"Miss, are you Dr. Briefs' daughter?"
Louis walked up to Tights and smiled.
He naturally recognized Tights, but he didn't say it outright, otherwise Whis would look at him with those strange eyes again.
Tights was stunned. She pointed at herself with her pale, slender fingers and widened her eyes: "You... you know my father?"
Her shocked expression looked quite cute!
Louis rubbed his nose and said, "I don't."
"Huh?"
"Can you help me pass a message to your father?"
"S-sure!"
Tights breathed a sigh of relief. Wasn't this boy in front of her quite polite? The Saiyan wasn't as terrifying as Jaco had described!
Not terrifying?
If Tights knew that Louis had destroyed over 5,000 planets, she probably wouldn't say he wasn't terrifying.
However, Tights naturally didn't know this, so she asked cautiously: "What message do you want me to pass on?"
"Tell him to build a 100x gravity room for Son Goku."
Louis hadn't planned on going to Earth so soon, but the thought occurred to him when he saw Tights.
After all, in the early stages, Son Goku's power increased too slowly. If he had a gravity room, Son Goku's strength would surely advance by leaps and bounds.
When he met Son Goku, he might finally be able to have a satisfying fight with the protagonist of Dragon Ball.
"Huh? O-okay, I will tell my father."
"Many thanks!"
Louis prepared to turn and leave, but suddenly thinking of something, he looked at Tights and said: "If you ever encounter danger, just shout 'Whis' at the top of your lungs, and I will come back to save you. Consider this my thanks to you!"
In the original story, after Tights left Earth, she eventually lost contact with Bulma and the others.
Louis guessed that Tights had likely encountered danger and met with an accident. Regardless of whether this guess would come true, it would be a pity to let such a beautiful woman meet such a fate.
"Huh?"
By the time Tights snapped out of her daze, Louis had already turned and left.
Jaco looked at Louis's retreating back and asked: "Tights, do you know this Saiyan?"
"I don't!"
"Then how could he..."
Louis didn't hear the rest of the conversation between Jaco and Tights. He and Whis arrived at the top floor of the Galactic Patrol Headquarters.
A large green octopus sat in an office chair, its tentacles busy organizing mission request forms.
A young man wearing a Galactic Patrol uniform stood to the side.
"Merus, are those Saiyans behaving themselves?"
"Galactic King, they won't be a problem."
"Oh? How are you so sure?"
"They..."
Merus was about to speak when he suddenly sensed something and said: "Galactic King, my brother is here. Oh, and the Candidate God of Destruction is here too!"
"W-what?"
The Galactic King turned pale with fright and fell straight off his chair onto the floor.
As the Galactic King, the large octopus naturally knew many secrets, and he also knew Merus's identity.
Merus was an Apprentice Angel, so wouldn't Merus's brother be a true Angel?
And, the Candidate God of Destruction had actually come too!
Wait!
Since when did Universe 7 have a Candidate God of Destruction?
While the Galactic King was lost in confusion.
"They're here!"
As soon as Merus finished speaking, two figures walked in through the door.
Whis smiled: "Merus, long time no see."
"Brother, long time no see!"
Merus nodded, then looked at Louis: "This must be the Candidate God of Destruction."
Whis nodded with a smile.
"Hello, Merus."
Louis offered a greeting. Before he had arrived, Whis had already explained the unique nature of the Galactic Patrol Headquarters to him.
This uniqueness referred to Merus.
Merus was his younger brother, and it was precisely for this reason that the Frieza Force dared not come to the Galactic Patrol Headquarters to cause trouble for the Saiyan.
"Greetings, Lord Candidate for God of Destruction!" Merus kept his eyes on Louis, discovering that this youth was actually suffused with an ethereal aura.
The state of Ultra Instinct?
Interesting. It seems those who wanted to see the seventh universe make a fool of itself are destined to be disappointed.
The Galactic King stepped forward and bowed respectfully to Louis and his companion.
"Galactic King, bring King Vegeta to see me!"
"Yes!"
