Inside a cave, two little brats hoisted the spaceship leaning against the wall and carried it outside.
Their tiny bodies carrying a spaceship much bigger than they were looked a little odd!
But Saiyans were just that terrifying. To them, hundreds of pounds felt like a toy.
Outside the cave, the ground in front of the entrance was uneven, and it was clear that the area had once been full of potholes. They had probably only been filled in recently.
The uneven ground was scattered with rocks. Farther ahead, many trees had snapped and fallen over, their leaves withering at the ends of the branches. A breeze passed, and the brittle leaves could no longer cling on; they drifted gently to the ground!
At a glance, it was clear that this place had seen a major battle not long ago.
Kasso carried the spaceship on one hand to an open area and carefully set it down.
"Good, good. At least this place wasn't caught up in it!" Kasso said with a smile as he set down the spaceship.
At his words, Ausbie's snow-white cheeks flushed red, and she grew bashful.
When Ausbie had turned into a Great Ape, she had destroyed everything around her. This place had just escaped the devastation, and the spaceship had remained intact. Otherwise, the two of them might have been stuck here for the rest of their lives.
"Little Biel, we're heading to Planet Yardrat now to learn a powerful divine technique!" Kasso opened the spaceship door and spoke to Ausbie beside him.
"Mm!"
Ausbie had already decided: wherever her brother Kasso went, she would go too.
Even if Kasso took her to Frieza's headquarters, Ausbie wouldn't bat an eye. Kasso was the closest family she had now!
The two of them climbed inside. The spaceship door shut, bright flames burst from its underside, and it shot into the sky!
They had originally planned to visit Namek first, but after Ausbie's Great Ape incident, Kasso realized that staying alive was what mattered most. They would go to Planet Yardrat first and learn the life-saving divine technique, Instant Transmission!
The vast starry sky stretched before them. Like a veil of gauze, the Milky Way streamed from northeast to southwest. Countless stars glittered and sparkled, scattered across the night like diamonds, their light flashing endlessly.
Many planets floated in the sea of stars. Some were red, others blue-green, and they came in all sorts of colors.
They varied greatly in size. Some were enormous, dozens of times larger than Earth, while others were less than a tenth of its size. The difference between them was immense.
A gigantic yellow planet appeared before them. Its surface was pitted, with not a trace of green or even water. Beside it was a purple planet, wrapped in a layer of lavender clouds. Hazy and dreamlike, it looked like a girl dressed in purple silk dancing gracefully before them. It was beautiful!
Two spaceships, one following the other, plunged into the purple planet's atmosphere.
They plummeted through the atmosphere at a terrifying speed. Friction set their surfaces ablaze, like matches catching fire.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The two spaceships slammed into a valley, leaving two deep craters.
Kasso woke from hibernation, opened the spaceship door, and jumped out.

An alien in unusual clothing stood before him.
His skin was purplish, and he was bald. His features were arranged much like a human's, but his ears were much longer and his eyes narrower. Gray patches were scattered irregularly across his head, and he was rather short.
"Welcome, visitors from afar!"
"Ah? H-hello!"
When Kasso saw the old man in unusual clothing make a welcoming gesture, he copied it and returned the greeting.
The gesture was a little strange, though, and Kasso couldn't quite manage it. His attempt came out awkward!
"May I ask who you are?"
"Visitor from afar, my name is Hu Su," he replied to Kasso's question.
Hu Su?
Wasn't he the sage of Planet Yardrat? How did he know they were coming?
Kasso thought about it, but couldn't figure it out!
The other spaceship's door opened too, and Ausbie jumped out.
"Kasso, who is he?" Ausbie asked, looking at the strange-looking alien standing before her.
"Are you Saiyans?"
Hu Su hadn't noticed Kasso's tail at first, so he had assumed they weren't Saiyans.
Only when the girl jumped out did he see the long tail wrapped around her waist. Even so, Hu Su wanted to make sure.
"Yes, we are. How did you know?" Ausbie asked, puzzled.
Hu Su led the two of them toward the place where he lived, explaining as they walked.
It turned out that the sage of Planet Yardrat had foreseen a great disaster that would befall their planet. A Saiyan would arrive that day, and in the future, he would help them overcome the disaster!
What!
Wasn't this the story of Goku escaping to Namek in the future?
How could it happen to him? And hadn't Hu Su said a Saiyan would arrive? There were two of them now!
Kasso was completely baffled.
Hu Su was equally perplexed. His vision had clearly shown only one Saiyan arriving. How had there suddenly become two?
"Never mind. They're Saiyans, and that's what matters. With their strength, they should be able to overcome the disaster. The Saiyan race is famous for its love of fighting, so they must be powerful."
Hu Su didn't dwell on it and continued walking with the two of them.
"Sage, we came here because we want to learn the secret technique, Instant Transmission!"
Kasso knew the sage of Planet Yardrat was very wise and seemed able to foresee the future, much like the Grand Elder of Namek.
He didn't beat around the bush and got straight to the point. As long as they meant well, he believed the people here would let them learn their secret technique.
In the anime, hadn't Goku learned the technique after escaping to this planet?
"Planet Yardrat welcomes everyone who is kind and loves peace."
Hu Su stroked his chin. "You can learn this technique, but we have one condition."
"Please, go ahead," Kasso said.
Hu Su explained the condition: if Planet Yardrat ever faced a great disaster in the future, they hoped to be able to ask for the two Saiyans' help.
"We agree. Thank you, Elder Hu Su!" Kasso said. Hearing the condition, he finally breathed a sigh of relief.
As far as he knew, Hu Su had made the same request of Goku, though the anime never mentioned it.
"Good. This room has been prepared for you to rest in. Tomorrow, someone will come and take you to learn Instant Transmission. You can rest assured!" Hu Su said as he led them into a house.
After settling them in, Hu Su went out, heading toward the clan's meeting hall.
"Kasso, we've finally made it to Planet Yardrat. Is Instant Transmission really as amazing as you said?" Ausbie asked, clinging to his arm and giving it a little shake.
"You'll find out once you learn it!" Kasso didn't want to explain too much just then. No matter how much he explained, she wouldn't understand yet. What could a little kid know!
Planet Yardrat's meeting hall.
"Are those two little ones the saviors you foresaw?"
"This! The two Saiyans who arrived today don't quite match my vision. I foresaw a golden-haired Saiyan arriving on our planet!" Hu Su replied.
"Ah, then what..."
"What's the deal with those two little ones?"
"Can they save our planet in the future?"
The whole meeting hall erupted into a noisy argument!
"Quiet!" Supar, seated at the head of the meeting hall, shouted angrily.
Supar was the leader of Planet Yardrat. When he had heard Hu Su's prophecy, he had been shocked. Planet Yardrat would face annihilation in the future, but thankfully, a savior would come to their aid.
At Supar's roar, the meeting hall fell silent, though a faint murmur remained!
"Let's hear what the sage has to say," Supar said.
Hu Su rose from his seat and spread his arms. Everyone stopped whispering and listened quietly.
"Although the two of them aren't the saviors I foresaw, I have a feeling they'll become even stronger than the golden-haired Saiyan in my vision."
Hu Su paused, then continued. "As long as we maintain friendly relations with them, they'll surely save our planet in the future."
As soon as he finished speaking, the meeting hall erupted into an uproar.
The other elders also had complete faith in the sage's words. His previous predictions had all come true, so this one should be no different!
"You all heard what the sage said. Starting tomorrow, remember to treat the two of them as friends!" Supar said firmly.
"If there's nothing else, this meeting is adjourned!"
