Background / History

As a child, Huo Huo encountered the fading Suiyang later called Grandpa Tail and tried to help it. The Suiyang devoured her original tail before Ten Kings Hall personnel sealed it at the site of her tail with talismans. The conspicuous flaming tail subsequently made her a target of rejection, envy, and hostility among other foxians, including her parents; she grew up without friends. 182 188 191 192

After traversing worlds, Huo Huo awakens in an eerie graveyard as a Ten Kings Hall trainee judge. System detection identifies the setting as a likely derivative world of Fox Spirit Matchmaker, during an era of open hostility between humans and fox demons.
