Tuffle

A month passed in the blink of an eye. On this day, Gaino and Laiya used Instant Transmission to relocate the Saiyans who were willing to leave to a planet near Planet Vegeta.

Before long, everyone watched as the galactic emperor Frieza led his massive army toward Planet Vegeta. Gazing at the formidable, sweeping fleet, the Saiyans on Gaino's planet swallowed hard, their throats dry.

Feeling the overwhelming power radiating from Frieza, everyone had already lost their will to fight.

When Gaino brought these people out, he had destroyed all of Frieza's tracking and positioning devices, so there was no way Frieza could ever find their location.

Moments later, they saw a massive energy sphere hurtling toward Planet Vegeta. Seeing this, Gaino turned to Laiya and said, "Laiya, go save Aunt Gine. I'll go save Uncle Bardock."

"Understood." With those words, both of them vanished.

In truth, Gaino had no desire to save Bardock. To him, only Bum, Tasha, and Laiya held any real importance; the survival or extinction of the other Saiyans meant nothing to him.

However, just as Frieza's colossal energy sphere was about to strike Planet Vegeta, the system issued a mission.

System: Ding! Detected that the parents of the Child of Destiny in the Dragon Ball world are about to perish. Mission issued.

Mission objective: Save the parents of the Child of Destiny.

Reward: Divine Instant Transmission.

Divine Instant Transmission? Is that the same as the one used by Kibito Kai?

System: Yes, and it has a greater range than Kibito Kai's. As long as the host possesses a map of the Dragon Ball world, you can teleport to any location you can visualize.

Damn, it's that powerful? If I have maps of all twelve universes, does that mean I can teleport anywhere across them?

System: That is correct.

Fine, in that case, I'll definitely save the parents of this Child of Destiny.

On Planet Vegeta, Bardock watched the massive energy sphere descending upon his world. He erupted with power, pushing his ki to its absolute limit, but his strength was simply too low. The energy sphere continued to crush him, driving him toward the surface of Planet Vegeta at breakneck speed.

Just as Bardock was about to be consumed by the blast, a hand caught the massive sphere, bringing it to a dead halt. Gaino grabbed Bardock by the waist and used Instant Transmission to whisk him out of the blast radius.

Gaino brought Bardock to the planet where the other surviving Saiyans were hiding. A few seconds later, Laiya arrived with Gine.

Bardock and Gine were safe, but Planet Vegeta had been reduced to fireworks by Frieza's energy wave.

The moment Bardock and Gine were saved, the system reward arrived.

System: Reward distributed. Please accept.

Gaino said silently, "Accept reward."

A strange sensation flooded his body. Gaino knew he had mastered Divine Instant Transmission.

With a single thought, Gaino appeared on Earth. Another thought, and he was on Namek. Then he zipped to Yardrat before reappearing right in front of everyone.

Everyone had been wondering where Gaino had gone, only for him to suddenly materialize before their eyes.

Watching Gaino vanish and reappear at will, they were all fascinated by such a technique. Yet, it was a skill that couldn't be learned—it was the power of a god.

The moment Gaino appeared, Bardock stepped forward and demanded, "You clearly had the power to save Planet Vegeta. Why did you just stand by and watch?"

Gaino was deeply annoyed by Bardock's attitude. Even if you are the father of the Child of Destiny, in the Dragon Ball world, power dictates who has the right to speak. Clearly, Bardock lacked that strength.

Gaino retorted, "Bardock, I'm only being polite because you were a comrade of my parents. If anyone else spoke to me like that, they would have already vanished from my sight."

"Furthermore, I believe that doing the impossible when you know it's futile is just stupidity."

"You knew full well that all of us Saiyans combined were no match for Frieza, yet you insisted on challenging him. Do you think that's bravery?"

"Wrong. That's stupidity. As the saying goes: 'As long as the green hills remain, there's no need to worry about firewood.' As long as we Saiyans survive, we have a chance for revenge."

"Besides, do you know that the destruction of Planet Vegeta was the idea of the God of Destruction? Frieza was wary of us Saiyans, which is why he used this opportunity to wipe us out."

"King Vegeta offended the God of Destruction. Do you think the will of a god can be defied so easily? Even Frieza has to crawl like a dog in front of the God of Destruction. Do you think I have the strength to fight a God of Destruction right now?"

"God of Destruction? What is a God of Destruction?"

Laiya explained, "The God of Destruction is the most powerful deity in this universe. Frieza is strong, right? A God of Destruction could wipe him out with a single finger."

Gaino added, "The only reason I was able to bring so many Saiyans out is because the God of Destruction turned a blind eye. Otherwise, how do you think we're standing here in one piece?"

"So, don't use your ignorance to try and prove how 'great' you are. Let me tell you, the universe is vast and filled with experts. We are still very weak, so we must preserve our strength."

Bardock was left speechless. Gine stepped forward and said, "Bardock, Gaino had good intentions in saving us. If it weren't for him, we would have both been destroyed by Frieza's energy blast."

Bum chimed in, "Exactly! Now is not the time to dwell on that. With so many of us, where are we going to settle down?"

Gaino said, "Stay on this planet for a while. Laiya and I will scout other systems to see if we can find a planet suitable for us Saiyans."

"Alright, alright. Go and have a look. We'll stay here for the time being," Bum agreed.

"Dad, don't worry. I'll be back soon."

Gaino picked up Laiya and used the divine technique, Instant Transmission. They arrived on a planet, but Gaino shook his head, "Too little oxygen. Not suitable for Saiyans."

Laiya nodded in agreement.

Gaino moved to another planet, still dissatisfied, and continued searching one by one for a suitable home.

One day, they arrived at a planet rich in oxygen, lush with greenery, and filled with dense forests. This was the ideal home.

"Laiya, let's go with this one. I think this planet is perfect." Laiya looked at the green world and was equally satisfied.

"Let's take this planet!" Just then, a native appeared and shouted at them, "Who are you people? What are you doing on our Planet Tuffle?"

So this is Planet Tuffle? Then you must be a Tuffle? Gaino looked down at the Tuffle, who was even shorter than himself.

"That's right, this is our planet. I suggest you leave," the Tuffle said.
