The Power of Kusu

Power was divided into five levels of the God Realm, three levels of the Angel Realm, the Grand Priest Realm, and the Zeno Realm.

Louis knew that all the candidate Gods of Destruction were at the Second Layer of the God Realm.

As for the Gods of Destruction, Beerus was at the fifth level of the God Realm, while the rest were at the fourth.

As for the Angels...

Louis didn't yet know what level they were.

Louis stared intently at Whis.

Old Supreme Kai and Beerus also looked at Whis. The atmosphere inside the Shuttle Cube was a little strange.

The main reason was that Kusu had caught Louis's Erasure with her bare hands earlier. It had been an incredibly shocking sight.

"Why are you asking?"

Whis felt a little helpless with the three of them staring at him.

"I feel like Miss Kusu's power is extraordinary."

The others didn't know what was going on, but Louis knew that the Erasure he'd just conjured was powerful enough to kill Quitela.

That power might even be more than an Angel could withstand.

And Kusu had been able to interrupt him. That alone showed how extraordinary she was.

Whis fell silent.

The Shuttle Cube grew quiet, the atmosphere rather subdued.

Seeing that Whis wasn't answering, Beerus swallowed. "Whis, has your eldest sister really reached the level of the Grand Priest?"

Old Supreme Kai also knew how powerful the Grand Priest's level was. If this was true, the Zeno Universe would be in for a bright future!

"I don't know."

After a while, Whis finally spoke. "Don't look at me like that. I really don't know."

Whis didn't look at the three of them. Instead, he gazed out at the dark space beyond the cube and said,

"I only know that my eldest sister is the strongest among all our siblings. I can no longer sense how powerful she is now."

"Perhaps she's already reached that level."

Boom!

The news was too shocking!

Everything that had happened today was more shocking than the last.

Beerus and Old Supreme Kai were dumbstruck.

Louis was just as shocked. That little squirt had probably reached the level of the Grand Priest. No wonder she'd been able to stop him.

Back in Universe 10, Kusu suddenly sneezed. She had no idea that someone was calling her a little squirt behind her back. Just then, she saw Cognac approaching her.

The Shuttle Cube flew into Universe 7.

Whis first took Old Supreme Kai back to the Supreme Kai Realm, then returned to the God of Destruction Realm.

As soon as Old Supreme Kai returned, Shin rushed over to question him about what had happened.

Shin was very anxious. His life was now linked to Beerus's. If Beerus acted recklessly and Zeno blamed him, Shin wouldn't escape the consequences either.

Old Supreme Kai slowly recounted what had happened in Universe 4.

After hearing it all, Shin was overcome with excitement.

Louis was actually that strong.

Louis was Universe 7's candidate God of Destruction. The stronger he was, the better it was for Universe 7.

The God of Destruction Realm.

"It's been almost a whole day. Why hasn't Louis come back yet?"

Tights sat by the lake, resting her chin in her hand as she stared into space.

When Louis left, he'd looked anxious. Something must have happened.

"Whoosh!"

A sound rang out, followed by a familiar voice. "Tights, I'm back."

Tights abruptly turned around and cried out delightedly, "Louis!"

Louis suddenly appeared in front of Tights and wrapped his strong arms tightly around her.

"Is everything taken care of?"

"Yeah, it's all taken care of!"

Louis rubbed Tights's head. Breathing in her faint, sweet scent, he couldn't help feeling at ease.

"That's good."

Tights smiled foolishly.

Louis's chest was firm, and being held in his arms made her feel safe. She'd never felt that way while traveling through the universe before.

Then she suddenly noticed Beerus and Whis watching her without blinking.

Tights's little face turned bright red, her ears burning hot. She buried her head against Louis's chest.

Louis noticed what Tights was doing and looked at Beerus and Whis. The corners of his mouth twitched.

"Okay, you two, stop staring at my wife. You're making her blush. If you've got nothing else to do, can't you just leave?"

"Tch, who wants to watch you two being all lovey-dovey? Tights, I'm hungry."

