After returning to Earth, Broly and his father were no longer the ragged figures they once were; after a simple wash and change, they looked much more spirited.

Gogito and the others were already eating with great enthusiasm. Seeing the two arrive, Future Trunks beckoned them to take a seat and join the meal.

Broly stared at the food before him, something he had never seen before, looking a bit dazed.

Paragus had already begun to eat heartily. How long had it been? How long had it been since he had eaten a proper meal? At this moment, his heart felt deeply satisfied.

Seeing his father eating, Broly began to eat as well. He picked up a piece of roasted meat and took a bite. It was a sensation unlike anything he had ever known—it was delicious. Broly began to wolf it down, but he ate too quickly and started to choke.

Nearby, Future Trunks picked up a cup, poured some water, and handed it to Broly. Broly took it and drank, feeling a sense of relief, and asked Future Trunks, "What is this?"

"This is water."

Future Trunks felt a deep sense of sympathy for Broly; he had never even had water to drink. He felt an even greater hatred for that grandfather he had never met.

Future Trunks took out a bottle of juice and handed it to Broly, saying, "This tastes even better. Try it."

Broly took a sip, tasted it, and said earnestly to Future Trunks, "Thank you, Trunks. I like it very much."

When he wasn't fighting, Broly was just a polite, good-natured kid.

After the meal, everyone sat on the ground chatting. Future Trunks was very curious about where Broly's power came from, so he asked him, "Broly, how did you train to become this strong? And what was that transformation you used? Was it a Super Saiyan?"

Broly replied, "I fought monsters on the planet every day. As for the transformation, I don't know either."

Paragus then explained, "Broly is a mutant Saiyan.

When Broly was small, he would occasionally go on a rampage. At first, I thought it was a problem with his tail, so I cut it off, but the situation didn't improve; Broly still went on rampages.

Moreover, Broly's power grew every day, and I soon became no match for him. My eye was injured by Broly during one of those times.

So, I put a controller on Broly. When he went on a rampage, I would press a button, and the controller would release an electric shock to stop him, allowing me to control him better.

I'm sorry, Broly."

As he said this, Paragus apologized to Broly—apologizing for the years of control and for hurting the playmates Broly had when he was young.

Broly touched the cloth around his waist and said to his father, "It's okay, Father."

Broly had never harbored any resentment toward his father; in his heart, his father was always the most important person.

"Alright, alright, let's not talk about such sad topics. Let's talk about something interesting!"

Seeing the atmosphere grow heavy, Bulma quickly changed the subject.

Next, Tights told Broly some interesting stories about the universe, and Broly listened very attentively.

The two little ones were playing nearby, and a happy atmosphere filled the air.

On Beerus's side, Whis asked Beerus, "Lord Beerus, have you considered it? It's not easy to find such an excellent candidate for a God of Destruction!"

Beerus hadn't thought it through yet and didn't answer.

At this moment, Gogito said from the side, "Lord Beerus, if Broly becomes a candidate for a God of Destruction, wouldn't it be very impressive if you took him to other universes for sparring?"

Beerus imagined the scene, and thinking of the frustrated looks on the faces of other Gods of Destruction, he beamed with joy, letting out a "Heh heh heh" laugh.

Seeing Beerus laugh like that, Gogito knew it was a done deal.

Just like that, Broly became a candidate for a God of Destruction, and Paragus followed him to the World of the God of Destruction.

Some time after the Broly incident, Gogito took his wife and daughter back home. Tights had finished collecting her material and could finally start writing her novel.

After returning to his own timeline, Gogito went to Planet Vampa to bring that Broly and his father to Earth. This way, Goku and Vegeta wouldn't pester him all day; he would let Broly deal with them. Although this Broly was still quite young and his power wasn't as great yet, he was still more than capable of handling those two.

At first, when Paragus saw Vegeta, he still wanted revenge, but after Vegeta said, "That King Vegeta, to exile such a powerful guy, he deserved to be killed by Frieza," Paragus gave up on his revenge.

Broly and Paragus settled down on Earth.

The Buu brought back from the first timeline was also released by Gogito. Dr. Brief said he couldn't research anything from it because the entity was too advanced; he only knew there were two types of energy inside—one righteous and one evil.

As soon as Buu appeared, he demanded food, and if he didn't get it, he would cause destruction everywhere. He only behaved after being taught a lesson by Gogito. However, Tights thought the chubby Buu was very cute, and every time Buu disobeyed and Gogito wanted to beat him, Tights would stop him.

Consequently, Buu clung to Tights's leg; as long as he was by her side, Gogito didn't dare hit him.

Aisu also liked Buu very much. Buu was soft, and Tights and Aisu would often lean on him, which was incredibly comfortable.

Buu's personality was like a child's, and he soon started playing with Aisu, making a ruckus all day long. Once, he even hid Trunks away. Vegeta was so angry he wanted to go up and beat the guy, but to his surprise, he was soundly thrashed by Buu. Aisu clapped and cheered from the side. In the end, it took Bulma asking Tights to intervene for Vegeta to escape his fate.

Then Buu spat Trunks out of his mouth. It turned out that Trunks had been playing hide-and-seek with Ace and Buu; Ace was "it," so Trunks had hidden inside Buu, and Buu had gone into hiding.

A long time passed without them finding Buu. It was Vegeta who eventually located him, and assuming Buu had kidnapped Trunks, Vegeta launched an attack. He didn't expect to run into such a tough opponent.

Alas, poor Vegeta!

From that day on, Vegeta trained even more diligently, swearing that one day he would settle the score.

Goku also heard that Vegeta had been beaten up, so he excitedly went to challenge Buu. However, Buu listened to Tights and would not strike unless there was an emergency.

Seeing that Buu refused to fight, Goku tried to lure him with cake. Buu could not resist the temptation and agreed to Goku's request. Naturally, the result was predictable: Goku received a sound thrashing and went to commiserate with Vegeta.

Afterward, the two of them trained hard and both broke through to Super Saiyan 3, preparing to find Buu and wash away their shame, only to be stopped by Gogito in the end.

As for Gohan, he balanced his studies with his training. Under the guidance of Gogito and Master Roshi, Gohan began to cultivate his state of mind. Studying became Gohan's best form of training; he spent more and more time on his books, no longer limiting himself to academic knowledge. He read every book left behind by the martial arts masters of Earth. Goku felt that Gohan was wasting his time, but Gohan paid him no mind.
