A full half hour later.

Rin and the woman slowly emerged from the shadows at the street corner.

Rin's face was pale, her gaze somewhat unfocused.

Rin had been gone for so long that he had nearly gone mad with worry.

If Guy hadn't kept assuring him that everything was fine, he would have rushed in to check long ago.

Rin stiffly shook her head. Her lips moved, but she could not say a single word.

She merely gave the woman beside her a complicated look before quickly looking away.

At that moment, the woman walked up to Guy.

Without hesitation, she dropped to her knees with a thud.

She forcefully slammed her forehead against the ground.

"My lord... from now on, this life of mine is yours..."

Only after the woman had finished kowtowing did he ask evenly, "What is your name?"

"I... I no longer have a name."
