"What did you say?"
Angron, who was packing up his things, looked up and repeated Fulgrim's words with a frown. "He's gone mad?"
Fulgrim carefully corrected his wording. "I didn't say that. I only think the captain may be somewhat mentally unwell."
Angron rolled his eyes and snapped back, "Oh, come on. What's the difference between mentally unwell and mad? Ha, this really is the funniest joke I've heard lately. Funnier than those bets the Ultramarines keep making with each other. You know they've been—ah, forget it."
"What exactly is funny about this? I don't understand where your sense of humor comes from." Fulgrim frowned. "I am discussing an extremely serious matter with you—"
"—Yeah, yeah, very serious."
Angron answered in a mocking drawl, "As if this is your first day knowing He. Wasn't he already a madman? You tell me, what normal person would do the things he's done?"
Fulgrim was left stunned by that. But as he stood there and thought it over carefully, he realized it actually did seem to be true.
Dragging a planet full of Demons bodily before himself, turning it into a Planet-sized Warship, sailing through the Eye of Terror and chasing Abaddon all over the place, even holding a loudspeaker while shouting at him to pray...
He had not felt anything was wrong before, but after Angron put it that way, he suddenly realized that what He Shenyan had done truly was not something a normal person could do—no, rather, a normal person simply would not possess that kind of thought process.
Fulgrim shuddered in alarm—so there had not been a single mentally normal person on that ship back then?! How did we survive?!
"...You're right."
For once, Fulgrim finally reached an agreement with Angron on something, but it did not last long.