The Galactic King hurried off to summon King Vegeta, not daring to question Louis's purpose in seeking him out.
After the Galactic King departed, Whis and Merus began to converse on the side.
Louis looked at Merus; like Whis, he had light blue skin and silver hair.
According to the original story, Merus would die during the Moro arc, only to be resurrected by the Grand Priest, though he would become a mortal after his revival.
"Merus, angels are neutral. You cannot interfere too much in the affairs of the universe, nor can you use your full power against mortals in the mortal realm!"
"Brother, evildoers should be locked away. That is the reason I joined the Galactic Patrol."
"Merus, you will never become a qualified angel this way."
Whis patted Merus on the head and said calmly.
Merus lowered his head in silence.
Louis listened to the brothers' conversation. Merus's personality was truly just as it was in the original story!
Gentle in nature, yet filled with a sense of justice!
Merus's dream was to protect the universe he loved!
Just then!
A tall figure followed behind the Galactic King, walking in through the entrance.
Louis said calmly, "King Vegeta, long time no see!"
Merus and Whis ceased their conversation and looked over.
"Louis? Weren't you taken in as a disciple by Lord Beerus? Why have you returned?" King Vegeta was ecstatic.
Ten years ago, when he had awakened from his coma, Vegeta had informed him that Louis had been taken in by the God of Destruction as a candidate.
"How are the Saiyan faring?"
"For these past ten years, we Saiyan have been hunted by the Frieza Force. We lost some of our kin early on, but now that our combat power has inexplicably increased, the Frieza Force can barely affect us at all."
"What about Vegeta?"
Louis sat on a chair, nodded, and asked again.
"We only joined the Galactic Patrol following the orders of Lord Beerus, but Frieza did not know this and assumed we had betrayed him, so he kept sending people to hunt us down."
King Vegeta gritted his teeth: "Vegeta, Nappa, and Raditz vanished while being hunted ten years ago, and there has been no news of them since!"
"Louis, you are the pride of our Saiyan. Planet Vegeta was destroyed by Frieza; you must take revenge for our Saiyan!"
Vanished?
Louis was stunned; he truly hadn't expected this.
He glanced at Whis.
Whis waved his staff to investigate, then said, "Vegeta and the others are not dead; they are still fleeing from the pursuit of the Frieza Force!"
King Vegeta was overjoyed: "Really? Then, Mr. Whis, could you please bring my son back?"
Whis looked at Louis.
Louis truly hadn't expected Vegeta to be hunted by Frieza for so long, so he shook his head:
"Don't worry about him. If he dies while being hunted by the Frieza Force, he only has his own lack of strength to blame."
As another protagonist of Dragon Ball, could Vegeta really die that easily? Who knows, Vegeta might even end up fleeing to Earth because of this!
Who could have guessed that Louis's casual speculation would actually come true? But that is a story for another time.
"Louis, Vegeta is your kin, how can you be so heartless?"
King Vegeta grew anxious.
Louis looked coldly at King Vegeta and said, "Actually, I had no objections when Lord Beerus wanted to destroy the Saiyan race back then. I never expected Lord Beerus to make that decision in the end because of me."
"Since you have survived, stop bothering me!"
The Saiyan were evil by nature; not every Saiyan would end up living like a human on Earth, as Son Goku and Vegeta had.
Louis was originally from this world, so he had little affection for these evil Saiyan.
Whis was stunned for a moment upon hearing Louis's words.
He had assumed Louis came to Galactic Patrol Headquarters to lead his people back to take revenge on Frieza!
Who could have guessed it would be like this? What, then, was Louis's purpose in coming here? Whis couldn't help but cast a deep, searching look at Louis.
"..."
King Vegeta was rendered silent by Louis's words. As a Saiyan, how could Louis say such a thing!
With his own kin refusing to help him and the Emperor of the Universe constantly hunting down the Saiyans, he, as the leader of the Saiyans, felt truly stifled.
"Fine, if you won't help me, I'll find a way myself!"
King Vegeta clenched his fists. As he walked away, his back looked incredibly lonely.
