The changes in the illusion could not escape the Overseer's eyes. After the garden was struck by Psionic Energy and reverted to its true form, a shocked Kairos Fateweaver arrived on the scene.

At this moment, the giant spirit manifested by Kairos Fateweaver saw the source of the disturbance at a glance: it was the hideous monster of the material universe standing before him—Hogg.

Just as the giant spirit manifested by Kairos Fateweaver prepared to open his mouth to berate Hogg for ruining everything and use his magic to re-shroud the changes here, Hogg, who had been waiting for a long time, didn't bother with pleasantries, knowing full well he couldn't out-talk these magic-users. He instantly transformed into a ten-meter-tall behemoth, lunged forward to slam into the spirit, and grabbed the giant spirit's head with his powerful claws, beginning to gnaw.

"Crack!"

The sound of shattering porcelain echoed. Having just reacted, Kairos Fateweaver had his illusory shell destroyed by Hogg, revealing his true form.

The giant creature shed its disguise, unfurling a pair of wings that blotted out the sky, transforming into the grim shape of a two-headed avian monstrosity. A staff shimmering with Warp energy popped out from the void, gathering vast power, and within mere seconds, bizarre sorcery struck the behemoth.

"Since you have discovered me, I shall stop acting. I am the Lord of Change, Kairos Fateweaver. Remember my name. I will make you, this mindless, foolish monster, pay the price."

The head symbolizing the future laughed wildly; having played house for so long, it had grown impatient. Unlike the other head that saw through the past, it did not enjoy these boring tricks; it preferred to spend its energy exploring the infinite changes of the future.

Sorcery containing immense destructive energy gathered, and a beam of ruinous light bombarded Hogg.

"Scream! Wail! Be reduced to ashes of eternal madness under the might of the Change Sky!"

But Hogg, having digested the power of Khorne and possessing noble magic resistance, was not having it. He had already carefully observed this place; it was the boundary between the Warp and the material universe. As a Greater Daemon, Kairos Fateweaver could channel most of his power, but not all of it.

Kairos Fateweaver's magic dealt Hogg a painful blow, tearing half his body into dust with surging energy. Yet, the remaining limbs clung tightly to the daemon, and illusory tentacles emerged, burrowing into the Greater Daemon's gaping wounds to devour and assimilate its power.

Four Blackstone Obelisks were retrieved from a pocket dimension and gripped by four arms, then driven deep into the Greater Daemon's body, completely severing his connection to the Warp.

With these trump cards, Hogg had the strength to fight even outside the material universe. Moreover, having seized the initiative, he had closed the distance and restrained the Greater Daemon.

"Let me go, you monster! What is this? Why is my power being suppressed?"

But Hogg, pinned onto Kairos Fateweaver, ignored him. His hideous maw began to exert force, the structure of his entire head undergoing violent mutations as sharp teeth began to rotate under the drive of his muscles.

The Psionic Energy he had been accumulating for a long time formed a breath attack in his mouth, spraying Kairos Fateweaver at point-blank range and rapidly corroding his body.

A continuous stream of energy was assimilated by the tentacles and fed back into himself. Hogg's depleted mana bar began to grow rapidly, while Kairos Fateweaver, who had been casting sorcery just moments ago, began to weaken.

As one of his heads was crushed directly by Hogg, Kairos Fateweaver panicked. He had thought his power could subdue this beast, never imagining that his pride-and-joy spells would hit its carapace like a tickle, forcing his noble self to engage in melee combat like a mindless Khornate daemon.

Kairos Fateweaver's melee skills were not poor; he swung his staff with such force that it shattered one of Hogg's arms with a single blow. Just as Kairos Fateweaver thought he could break free, several fleshy tentacles grew from the stump and wrapped around his body.

Flesh carrying Psionic Energy eroded into Kairos Fateweaver's wounds, wantonly destroying everything within his body.

"Gwaa! Do not devour it!!"

The head being bitten could no longer hold on; it was torn off by Hogg and swallowed into his stomach.

The remaining avian head began to shriek madly. It could not sense the existence of the other head; once the head that could see the past was swallowed into Hogg's belly, its perception was blocked by that bizarre energy.

Soon, Kairos Fateweaver felt terror. The parts devoured by Hogg seemed to vanish from the Warp, and more than half of the power that should have returned to him was lost.

In this state, the Lord of Change had completely lost his initial arrogance and only thought of fleeing.

Hogg, who had fully grown onto Kairos Fateweaver's body and replaced half of the Lord of Change's form, had accumulated enough energy. Dimensional Lightning, specially tuned for the Warp, began to erupt. The entire illusion began to shatter, and Kairos Fateweaver, left with only half a body, was blasted into charcoal by the lightning, yet he still did not die.

As the most famous Lord of Change, Kairos Fateweaver began his final struggle. He had to escape this place; as long as he returned to the Warp, he could be reborn.

Having set his target, Kairos Fateweaver smashed his own body with his staff, channeling his remaining power to call upon his master, the Lord of Change.

Discarding most of his body and left with only half, Kairos Fateweaver escaped control and became rampant once again:

"Mindless monster, the great Saint Tzeentch shall arrive, and your doom is at hand! Ha! Ha! Ha! I will peel your skin off to make a book, then throw it into the realm of Khorne to let those moronic brutes trample you for ten thousand years."

Not expecting Kairos Fateweaver to be so resolute, Hogg, having re-condensed his form, continued his assault. As long as he could catch him, there was a chance to completely eradicate this Lord of Change.

The frenzied beast began to charge, and the physical distance was shortened by Hogg, who possessed the power of the C'tan. As long as I can touch him, I can entangle him and completely extinguish Kairos Fateweaver's existence.

However, the gaze of The Great Ocean had arrived. The shell of this illusion was twisted, and Hogg, his charge interrupted, could only watch as everything around him began to shatter and fall into the domain of Tzeentch, with countless daemons rushing out from the cracks.

The power to twist physical laws could not take effect in the chaotic and disordered Warp, and among this horde of daemons, there was no shortage of entities comparable to Kairos Fateweaver.

Turning his head to see Magnus still lying in the cesspit blowing bubbles, and the half-crippled Kairos Fateweaver opposite, Hogg made a decision and stopped his advance.

Just as Hogg thought he could not eliminate Kairos Fateweaver and would have to drag Magnus away in defeat, familiar golden light crashed in through a portal.

"You dog! I've come to save you!" The voice arrived before the person.

Emperor and Malcador, accompanied by the Adeptus Custodes, fought their way through the portal opened by Magnus, joining the battlefield to intercept the incoming daemon army.

The nearest Magnus was taken away by the Adeptus Custodes and returned to Terra. This allowed Hogg, now free of worries, to continue his charge toward Kairos Fateweaver.

A bone spear wrapped in illusory tentacles was pulled from Hogg's body and hurled fiercely, pinning the fleeing Kairos Fateweaver. The massive amount of Psionic Energy within the bone spear directly controlled the half-crippled Kairos Fateweaver, dragging him toward Hogg to be swallowed in one bite.

Emperor's psychic power erupted completely, forcibly shattering the nearby daemons and driving back Tzeentch.

Subsequently, Malcador began to cast a spell, and everyone present was enveloped by psychic energy and rushed into the portal, completely departing from this space that was about to be destroyed.

Thanks to the three readers: Xingkong Mangmang, Bashu Hao Qingnian, and Xiangyao Keshui de Long for their reminders. The author spent an entire afternoon revising the paragraphing and punctuation of all chapters.

It gave me a headache, so if there are any shortcomings, everyone is welcome to point them out. ---- Love you all, Corgi
