All right. I'll go look for 18 after I finish this fight. Just then, someone came over, though he was hovering in the air, his feet nowhere near the ground.
Wei Dong recognized him at a glance: it was Supreme Kai. But the Z Fighters had no idea who he was. In the original story, Piccolo only learned his identity after fusing with Kami. But Piccolo hadn't fused with Kami this time, so he still didn't know who this man was.
A voice suddenly rang out. Listening closely, they realized it was King Kai, communicating with them. He told the Z Fighters who the man was. Son Goku wanted to spar with Supreme Kai and see how strong he was, but Kibito, standing nearby, cursed him out.
Son Goku didn't take offense.
The World Martial Arts Tournament began, but the children's division had already ended before Wei Dong arrived, so he missed it.
Then the adults' division began. As soon as it started, Son Goku sneaked over to Wei Dong and said in a low voice, "Wei Dong, I've mastered a new form. It's even stronger than the Super Saiyan 2 you taught Gohan and me back then. I guess I could call it Super Saiyan 3."
Wei Dong didn't look surprised. After all, Son Goku had mastered it by this point in the original story.
"What about Gohan?" I asked, puzzled.
Son Goku smiled awkwardly. "Gohan hasn't trained in seven years. He's gotten pretty rusty. He was a lot stronger than me seven years ago, but now I'm stronger than he was back then."
"What about Vegeta?" I asked again.
"I don't know. He should still be pretty strong, though, even if I haven't been living with him."
"I see. So, Goku, how well have you mastered Super Saiyan 3?" I asked, puzzled.
"Pretty well. I can control it completely now." As expected of Son Goku, he'd mastered it completely. By the time he finished speaking, it was Son Gohan's match against Kibito. Just like in the original story, Gohan was about to be controlled, but this time Kibito failed to control him.
Kibito was shocked. "What? How can a mere mortal possess such power? I couldn't even control it!"
Son Goku told Gohan not to resist and assured him that everything would be fine.
Gohan did as he was told.
After Babidi's underlings had absorbed Gohan's power, they immediately ran off.
Supreme Kai said they should follow, but not too closely. They only needed to trail them from behind.
Those who followed were Wei Dong, Son Goku, Vegeta, Krillin, Biro, Piccolo, and Supreme Kai. A little later, Kibito and Son Gohan caught up with them too.
As they followed, everyone chatted about what they'd been doing over the years.
When Biro said he'd mastered Kaio-ken up to eighty times, Son Goku kept praising him.
Piccolo had only managed to control Kaio-ken up to forty-five times.
Vegeta clenched his fist. "Damn it."
Everyone asked Wei Dong about his progress too. He said his battle power hadn't really increased and that he'd been working on new transformations.
Vegeta broke out in a cold sweat when he heard that.
The others just smiled and said nothing.
"All right, they've gone inside. Let's stay hidden and not follow them in," Supreme Kai said.
But hiding was pointless. Damn it, Gohan's battle power was so much higher than it had been in the original story that Majin Buu would be revived in no time. What was the point of hiding? Babidi already knew where we were. Why bother hiding at all? Wei Dong thought. When that demon came out, I'd just take him out in one hit, so he'd stop spitting all over the place. Disgusting.
Just like in the original story, Babidi killed those two underlings. Then the demon came flying over in an instant. Remember, he was smiling at this point.
Wei Dong met him with an iron fist. The demon's face warped, and some of his spit landed on Wei Dong's fist, but it didn't turn to stone.
Maybe the difference in their battle powers was just too great.
When Babidi saw the demon get knocked away, he hurried back to the spaceship to transfer energy and revive Majin Buu.
The demon, knocked flying, got back up in a rage and came charging back. Somehow, he now had a sword in his hand. But to Wei Dong, this was just plain cheating. Why was he using a sword? How was Wei Dong supposed to fight him like that?
Fine. He'd send him to meet the others. The demon was already flying toward him. Was he trying to get himself killed? Wei Dong wasn't sure he could beat Majin Buu, but he could definitely beat the living daylights out of this piece of crap.
Wei Dong met him with another punch, this time adding a kick. The demon couldn't even see Wei Dong move.
The demon was so furious at being beaten that he decided to go after the others. There was no helping it. He'd really lost his temper. So Wei Dong would send him to Hell for a while.
"Ha, me, ha, me, ha, me, ha!" Wei Dong used Instant Transmission to appear beside the demon and fired a Kamehameha at him.
And just like that, the demon died. He never smiled like that again; his face was full of stories.
Supreme Kai was sweating profusely. How could these Earthlings be so powerful? It didn't make sense. Kibito said, "They're even stronger than us gods!"
When Supreme Kai came to his senses, he shouted, "Everyone, hurry into the spaceship and stop Majin Buu!"
But Wei Dong spoke up. "Don't bother. Majin Buu will come out on his own in a little while. There's no need to look for him."
"What?" Supreme Kai said incredulously.
"It's fine. If you don't believe me, just wait here. He'll definitely come out on his own."
