Meeting Tights

Louis left the Supreme Kai Realm and spent the next month destroying planets nonstop.

One barren planet after another disappeared at Louis's hands, and he became increasingly proficient at using Destruction Energy.

By now, the Destruction Energy he could conjure had grown from the size of a pearl to the size of a fist.

In the depths of space.

"Destruction!"

Louis raised his hand, aimed at a planet in its primitive tribal era, and hurled a ball of Destruction Energy at it.

Whoosh!

A flash of purple light streaked by. The planet turned into a beam of light and vanished into the depths of space.

The planet Louis had destroyed was originally inhabited, but its evolution had taken the wrong path. It had failed to develop intelligent life, so it had been deemed a useless planet.

Whis gazed at the boy in space, the smile never leaving his face.

"Lord Beerus really struck gold!"

"Whis, what are you talking about?"

Louis turned around. This was the 5,608th useless planet he had destroyed, which showed just how irresponsible Beerus had been.

"Nothing. By the way, you Saiyans can't survive in space. You..."

"Haha, maybe it's because I can ignore negative effects. I can even survive in space now."

"You're a real freak, kid. Normally, an ordinary person would need to reach Grand Kai's level of dimensional training to survive in space. I never thought you'd be able to survive out here with that special power, even though you're still below the Kai Dimension."

"Haha, it's not that big a deal!"

Louis scratched his head. "Whis, I've pretty much finished my task. What should I do now?"

Whis waved his staff and checked the planets that had failed to meet the standards. Seeing that most of them had indeed been destroyed, he said, "Looks like you have! But..."

"Destroying planets alone won't do much to raise the average level of intelligent life in the universe. When it comes down to it, Universe 7 simply doesn't have enough strong fighters!"

"And we can't destroy too many planets, or it'll affect the development of the universe."

"Now it's Shin's turn to step in. Only by balancing destruction and creation, then letting the universe itself produce more strong fighters, can we solve the problem."

Louis nodded at that.

"Whis, if there's nothing left for me to do, can I take a break now?"

"Sure. Where do you want to go, kid?"

A flicker of curiosity crossed Whis's eyes.

Louis replied, "I want to go back and see how things are on Planet Vegeta."

Louis had never been very fond of that bunch of evil Saiyans.

But for some reason, over the years, he couldn't help wondering how the Saiyans were getting along. Now that their fate had changed, he was even more curious about how they were doing.

"Louis, I'm afraid you can't go back to Planet Vegeta!"

"Huh? Was Planet Vegeta destroyed by Frieza?"

"...You actually know about that!"

Whis gave Louis a meaningful look.

Oh no!

Louis swallowed. He'd let something slip again without meaning to.

Whis didn't press him for an explanation. He glanced at Louis, then said, "Don't worry. Planet Vegeta did explode, but the Saiyans all survived!"

"Huh?"

Now Louis was confused.

"Do you remember the order Lord Beerus gave the Saiyans before he left Planet Vegeta?"

"I do. Lord Beerus ordered the Saiyan race to join the Galactic Patrol."

"Good. King Vegeta wouldn't dare defy Lord Beerus's command, so he led his entire race to the Galactic Patrol Headquarters. When Frieza saw King Vegeta's betrayal, he destroyed Planet Vegeta."

"What?"

Louis's instincts kicked in, and he hurriedly asked, "So my Saiyan race is at the Galactic Patrol Headquarters now?"

"That's right! The Galactic Patrol Headquarters is no ordinary place, so Frieza didn't dare invade it. The Saiyan race is alive and well."

Whis nodded, checked the information, then widened his eyes. "I can't believe it. Ten years have passed, and your Saiyans have done pretty well. More than a dozen of them have even surpassed 100,000 in battle power!"

100,000 in battle power?

Louis frowned, lost in thought.

Could the S-Cells in the Saiyans' bodies have started awakening? Is that why they've grown so much in just ten years?

"Whis, help me find a Saiyan named Kakarot. See where he is now."

Louis sounded anxious. Whis frowned. Who was Kakarot?

Before long, he found the answer.

"That Saiyan named Kakarot is on a planet called Earth. He goes by Son Goku now, and he's training under someone named Master Roshi."

He went to Earth? And he's already training under Master Roshi? Louis pondered.

He hadn't expected Son Goku to end up on Earth after all!

Going by the original timeline, this was indeed when Son Goku would begin training under Master Roshi.

The Saiyans were all alive, so would Vegeta still invade Earth? Would Son Goku still transform into a Super Saiyan?

"Come on, let's go to the Galactic Patrol Headquarters!"

Since Son Goku had gone to Earth and Earth hadn't yet been affected much by the butterfly effect, Louis didn't plan to interrupt Son Goku's training so soon.

After all, Son Goku's future breakthroughs would be thanks not only to his talent and determination but also to the martial arts training he received on Earth as a child.

"Sure!"

Whis didn't ask why Louis wanted to go to the Galactic Patrol Headquarters. He took Louis with him, and the two vanished from the depths of space.

Universe 7, at the very center of the North Galaxy.

A huge planet floated there, surrounded by more than a dozen smaller planets.

On the huge planet stood the Galactic Patrol Headquarters.

In the mission hall, Jaco sat on a sofa, watching Saiyans come and go. He couldn't help sighing. "Who would've thought that the fearsome Saiyan race would join the Galactic Patrol Headquarters?"

"Are Saiyans really that scary?"

A woman sat beside Jaco. She had short blond hair, a curvy figure, and the air of a mature woman.

"Of course they're scary! They used to follow Frieza, the Emperor of the Universe!"

The blond woman shuddered at that.

When she and Jaco had been traveling through space, they had nearly been captured by Frieza's forces. Fortunately, Jaco's spaceship had been advanced enough for them to escape.

"Then why did those Saiyans suddenly join the Galactic Patrol?"

"I don't know!"

Jaco furrowed his brow. "But thanks to the Saiyans joining us over the past ten years, the Galactic Patrol's workload has gotten a lot lighter!"

"Strange!"

The blond woman rested her chin in her hand and watched the Saiyans come and go through the mission hall.

Just then!

Two figures walked into the mission hall. They were none other than Louis and Whis.

"It's her?"

The moment Louis entered, he noticed the woman beside Jaco. Tights!

In the original story, Tights was Bulma's older sister and a novelist. In search of material for her books, she had gone into space with Jaco.

He hadn't expected to see her at the Galactic Patrol Headquarters.

"Hm?"

Tights noticed Louis staring at her, and her brows drew together slightly.

"Tights, what's wrong?"

"That person is staring at me."

Tights pointed at Louis.

Jaco hurriedly pushed her hand down, panicking. "Do you want to die? Haven't you seen the tail around his waist?"

"He's a Saiyan!"

Only then did Tights notice the tail around Louis's waist. She quickly covered her mouth.

But then!

"Oh no, oh no! That Saiyan's coming this way. He must've heard what you just said!" Jaco nearly burst into tears. Women were such a pain.

Louis walked closer and closer, and the atmosphere in the hall grew tense.

Jaco and Tights held their breath, their palms slick with sweat. They could only hope he wasn't coming to cause trouble.
