits, Magnus continued to weave his Psionic Energy. The two figures vanished from the garden and arrived at a massive library.

This colossal library was constructed of crystal, allowing one to read books without the need for lighting. The shelves, which stretched beyond the reach of sight, were packed with exquisite volumes.

"Brother! Do you see? This is a miracle of The Great Ocean! Such vast knowledge and treasures await our exploration."

An excited Magnus, like a child with a new toy, boasted to Hogg.

Having already familiarized himself with the place, Magnus took Hogg on a tour of the great library. From time to time, Hogg could see creatures dressed in linen uniforms cleaning the area.

"Magnus, what kind of creatures are those?"

Looking at the beautiful elves with their iridescent feathers, Magnus explained:

"These are the library staff. Although they don't speak much, they are very friendly. They are also servants of the Djinn I encountered. You mustn't disturb them."

"Understood, don't worry. I am known for being refined and easygoing."

Observing his surroundings, Hogg took a book from the shelf. The slick texture of the cover was very familiar to Hogg, who often conducted biochemical research in his laboratory.

Opening the book, the symbols transformed into patterns. According to the display, this was a collection of fairy tales. Sensing something was wrong and not looking too closely, Hogg put it back on the shelf, though he deliberately placed it crookedly.

The staff member Magnus had spoken of walked over and began to tidy up the misplaced fairy tale book right in front of Hogg.

Taking this opportunity, Hogg was able to observe this so-called elf at close range, a flash of electricity flickering in his eyes.

This was a humanoid creature possessing a pair of blue wings covered in beautiful feathers, with a delicate face and a smile perpetually hanging on its lips, making it seem approachable. Perhaps it was Hogg's gaze that drew its attention.

"Noble visitor, is there anything I can help you with?"

A crisp, melodious voice rang in Hogg's ears, making one feel pleasant. Hogg really wanted to catch one to put in his laboratory for study, just to see if this creature was edible.

"No! You go about your business; I already have a guide."

Perhaps there was something on Hogg that it detested, as this so-called elf quickly distanced itself from the area.

[No wonder Magnus didn't have a shred of suspicion. Tzeentch, you really went all out!]

Without the strange creature knowing, Hogg had seen through its disguise. There were no such things as elves; this thing was just a Warp daemon, merely placed inside a fabricated shell.

What was precious, however, was that this shell had absolutely no chaotic corruption from the Warp, though the thing lurking inside it had changed.

The most critical part was the books. Although Hogg couldn't understand a single word, he could still perceive the information radiated by those images. Magnus, who had read who knows how many books here, hadn't felt a hint of alarm.

Taking advantage of the fact that no one was around, Hogg secretly took a book and tried to put it in his dimensional pocket, but it wouldn't go in no matter what. He had no choice but to find a bag and put the book and the fruit together.

In the time that followed, Magnus took Hogg to many places. The creatures here were hospitable, one after another bringing out exquisite delicacies to entertain the two.

Using the excuse that he was full, Hogg pushed all the food onto Magnus. The tall Magnus accepted everything, eating the delicacies while showing his brother around, even saying it was a pity Hogg couldn't taste such delicious food.

Amused, Hogg hurriedly took out his camera and snapped a few photos of Magnus eating, even making Magnus strike a few poses. The two of them were in a state as if they were out on a picnic in the wild.

Returning to the original garden, Hogg, who had collected many things in his bag, dumped the items onto the grass.

Magnus said in astonishment: "Brother, when did you bring those over? I've tried before; items from here cannot be taken out."

Picking out the fruit he had seen at the very beginning from the pile of junk, he handed it to Magnus and signaled for him to eat it.

Not understanding what his brother was up to, Magnus looked at the bright, delicious fruit in his hand and took a large bite, the bright red juice spilling from his mouth.

Seeing that Magnus had completely consumed the fruit, Hogg plucked another one from the tree and placed it on the ground.

"Magnus, do you remember when you used Psionic Energy on me when I first arrived at the palace? Just as you possess powerful Psionic Energy, I can hinder the operation of psionic spells. So, to ensure authenticity, I picked another fruit. I hope you won't blame me."

"Also, my dear brother, could you open a portal home first? I have a feeling you might be a bit preoccupied in a moment."

"How could that be? I wouldn't blame my brother over a piece of fruit."

Seeing that the portal had been generated, Hogg poked his head through and shouted into the Imperial Palace: "Emperor, you are a &...%¥, go sell your %¥# and let Malcador enjoy it!"

Hogg quickly pulled his head back and began to unleash his power. Dark red electricity erupted, sweeping through everything nearby.

Under the impact of the massive Psionic Energy, the garden that should have been a fairyland underwent a transformation.

A violent stench flooded Magnus's nasal cavity. The miscellaneous items collected on the ground turned into strange, twisted creatures that scattered and fled, and the vibrant fruits turned into rotting, eerie chunks of meat.

The little elves that had been frolicking and playing above his head shed their disguises, turning into foul-smelling Nurglings covered in wriggling live maggots. Rotting flesh and pus flowed into the mouth of Magnus, who stood there with his jaw agape.

The ground beneath his feet turned into a decomposition pool filled with carrion and microbial bacteria. Strange, twisted flesh-worms spat out lumps of viscous excrement, only to swallow them again.

At this moment, Magnus could no longer think. A violent physiological reaction occurred within his body, and he collapsed into the pit of carrion and excrement, his whole body convulsing.

"Ugh!!! Ugh!! Ah..."

A massive amount of vomit erupted from Magnus's mouth, splashing at his feet, only to be devoured by the Nurglings scurrying away.

This dealt a massive mental blow to Magnus, causing him to fall completely into the cesspit.
