Louis's Identity

Kusu hadn't asked that question aloud. She had sent it to him telepathically.

Louis furrowed his brow. Why would Kusu ask him that?

A spark of realization flashed through his mind.

Wasn't "Erasure" Zeno's technique?

Kusu had probably made the connection, which was why she'd asked.

Louis didn't say anything. He shook his head, meaning that he had nothing to do with Zeno.

At the sight of this, Kusu frowned and sent him a telepathic message. "How could that be? My father clearly said..."

Before she could finish, Kusu cut off the transmission. She gave Louis a long look, then vanished.

The Grand Priest had said that she didn't need to concern herself with anything Louis did, but killing a God of Destruction was a serious matter.

She had come here because the Grand Priest had asked her to stop Louis.

Now that she'd succeeded, her task was complete.

After Kusu disappeared, Louis stood there in a daze. Hadn't she just mentioned the Grand Priest?

It seemed the Grand Priest knew his "real" identity. But wasn't he just an ordinary Saiyan?

Louis began to doubt himself!

"System, am I connected to Zeno somehow?"

Louis was itching to know. This was the first time he'd ever asked the system a question of his own accord.

An electronic voice sounded in his mind:

[The person the Grand Priest was talking about is someone else, not you.]

"Someone else? Who?"

Louis's mouth twitched. So it had piqued his curiosity, only to leave him hanging!

Louis didn't ask again. He hadn't expected the system to answer him at all.

At least its answer confirmed that he had no connection to Zeno!

Finally, Louis left Universe 4 with Whis.

Only Quitela, Tupper, and Cognac remained in Universe 4's God of Destruction Realm.

Quitela rose from the ground and clenched his fists, his expression dark.

He stared at the spot where Louis had vanished, saying nothing.

"Lord Quitela, you should find a chance to apologize to Mr. Louis," Cognac said.

He had too many questions.

Earlier, his siblings had gone to Zeno's Palace, but he hadn't.

Something must have happened.

Otherwise, his eldest sister wouldn't have arrived so quickly!

And her attitude toward Louis had been strange, especially the look on her face when she left.

"All right!"

Quitela clenched his fists. His knuckles crackled.

Cognac naturally noticed Quitela's expression, but paid it no mind.

Quitela had suffered enough humiliation over the past couple of days.

First, Beerus had cornered him in his own home!

Then Quitela had been bullied into serving as Beerus's servant for two days!

And now a mere Candidate God of Destruction had stomped him into the ground.

If Cognac had been in his shoes, even he wouldn't have been able to take it.

So he didn't dwell on Quitela's expression. It was better to let him blow off some steam.

"Lord Quitela, I'm going to find my eldest sister. You..."

"Go ahead and let off some steam."

Cognac vanished in an instant.

A while after Cognac had left, Quitela was still standing there, staring fixedly at the spot where Louis had disappeared.

"I'll kill you!!!!"

Inside the Universe Shuttle Cube.

"The look on that dead rat's face just now was priceless! Hahaha!" Beerus danced around in delight, a broad smile on his face.

"Haha, that dead rat shouldn't have ambushed our Candidate God of Destruction."

Old Supreme Kai looked at Beerus. "You did a pretty good job this time too, you skinny runt."

"Hmm? Skinny runt?"

Beerus stared hard at Old Supreme Kai, his nose raised.

"Oh no!"

Old Supreme Kai covered his mouth. He'd accidentally said what he usually called Beerus in his head.

Beerus snorted. "Forget it. I'm in a good mood today, so I'll let you off!"

Old Supreme Kai patted his chest, then looked at Louis. "Louis, when... when did you learn Erasure?"

At that, Beerus and Whis both turned to look at Louis.

The atmosphere inside the Universe Shuttle Cube grew tense.

Louis rubbed his nose. "I only learned it recently!"

"Only recently?"

Whis shook his head. "Erasure isn't a technique. It's a combination of rules, which the divine attendants have named a Law!"

"To use it, one must comprehend all kinds of rules, then fuse them together..."

Whis looked at Louis. "Even among us angels, many never manage to accomplish this in their entire lives... Do you understand?"

"I..."

Louis looked at Whis. He wanted to say something, but didn't know how to explain it!!

"Enough!"

Beerus stepped in front of Louis, then turned around to face him. "Louis, are you going to endanger Universe 7?"

Beerus's voice was utterly serious, and his expression grave. Old Supreme Kai had never seen him like this.

"Universe 7 is my home!"

Louis answered without hesitation.

At that,

Beerus smiled!

Old Supreme Kai smiled too.

Whis was initially stunned, then joined in with a smile.

They'd gotten their answer, and they were very satisfied with it.

In a good mood, Beerus asked, "By the way, Louis, why did you spit blood just now?"

Old Supreme Kai was puzzled too. "Can't you ignore any kind of damage? Why were you spitting blood?"

Beerus and Old Supreme Kai understood too. Covering their mouths, they laughed. "You never actually planned to kill Quitela. You were just trying to scare him, weren't you?!"

The killing intent Louis had released earlier had startled them. They'd believed him, thinking he really intended to kill Quitela!

"If you figured it out, why say it out loud?"