Beerus looked pitifully at Tights. He hadn't eaten any of her cooking for two or three days, and he was craving it!

Whis nodded furiously beside him. "Tights, I'm hungry too."

Tights emerged from Louis's arms. Her little face was still red, like a ripe apple.

"I'll make something for you right now."

Tights bashfully hurried away.

Watching her shy expression, Louis felt truly happy at that moment.

"Lord Beerus, why don't you go eat on Earth? You ask Tights to cook for you every day. Aren't you ashamed?"

"You're my disciple. What's there to be ashamed of?"

Beerus chuckled. "I can't believe you actually managed to win Tights over!"

Whis snickered beside him. "I told you there was something going on between them."

Beerus pursed his lips and grunted. "Who didn't know that?"

Two dark lines appeared across Louis's face.

Those two idiots.

Just then, Beerus spoke again, his tone changing. "Louis, be careful for a while. Quitela isn't the type to take a loss lying down. He might secretly come after you."

He'd made Quitela serve as a servant for two days, humiliating him thoroughly. Quitela hadn't retaliated because Beerus had been in the right.

Beerus was Quitela's longtime rival and knew his personality better than anyone.

Beerus had also prepared himself for the possibility that Quitela would come after him.

"Him?"

Louis didn't think much of it. "With my physique and my Erasure, that dead rat might've been scared out of his wits. How could he dare come after me?"

"You've got a point."

Beerus nodded, fully agreeing.

If Louis had aimed his Erasure at him back then, Beerus would've been scared stiff. He wouldn't have dared come after Louis afterward either.

Everyone returned to the God of Destruction Realm, and it grew lively again.

In the days that followed, Beerus's daily routine changed a little.

Apart from eating and drinking all day, Beerus would disappear with Whis for the rest of the time.

Louis and Tights found it strange and asked Beerus what he was up to.

Beerus said that Louis might not be afraid of Quitela, but he was afraid Quitela would take revenge on Universe 7.

Ultimately, Beerus was still worried that Quitela would come to Universe 7 and cause trouble.

So every day, he patrolled the universe with Whis.

Louis thought about it and realized Beerus had a point.

He had nothing to lose...

No, it was more accurate to say he had nothing to fear.

No one could hurt him, so Louis naturally had nothing to worry about. But Universe 7 was a different matter.

Universe 7 was vast. If someone caused trouble, Beerus and Whis wouldn't necessarily be able to reach them in time.

Beerus knew that too, but he had no other choice.

Seeing this, Louis felt a little bad for him. He asked Beerus if he wanted him to go to Universe 4 and kill Quitela, so Lord Beerus wouldn't have to work so hard.

Beerus and Whis were startled, and the two of them quickly refused.

They no longer doubted Louis's power. Even though Louis had claimed earlier that he'd only been bluffing, who knew whether he really couldn't use Erasure? If Louis could use that move, Quitela would surely die!

If a God of Destruction died, the Supreme Kai would die too!

The God of Destruction and the Supreme Kai were the foundations of a universe. If both died, it would have a tremendous impact on their universe.

That wasn't to say that a candidate God of Destruction couldn't take over the position.

But having a new God of Destruction without a new Supreme Kai would still be no use!

After all, Universe 4 had no candidate Supreme Kai.

Without a new Supreme Kai, Universe 4 would be left unable to create anything for tens of millions of years.

As a result, Universe 4 would be completely ruined.

And if Universe 4 fell, the Zeno Universe would lose another universe.

That was why, no matter how much they hated each other, Gods of Destruction couldn't kill one another.

Besides, Zeno had already ordered that powerful beings at the level of Gods of Destruction weren't allowed to fight one another.

A God of Destruction's death directly affected the balance of the Zeno Universe.

Only Zeno had the right to determine the balance of the Zeno Universe.

No one else was allowed to interfere.

That was also why Kusu had stopped Louis from using Erasure on Quitela earlier.

Louis finally understood what was behind it all. There was nothing he could do to help Beerus now.
