Background / History
Sirin originated from a world where Magical Girls faced a repeating Demon King cycle: a girl who used forbidden magic to defeat the Demon King would herself be incubated into the next Demon King. Faced with the choice of activating the Miracle Stone herself or allowing Teriri to become the next Demon King, Sirin chose a third path and destroyed the Miracle Stone to end the cycle. 219
Unlike many Magical Girls in her new world, Sirin received systematic magical education at a magic academy. She was also responsible for sensing the Miracle Stone within her original team, giving her an unusually strong foundation in magical theory and soul-related phenomena. 219 239
She arrives in a chaotic world combining several Magical Girl settings in the form of the “Little Angel” Sirin rather than the white-haired Queen of the Void. Ai-chan supplies her with a major welcome package, allowing her to rapidly reach Valkyrie Lv. 80. 218
Appearance
Sirin has a small, youthful build, porcelain-pale skin, golden eyes, and exceptionally long purple hair that reaches her calves. Her expression and mannerisms often project confidence and pride despite her young appearance. 218 233
- Long purple hair, sometimes described as reaching her heels; it may temporarily turn white while channeling Miracle Stone authority. 218 250
- Golden pupils. 218
- Usually wears a fitted white one-piece dress beneath a purple skirt with gold patterns along its inner hem. 218
- Often goes barefoot, with purple bandages around both legs and purple ribbons around her feet; she later wears black leather shoes when travelling. 218 219 233
- Has feathers in her hair and a purple polygonal anklet on her right ankle. 218
- Has a persistent upward hair strand that she unsuccessfully tries to comb down. 233
Personality
Sirin is proud of being a “real” Magical Girl and is quick to criticize Magical Girls she considers insufficiently capable. Her harsh first impressions often conceal a protective instinct: she repeatedly intervenes to rescue threatened girls and civilians, then minimizes her concern with tsundere-like remarks. 221 230 246
She is wary of mascots, contracts, and convenient offers of power. Having recognized the danger behind Magical Girl systems, she refuses to trust Venalitas or Kyubey at face value and studies unfamiliar powers before using them. 222 223 236
Sirin is highly curious and research-driven, especially regarding the Miracle Stone, souls, contracts, and the possibility of saving Magical Girls from becoming Witches. Although others increasingly regard her as a Demon King or a potential ruler, she rejects conquest and continues to identify herself as a Magical Girl who values love and beauty. 239 250 251
Abilities & Skills
Magic Scissors
Sirin’s signature weapon and primary magical focus is a massive pair of Magic Scissors, later identified as Dream Cutter: White Night Starburst. 218 231
- Cuts physical objects, souls, spirits, and even thoughts. 220
- Can manifest multiple scissors at once and fire them as projectiles. 225 229
- Forms large pentagram arrays that incinerate groups of monsters with purple flames. 226
- Can anchor binding arrays, such as the formation used to imprison Sister Quigante. 249
- Sirin considers her overall power inadequate against the most extreme threats, including world-destroying Witches and multiversal Magical Girls. 231
Spatial and Magic Mirror Magic
Sirin specializes in spatial magic and can create isolated combat spaces and mirror-based seals. 226 240
- Creates parallel spaces separated from reality for controlled battles and experimentation. 240
- Seals Witches inside a magic mirror before destroying them. 226 227
- Compresses an area of space into a small magic mirror, trapping Homura Akemi’s artillery, tanks, and turrets. 244
- Can construct barriers and defensive magic circles capable of stopping attacks before they reach her. 243
Miracle Stone Authority
The Miracle Stone is an Aetherium Singularity and the core power of Sirin’s original world. Sirin gradually alters its rules to suit the new world and gains indirect access to Demon King authority. 224 250
- Resonates with Soul Gems and Grief Seeds, allowing Sirin to investigate the relationship between Magical Girls, Witches, and Demon Kings. 236 239
- Uses Crystals as a medium to accelerate soul cultivation and establish soul-based contracts. 239 240
- Can restore a Witch into a physical humanoid form; the restored subject may lose her former memories while retaining a soul core in the Miracle Stone. 239
- Allows contracted, Miracle Stone-nurtured Magical Girls to be re-cultivated after death as long as their soul core remains within the Stone. 249
- Lets Sirin evolve and channel Demon King authority without personally undergoing the forbidden transformation into a Demon King. 250
- Its power may temporarily whiten Sirin’s hair. 250
Monster Transformation and Demon Creation
After purifying and modifying Venalitas’s star-shaped transformation item, Sirin can transform without remaining under Venalitas’s control. 223 254
- Summons demons or magical beasts from the ground and commands them in battle. 254 255
- Wields magical knuckle weapons that amplify physical force through kingly authority. 255
- Can emit a deterrent aura comparable to a ruler’s overwhelming presence. 255
- Her transformed identity is obscured by the world’s cognitive-obstruction effect, preventing other Magical Girls from easily recognizing her. 223 254
- Initially avoided using the form because its outfit was too revealing for her comfort. 224
Magical Knowledge and Soul Research
Sirin combines formal magical education with practical experimentation. 219 239
- Detects distinctive magical signatures and identifies hidden Magical Girls or Magical Evils. 219 231
- Recognizes the risks and hidden conditions behind mascot-granted transformation items. 221 223
- Determines that soul-related rule contracts can be formed with talented individuals even without a Soul Gem or Grief Seed. 240
- Studies methods to prevent Magical Girls from falling into Witches, including using Miracle Stone power to offset the consequences of a Kyubey contract. 251
